Story
Hello 👋 my cats name is Ghost, I adopted him almost two years ago from the humane society when he at two years old! He is friendly, good with other cats as I have another cat artie (they are best friends) love to cuddle and I hope to re-home them together and not separate. I am looking for a good home for both of my cats because I just found out I need to relocate for work and they don't accept pets where in going. Ghost is a friendly cat who loves to cuddle but since adoption has always remained on the more shy side. He loves to sit right next to you while you read books on the couch and is very chill.

Story
Pepita was originally adopted from Tri County Humane Society. She really enjoys lap time and snuggles, but she likes to pretend she doesn't. She particularly loves front leg stretches and neck scritches. She did well in our home for the first couple of years and got along with the other cat we had at the time. However, we started running into problems when we adopted some cats younger than her. She started exhibiting signs of stress, and has not adjusted to their presence after a year. This constant stress has made her very anxious and skittish, which is leading to behavior issues. She also strongly dislikes using a litterbox with other cats. We have given her a private litterbox which has helped, but I think a reduction in stress is likely to be more effective. At the end of the day, I love Pepita, but I think she would be much happier and more trusting in a home without other cats.

Story
Say hello to Cirrus! Cirrus has been a very sweet boy since coming into our care, while he does take a bit to warm up once he is you'll be in love! He enjoys curling up in a cozy bed with blankets. He came to TCHS as a stray so not much is known about his past. While being here, he has been on the shy side, and would love someone to go at his pace. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Cirrus should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Say hello to Carlos! He came to TCHS with some friends! He is used to living an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and may need extra time to adjust to change. Carlos is a bit reserved but enjoys being pet on his cheeks and chin and will give you an appreciative purr. He is a fan of freeze-dried cat treats. He has lived around medium-sized dogs, other cats, and children between the ages of 3-5 years old and did well. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Carlos should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health.
