Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Peat is a female cat who was born on a farm and is in fact inbred she is 1 years old and was born in April. She is not good with people and has horrible behavioral issues but she can be so sweet every once in a while which makes me think she truly has potential in being a great cat, she just needs an experienced owner. She growls, hisses, attacks, bites, scratches, etc. We have tried to get her to the vet but we are unable to pick her up or get her into a pet carrier. This is honestly our last hope for her to get help. We have tried playing with her, not touching her, petting her, picking up and petting her a lot as a kitten, and non of these things have been successful. She needs a home who is experienced and patient enough to work with her and hopefully get her the help she very desperately needs. If you adopt her we can give you an automatic timed feeder, a cat water fountain, and lots of toys she enjoys.

Story
Uff da is as cute as kittens come with those big amber eyes and swirly orange coat. But within it lies a very old soul. In fact, the foster mom of Uff da and the rest of the Midwestern Slang litter described him as stoic and observant. He likes to watch the world around him and is thoughtful before he jumps onto something. He would thrive in a quieter home and would bring his future family lots of zen in return. Uff da! Story
A charming, strapping kitten like this in the Rat Pack litter could have only one possible namesake: Dean Martin, the crooner otherwise known as Mr. Cool. And feline Dean oozes coolness, too, whether its waging a friendly battle with his littermates, Frank and Sammy, or settling into his favorite humans arms. His foster mom describes chasing and pouncing on his brothers as Deans favorite pastime. He is the biggest of the three and uses his body! But then its snuggle time afterward when this ebony Casanova is super sweet and relaxes when picked up. When you meet Dean, well, thats amore! Good with cats,
Story
When Cordelia arrived as part of a trap-neuter-return project, the plan was to return her to her outdoor home hence her TNR ear tip. But not only did she wow us with her sweet personality, veterinarians discovered that she has a congenital heart condition, ventral septal defect. Its not uncommon in animals or people, for that matter but it does mean shell need an indoor home where she can receive daily medication. But according to her foster dad, this stunning mini panther is more than worth it. She is such a petite girl that is so sweet when she gets to know you, he said. Were optimistic that she can live out a normal life, grateful to Critter Crusaders and the veterinarians at Iowa State University who helped with Cordelias care, and thrilled that shes ready to find a foster-to-adopt home especially if its a calm setting and includes a feline buddy. Cordelia may be all black, but you should see how she lights up when playing with other cats! Do you have a heart for darling Cordelia? Good with cats,
Story
Just like the Beatles hit that shes named for, Eleanor Rigby is a little complicated. She is a girl of two minds, says her foster dad. She gives off a very spicy vibe at first, but it sure doesn't take long for that to melt into the biggest purr monster EVER. She especially enjoys wrestling with her siblings and would thrive in a quieter home with a patient adopter who understands that Eleanor Rigby will blossom with time and space. I'm sure it wouldn't take long for her to settle into the full-time sweetheart that is just waiting below the surface. Story
From his aww-inspiring white mittens to his perpetual quest to be loved by people, Rebel is a cat who instantly lands in your heart. I think that people are his favorite thing in the world, says his initial caretaker. You can just pick him up and carry him around and he will purr the entire time. He will actually put his front paws up on your leg to convince you to pick him up. Rebel would thrive in nearly any loving home, especially one where he would receive plenty of attention. His current foster mom describes him as an easygoing, loving sweetheart who wows with his darling little meow, ultra-soft fur and talent for making biscuits and purring. Theres plenty of cause to love Rebel! Please visit our website at www.whiskerstnr.org to learn more about this amazing cat and to see other available cats.
