Story
Baby was adopted from the Humane Society in July 2025 with another cat from the same house. We need to rehome her because my large dog is not a fan of cats, and I worry for her safety. She is extremely sweet but very shy. She is very independent and primarily keeps to herself unless she wants attention. When she wants attention, she will sit in your lap and pur while getting pet. She is de-clawed on all fours paws, so she must be an inside cat only. She is not a fan of dogs, but gets along with other cats. Baby would do very well in a house where the environment is not loud or chaotic. She is FIV positive, so she shouldnt be in a house with other cats who are negative. It cannot be spread to people or other animals (it affects cats only). She has had perfect health since adopting her seven months ago. Adoption is free and also comes with all cat supplies/toys free of charge. I just really want her to find a loving, good home.

Story
Tippy was adopted from the Humane Society in July 2025 and is 7 years old. She is a very sweet and gentle cat. She dislikes being held and having her belly rubbed, but she will immediately crawl into your lap for pets and snuggles the second you sit down. She loves to play, has a lot of energy, and is super funny when she gets the zoomies. She is great with small kids but does not get along with dogs. Unfortunately we were not told about her dental needs upon adoption and we are not in a good financial place to pay for a dental trip at the moment, but she is in dire need of having at least one tooth removed and a cleaning. Tippy has a problem with leaking urine while she sleeps. She was checked for a UTI and it was negative. I havent been able to figure out how to stop it from happening. We never find it on the floor and she doesnt spray. She needs an experienced adopter who does not have a problem with her leaking urine while she sleeps. It is definitely not behavioral in any way.

Story
Meet Everest! She has lived with a dog and did well. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Everest loves all the attention she can get! She prefers to sleep in bed with her people but often enjoys sleeping under the bed as well. Her favorite thing to do is lounge anywhere around the house. Everest likes to play with balls and mouse toys. Come meet this sweet lady today! She should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help her maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Meet Milkshake! She had been living the indoor/outdoor lifestyle at her previous home but has since decided the indoors is nicer! She has been around other cats while outdoors and did well with them. She may take some time and patience for her to warm up to people due to being outdoors most of her life, but she'll come around when food is involved (because who doesn't love food)! She likes to snuggle in laps when she is more comfortable around her people. Come meet Milkshake today and make her your new cuddle buddy! She should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help her maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. Story
Meet Licorice! This cutie came into TCHS with her littermates, and she'd love to go home with one! She's a playful girl who loves to wrestle with her siblings and will play with anything that moves! She'd love to have a variety of interactive toys like wands to get her people involved with playtime with her! If not going home with a littermate, we believe she'd love to have a friendly cat in the home to play with. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended whenever introducing a new animal to the home. She should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help her maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. When she's not playing, she likes to snuggle up in a kitty cuddle puddle! Come meet this cutie today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896.
