Story
Due to the fact that this wonderful kitty has been overlooked for some reason or another, we are willing to waive the adoption fee hoping that this will help find this loving kitty a forever home.So with an approved application you can take this kitty home for free!PinPin is a male Domestic Shorthair and Tabby mixed kitty who is about 2 years old. This kitty is being fostered at Oaknoll Retirement Residence located at 1 Oaknoll Court, Iowa City. He lives in the 'cat room', a studio apartment that is furnished with chairs and a sofa for the people who visit. This charming boy spends his days bringing comfort, joy, and plenty of snuggles to the residents.PinPin has a special way of making people smile, whether he’s curling up beside someone for quiet companionship or happily soaking up attention from his many admirers. His friendly, affectionate nature makes him a favorite everywhere he goes.I spend my days soaking up love from the residents, making new friends, and doing what I do best—bringing smiles and joy wherever I go.Being everyone's favorite is pretty fun, but what I'd really love is a team of my very own. I dream of having a forever family to greet each morning, curl up with at night, and share all my affection with. The folks at Oaknoll think I'm pretty special, and I have to admit, I enjoy all the attention! But even MVPs need a home field advantage, and I'm ready to trade my temporary digs for a happily-ever-after.If you're looking for a friendly companion who's already proven he can brighten people's days, I'm your guy. Come meet me and see why everyone at Oaknoll has fallen for me—I just might bring a little extra joy to your home.He is described as an 'MVP'. I'm a savvy cat who knows the score. I'm pretty unflappable, too. I don't mind entertaining myself, but a human companion at the other end of the couch and a nice scratch behind the ears always make my day. If you're looking for a resourceful addition to your team, think about signing this Most Valuable Pussycat. It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction.Adoption fees:Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two!Dogs - $155For more information on this animal contact washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comor call 319-653-6713All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young).Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. We recommend crate training until you’re confident that your dog is used to his/her new home. For more information visit: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/virtual-pet-behaviorist/dog-behavior/weekend-crate-training.Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. For an application to adopt, go to:https://www.pawsandmorewashington.org/adoptIf you cannot currently adopt, donations are ALWAYS welcome via our website Donate Now button at pawsandmorewashington.org Or mail to:PAWS and More Animal Shelter 1004 1/2 West Madison, Washington, IA 52353To sponsor an animal, emailwashingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comor call 319-653-6713.Hours:Monday closedTuesday thru Sunday noon to 4 Get directions at:washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comTo foster an animal (any length of time), complete the questionnaire atpawsandmorewashington.org/foster

Story
Mink aka Martha is a female Domestic Shorthair kitty who is about 10 years old. This gentle girl is a PAWS alum who recently found herself back at the shelter after the other cats in her home began bullying her over the last several months.Mink is incredibly sweet and affectionate, though she’s understandably been a little shy while adjusting to such a big change. After having her world turned upside down, she’s taking things one day at a time and hoping for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished again. This lovely senior girl deserves a soft place to land and a family who will help her enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and love. If you’re looking for a quiet companion with a gentle heart, Mink may be the perfect match. She is described as a 'Love Bug'. Do you seek affection? I do! If you also like petting, purrs, and paws kneading your lap, I think we might have a LOT in common. I'm looking for "someone who enjoys quiet times and togetherness."
