Story
Midnight is a beautiful black cat who is almost 4 years old. She enjoys rubbing up against her owner and going outside. Midnight is affectionate on her own terms, enjoying head scratches when she initiates contact. She would thrive in a home that respects her boundaries and appreciates a 'roommate' relationship with a pet. She will occasionally sit on your lap or lay on you for cuddles. She would be best in a house with an environment that respects her independence. She has never been around a dog and we aren’t sure how she is around babies/children as she has only been around a baby for 11 months.

Story
Highway is a tiny black cat with big golden eyes. She is incredibly affectionate to people she trusts when she feels safe in her environment. She did not do well in a busy home with multiple people and animals. She is doing better in a quieter setting. She gets along with the low-energy resident cat she lives with now, and she doesn't mind the dog (who ignores her). In fact, she's even taken to rubbing up against the dog and pouncing on the resident cat! That said, Highway is usually submissive and needs a quiet home. We have tried to introduce her to other cats with mixed success. She always initiates with fear hissing, but if the other cat ignores her, she will eventually accept them. If the other cat takes an interest in her and sniffs her or follows her, she is uncomfortable and things do not go well. We've been working with her since November 2021 and she has made so much progress! Highway needs a quiet home. She may be alright with one or two other animals if they are submissive and calm and ignore her. Slow introductions are a must. We would prefer to place her as an only pet just to be sure there's no compatibility issues. She has done well with children, but due to the fact that she is easily startled by loud noises and fast movement, a home without small children would be best. Highway will dart away to hide if she feels unsafe for any reason, but quickly comes back when she realizes that she is safe. She loves to play with feather wand toys. Highway actively seeks out affection from her trusted humans, but prefers not to be picked up. She is a "pet me" cat, not a "hold me" cat. Fun fact about Highway: She sheds, a lot! She is on a grain-free diet and that has helped. Highway is food motivated and loves when her foster mom shares a nibble of people food. She *loves* goldfish snacks! We are estimating her birthday to be late June or early July 2021. The vet suggested she may be younger than that, but we suspect the age discrepancy is due to her poor condition when she arrived. Poor thing was nearly starved to death. As of December 6th, 2021 (5-6 months old), she weighed in at just 3.9 pounds. As of April 19, 2022 (9-10 months old) she weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces. Highway was found on the side of the road on November 8, 2021. She was starving and dehydrated, and terrified of the cars racing by. A kind young man was walking by and Highway cried and darted out to wind herself around his legs, begging him to help. She was too scared to let him pick her up at first, so the young man coaxed her to follow along his walk until he got closer to his home when she finally allowed him to pick her up. She was given Frontline 11/8/21. Highway received her rabies vaccination on December 6, 2021 (she is overdue for a booster), has tested negative for FIV/FeLeuk, and has been microchipped and spayed. Highway's adoption fee is $100 to an approved home.

Story
Baby was adopted from the Humane Society in July 2025 with another cat from the same house. We need to rehome her because my large dog is not a fan of cats, and I worry for her safety. She is extremely sweet but very shy. She is very independent and primarily keeps to herself unless she wants attention. When she wants attention, she will sit in your lap and pur while getting pet. She is de-clawed on all fours paws, so she must be an inside cat only. She is not a fan of dogs, but gets along with other cats. Baby would do very well in a house where the environment is not loud or chaotic. She is FIV positive, so she shouldnt be in a house with other cats who are negative. It cannot be spread to people or other animals (it affects cats only). She has had perfect health since adopting her seven months ago. Adoption is free and also comes with all cat supplies/toys free of charge. I just really want her to find a loving, good home.

Story
Tippy was adopted from the Humane Society in July 2025 and is 7 years old. She is a very sweet and gentle cat. She dislikes being held and having her belly rubbed, but she will immediately crawl into your lap for pets and snuggles the second you sit down. She loves to play, has a lot of energy, and is super funny when she gets the zoomies. She is great with small kids but does not get along with dogs. Unfortunately we were not told about her dental needs upon adoption and we are not in a good financial place to pay for a dental trip at the moment, but she is in dire need of having at least one tooth removed and a cleaning. Tippy has a problem with leaking urine while she sleeps. She was checked for a UTI and it was negative. I havent been able to figure out how to stop it from happening. We never find it on the floor and she doesnt spray. She needs an experienced adopter who does not have a problem with her leaking urine while she sleeps. It is definitely not behavioral in any way.

Story
I got Lucious from a coworker who lives out in payensville, MN. His mother was a barn cat and either abandoned him or he just wandered off and my coworker found him all alone. She took him in at 3 or 4 weeks and nursed him until she gave him to me at 8 weeks. He is almost 2 years old now. Lucious is one of the best cats I’ve ever met, he loves to be pet and to play and can be vocal. He sometimes tries to go up on the counters if there is food up there so just keep in mind he’s a little spunky and can be a little naughty at times atleast here. The reason I am wanting to rehome him mainly is because I am allergic. I love him dearly but I don’t enjoy feeling so stuffy and sick all the time. He is bonded with my other cat and her name is kitty baby she is a fluffy diluted Calico who is 10 months old and beautiful. I would prefer that someone takes both of them so they can stay together they are very attached. They cuddle all the time play with eachother, and groom eachother.
