Story
Charlie & his brother Cadfael were born in the woods and were rescued when they were several months old. Charlie has a sweet disposition, but can be shy with strangers.  Charlie is definitely the "brave" one of the brothers and needs to be adopted with his brother Cadfael. Both are 8 yrs old as of 8/20/21). Charlie loves to play and will come running if you shake the cat treat bag! His fur was fluffy when he was small and outside in the cold weather, but his fur is definitely not long (but he has a fluffy tail).  Cadfael & Charlie were adopted as young adults, but weren't given enough time to acclimate to their new surroundings, since they had only been in a single home.  They would do best in a quiet home without young children.  Both brothers are good with other cats. Both boys have a sweet disposition and demand lap time of their foster mom.  While not terribly vocal, Charlie does like to "talk" to his foster mom! -- Cadfael is the strong silent type! Story
Cadfael & Charlie were born in the woods and were rescued when they were several months old. He is a loving and social cat in his foster home, but shy with strangers. Both are 8 yrs old as of 8/20/21. Cadfael is a large, all black cat with medium-long hair.  He needs small daily brushings to keep him looking his best (but he's not terribly fond of "spa" time!).  Both Cadfael and Charlie like ot play with toys -- either with you or on their own.  They swat small stuffed mice and plastic springs all over their house.   Cadfael & Charlie were adopted as young adults, but weren't given enough time to acclimate to their new surroundings, since they had only been in a single home.  They would do best in a quiet home without young children.  Both brothers are good with other cats. Cadfael needs to be adopted with his brother Charlie. He has always been a healthy and well behaved boy! Story
Well, howdy there, humans! I'm Bennie, the undisputed king of charm and charisma in the cat world. That's right, I've been rocking the feline scene for a solid ten years, and let me tell you, I've been searching for my purrfect match for a whopping six of those! When it comes to attention, I'm like a magnet for nose boops, kisses, and lap time. I lap up affection like it's the last bowl of cream on earth! (Side note: cats are lactose intolerant.) And let's talk playtime - nothing gets my whiskers twitching like a good ol' wand toy, especially 'Da Bird.' I'll pounce, swat, and strut my stuff like a furry ninja in training! Now, let's address the elephant in the room - or should I say, the drama queen? Yep, that was me once upon a time. But fear not, dear humans, for I've found the cure to my melodramatic tendencies - a happy pill a day keeps the diva at bay! Trust me, it's made a world of difference. When it comes to my fellow felines, I do have my standards. I prefer my playmates to be of the submissive female variety. As for our canine counterparts, as long as they're respectful and understand that I'm the true alpha, we'll get along just fine. Now, let's talk about mini-humans. While I appreciate their enthusiasm, I must admit, I prefer a more mature audience. Teens, in particular, are my jam. They can read the moment and appreciate the nuances of my unique personality. After all, age ain't nothing but a number, right? So, if you're ready to add a touch of charm, a sprinkle of sass, and a whole lot of love to your life, look no further than Bennie, your feline match made in heaven. Adopt me, and let the good times - and the nose boops - roll! If you're ready to be my forever human, please reach out to shannon@catnetwork.org. Story
Domino, 5 yrs old as of 2/28/23, is what is known as a "very good boi". He was rescued from a local animal control facility along with his brothers, Pirate and DB (Pirate was adopted). He is a calm and friendly boy who flops over and wallows around soaking up belly rubs and pets, sometimes giving tiny little love nibbles. He does very well with other cats and is a great comfort to his brother DB (he and DB must be adopted together).  A home without young children might be better since he can startle easily and then hides. Domino and DB have both had 2 dentals in the past couple years, so their teeth will need to be monitored by a vet. Other than that, they are both very healthy boys. DB and his brother will need ample time to get adjusted to their new home, but after that they really start to show their personalities! Domino will roll back and forth on his back for belly rubs and it is the cutest thing. He likes to pull the covers down at the top of the bed, think of it as your own personal turn down service haha. He also likes to sleep under the covers of the bed during the day. Both of the brothers love to be up high and can jump higher than any cat I know. They will sleep throughout the day and then in the evening will be exploring. And also look forward to epic wrestling matches! They are not lap cats and are very independent, if you want low maintenance kitties, these are your boys. Domino will hiss if he is scared, but we have never seen any nipping or swatting at humans or cats.   Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).May 1, 2024, 12:12 am
