Frankie is a cuddle bug. She grew up with another cat but he passed away, she took a couple days to warm up to another cat but they ended up being best friends. She also grew up around a puppy, she wasn’t a huge fan but would occasionally cuddle with the dog too. She is a loud purrer so you’ll know when she’s happy. All she needs is cuddles and she’s a happy camper. She is potty trained and loves to sit in high places.

Cali was dumped in our subdivision in July of 2020. She found her way to our home and we began feeding her and playing with her. We were able to catch her and took her to a TNR (trap, neuter, release program). When we brought her home we couldn't bear to have her live outside fending off coyotes etc. We slowly introduced her to our older cat and they tolerated each other. Unfortunately our older cat no longer tolerates Cali's playfulness and that's why we are here. Cali is a love bug. She likes to get up on our lap and enjoys pets and belly rubs. She likes to sleep with us and is quite the huntress of basement insects. It is breaking our hearts to have to give her away. We feel she will be able to adjust to a new home much more easily than our older cat. We would be so grateful for someone to adopt and love her like we have.

Hiya, my name is BLUE JAY. I'm a really good boy that has been at OPEN DOOR for a while. I'm a little bit playful, a little bit snuggly, and a little bit chill...I'm pretty much perfect. I originally came here when I was just a baby and then my family moved somewhere I couldn't go. I came back to the shelter and was adopted out again. Something really scary happened to me there, I won't talk about it with anyone, and I hid so good that my new family couldn't find me for a week. They brought me back and I just didn't trust people for the longest time after that. I think I'm ready for a home now, but can it be forever this time? If you want to, come by and ask for BLUE JAY!
