Story
Hi, I’m MotorI’m a lovely little velcro cat who truly lives up to my name—I’m almost always purring. I love soaking up the sunshine, chasing toys around the house, and curling up with you for a nap whenever you’re feeling tired.I’m more independent than social, but don’t let that fool you—I definitely enjoy being petted and I do seek attention. I’m also quite the talker and will happily chat with you throughout the day. I prefer my affection on my own terms though, so I’m not a big fan of being held.I haven’t been around other animals or kids yet, so that part of my story is still to be discovered. If you’re looking for a sweet, purring companion who loves cozy moments and quiet company, I might just be your girl.

Story
2 Years Old | Gentle Soul | Finally Her Turn Bellini has already lived a very full life — and she’s only two years old. Born in a colony, she grew up outside with little food, no real shelter, and far too much responsibility. Before she was even fully grown, she became a mother. And then again. And again. When we found her, she had just delivered four tiny kittens. Despite being underfed and exhausted, she was an incredible mom — patient, protective, and completely devoted. Her babies were nursed back to health and are now all adopted. Now, for the first time in her life… It’s Bellini’s turn. When she first arrived in foster care, she was shy and observant — the type to watch from a heated bed and politely evaluate your character before committing to friendship. That cautious nature is what helped her survive the streets with her kittens. But once she feels safe, Bellini transforms. She becomes affectionate, attentive, and wonderfully engaged with her people. She’ll greet you at the door with enthusiasm, weaving around your legs and rubbing against you like she has very important updates to share. She chats softly as if telling you about her day — the birds she supervised, the nap she perfected, the soft bed she claimed. And oh, does she love a soft, fluffy bed. Give Bellini something plush and cozy and she melts. She’ll settle in, start purring, and make the sweetest little biscuits until she slowly drifts off to sleep — often curled up beside Chris, perfectly content. Watching her knead and relax is like watching a cat finally exhale after two years of survival mode. She bonds deeply and loves in a steady, meaningful way. She enjoys being near you, calmly supervising or simply keeping you company. She has a peaceful presence, but she’s not distant — once she trusts you, she seeks you out. She’s submissive and incredibly respectful with other cats, making friends gently and without drama. She absolutely adores her foster buddy Chris, and you’ll often find them: • Sharing a heated bed like it’s reserved seating • Conducting serious cardboard box real estate inspections • Investigating pipe cleaner toys side by side • Supervising humans in calm shifts • Perfecting synchronized (or parallel) napping After three litters in just two years, Bellini finally gets to relax. She finally gets to play. She finally gets to be cherished. She deserves a peaceful home that appreciates gentle affection, soft greetings at the door, warm fluffy beds, and a little lady who will happily rub around your legs and purr herself to sleep knowing she is safe. And if that home includes Chris by her side? Even sweeter. They will both love to find their forever family together :) Check out more photos and videos of Bellini:

Story
Luke — Gentle genius with the softest heart Luke’s story began in the same fragile place as his sister’s—a homeless camp where safety was uncertain and survival was never promised. When a devastating fire destroyed everything around them, including the only home they had ever known, Luke was just a four-week-old, blue-eyed baby. He lost his mama far too soon, but he never lost the one constant in his world: Leah.
From the very beginning, the two of them held on to each other, and that bond still guides every step he takes. Luke may be a little more shy at first, still learning that the world can be kind after such a difficult start. Being so small without his mother was scary, and he sometimes looks to Leah for reassurance—she gives him courage, and he gently follows her lead.
But behind that tender caution is something extraordinary. Luke is, quite simply, one of the smartest kittens you will ever meet. The moment you pick him up, his worries begin to melt away. He leans into affection, soaking up pets and warmth as if he’s been waiting his whole life for that feeling. And if there happens to be a Churu treat involved?
Well… that healing process becomes ten times faster.
He has already learned that being picked up means a cozy lap, a soft blanket, or the safety of a warm hoodie—followed by the happiest purr you’ve ever heard. Truly, he can purr hard enough to power a city. Bring out a wand toy and any remaining skepticism disappears instantly.
Suddenly Luke is performing tiny parkour leaps and kitten acrobatics, joyful and fearless in play. He loves watching his humans, completely mesmerized by even the simplest moments—staring in quiet awe as if everything you do is magical and brand new. And then there’s his brilliant mind. Luke has mastered the piano food dispenser (yes, really) and proudly demonstrates his skills to the other kittens. He taught himself to run on a cat wheel, solves food puzzles like a champion, and approaches the world with curiosity, focus, and determination.
He is thoughtful, observant, and endlessly fascinating—a tiny soul with a remarkable spark. But above all else, Luke’s greatest love is Leah.
They sleep curled together, groom one another, play side by side, and face the world as a team. She gives him confidence; he gives her devotion. After everything they have survived, separating them would mean losing the safety they fought so hard to find. Both Luke and Leah and very gentle and polite with humans and other cats. They even allow to have their teeth brushed, nails trimmed and they love been burhsed! Because Luke and Leah are deeply bonded, they will only be adopted as a pair. We never separate true siblings, and research shows that two kittens grow happier, braver, and more emotionally secure when they have each other. Here is some more information why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one Luke and Leah are 2.5 months old as of Feb 1 2025. Luke and Leah are fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea-free. They tested negative for FeLV and FIV and heartworms Check out more photos and videos of Luke and Leah here: Luke and Leah Photo Album If you are interested in meeting this amazing duo or want to learn more about them please fill out an application here: Adoption application Questions? info@littlelivesatl.org
