Tilly isnt just a cat. Shes a little gray-and-white fluff chock full of love and enthusiasm! She is very outgoing and always looking for human attention, says her foster dad. After all, not long ago, Tilly wasnt sure where shed find food next, or even a safe spot to rest those gorgeous amber eyes. Now, she wants ALL the snuggles she can get or even a high-up perch on her person! She is a shoulder cat. She has been known to leap to a person's shoulder from a table or countertop. Tilly would prefer to be the only feline in her future home, but trust us you dont need other cats with her endless capacity for cuddles. Cuddle time is very much her favorite thing. When Cordelia arrived as part of a trap-neuter-return project, the plan was to return her to her outdoor home hence her TNR ear tip. But not only did she wow us with her sweet personality, veterinarians discovered that she has a congenital heart condition, ventral septal defect. Its not uncommon in animals or people, for that matter but it does mean shell need an indoor home where she can receive daily medication. But according to her foster dad, this stunning mini panther is more than worth it. She is such a petite girl that is so sweet when she gets to know you, he said. Were optimistic that she can live out a normal life, grateful to Critter Crusaders and the veterinarians at Iowa State University who helped with Cordelias care, and thrilled that shes ready to find a foster-to-adopt home especially if its a calm setting and includes a feline buddy. Our hearts broke for Elvira when she first arrived, a very pregnant cat who was unwelcome where shed been trying to make a home outdoors, and with a severely dislocated toe that needed amputation. Even still, she was the best mama to her brood even prone to hugging her kittens! and found the courage to trust her foster family. She is a very sweet girl that is still very unsure of life as an indoor cat, says her foster dad. She enjoys tucking herself away in a safe place and letting the world come to her. She is really happy to get attention, but prefers to get it in her safe spot. One of his favorite things about her is the unique way she holds her tail draped across her back instead of up in the air and her clear potential to be someones loyal companion if given a chance.
