Story
I got Lucious from a coworker who lives out in payensville, MN. His mother was a barn cat and either abandoned him or he just wandered off and my coworker found him all alone. She took him in at 3 or 4 weeks and nursed him until she gave him to me at 8 weeks. He is almost 2 years old now. Lucious is one of the best cats I’ve ever met, he loves to be pet and to play and can be vocal. He sometimes tries to go up on the counters if there is food up there so just keep in mind he’s a little spunky and can be a little naughty at times atleast here. The reason I am wanting to rehome him mainly is because I am allergic. I love him dearly but I don’t enjoy feeling so stuffy and sick all the time. He is bonded with my other cat and her name is kitty baby she is a fluffy diluted Calico who is 10 months old and beautiful. I would prefer that someone takes both of them so they can stay together they are very attached. They cuddle all the time play with eachother, and groom eachother.

Story
Looking for a loving home for my cat. He is a very sweet and affectionate cat who enjoys being around people. He is quite talkative and likes to “chat” with you throughout the day. He loves cuddling and snuggling, especially when he’s relaxing with his person. He also enjoys climbing and spending time in high spots like cat trees, shelves, or the top of furniture where he can watch everything going on. He is okay with other cats, but it may take a little time and patience for him to adjust and get comfortable with them. He especially loves wet food and gets very excited when it’s feeding time. Overall, he is a loving and playful companion who would do great in a home where he gets attention, affection, and a little patience while settling in.

Story
Meet Winter! He came to TCHS with his brother, Cupcake. Winter can be a little more shy than his brother. He would appreciate it if you went slowly with him. Unlike his brother, Winter does not like to go outside. He will happily stare out the window at the birds, though. He enjoys chasing laser toys but isn't very fond of any other "cat" toys. Winter and Cupcake have not met other cats or dogs. They have met children and did well with them in the past. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended. Ask a TCHS staff member for more information! He should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Meet Sherbert! He has been described as independent, playful, and sometimes lazy. Sherbert has not lived with other cats or dogs but isn't a fan when he sees them outside. We think he would do best as a solo kitty. He has lived with children and usually keeps to himself. All introductions should be slow and proper when bringing home new animals. Ask staff for tips! He enjoys an occasional trip outdoors and would love supervised time outside or in a catio. Does he sound like a good fit for your family? Come meet him today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. Story
Meet SPAM! This handsome man came into TCHS as a stray, so not much is known of his past. On arrival, SPAM had several wounds including his paw pads, rear legs, ears, and tail due to suspected severe frostbite. He spent some time in foster care to heal before he was ready for adoption. Spam was exposed to other cats and large dogs in his foster home, though they did not directly meet. He did not seem to mind the presence of the other animals. Slow and proper introductions are still recommended whenever introducing a new animal to the home. Spam has quickly been stealing the hearts of staff members with his loving personality. He loves getting attention and can be heard purring after just glancing at him. He will roll around for your attention and follow you around more! Come meet this sweet man today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896.
