Story
Sheba was returned from adoption in 2022 when her adopter was dying of cancer. She is a sweet senior kitty looking for her forever home. When she returned she came back with an inhaler. It needs to be administered twice a day and she is fairly easy to treat. Momma is a sweet and charming cat with her foster mom and dad but requires some adjustment time with new people. She does not let her true, wonderful, entertaining, sweet personality show when meeting potential adopters. You should see her with humans she trusts--once she is comfortable she is a delightful cat, funny, entertaining, and vocal. She will listen to how your day was and will tell you all about hers. She also loves to be brushed! She follows her foster mom around the house. Helping with laundry is one of her very favorite things. A beautiful girl with gorgeous green eyes, her legs are on the shorter side, which makes her unspeakably cute! She would prefer to be an only cat but does very well with older, smaller dogs. Sheba hopes there is a patient person out there who will look beyond her initial shyness, recognize her true lovebug spirit, and give her the time she needs to adjust. Will you make her dreams come true? She's such a good sport and has been waiting for so long.If you are interested in meeting Momma or getting more information about her let us know. Story
Dustin is big cat. He is very active and loves to run up and down the stairs and play with balls. He's not so much of a lover but more of a manly- like cat. He does like sitting on laps. If you want him to want him to go somewhere all you need to do is to put dry food in a bowl and shake it and he will follow you anywhere. He gets along with other cats and dogs. Please contact my foster mom Kate at 314-550-5523We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
My name is Diva Dumpling! I was a scared momma cat that came into rescue and was a but spicy! Thats why I was a Diva. Now I am the sweetest kitty ever. My foster mom now calls me Dumpling since that spiciness had gone away. My life was not an easy one. In May a nice lady found me wandering her neighborhood. Soon she noticed I was pregnant, like really pregnant. Within a week I gave birth to 5 healthy kittens in her yard. She was frantic. There are a lot of predators at her home and was scared that my babies would not survive. Luckily she knew someone in rescue that could help. She drove over right away to see what was going on. I was so scared. I kept running away. Luckily the lady in rescue was prepared. She took my babies and put them in a carrier. She then put the babies behind a cage. When I came looking for them I went in the cage and she closed the door. Boy, was that scary. I calmed down and away I went to her home. She set me up in a cool bathroom where I could decompress. While I settled down she assessed my babies. She discovered they were roughly 7 days old. Their little eyes were not even open yet.I hate to say it but I was not a good momma. I did not know how to care for my babies. I didn't clean them. Luckily my foster mom knew just what to do. This wasn't her first litter taking care of. As time went on I let her touch me. Just a little at a time. I was scared, I didnt know what was going on. She was very patient with me. She didnt know what happened to me in the past. Was I abandoned, or did I get away from someone. All she knew was I was young and a momma.Months went by and I started to open up. Most of my babies have been adopted and now I am looking for a home of my own. I am very sweet and love to play. I dont know about other cats, I haven't been around them. I also dont know about dogs. My foster mom does not have dogs. As far as kids go, they have to be older, like teenagers. I am still very shy. I will come around with a very calm and quiet home. I could be an only cat in the home. I would like to be with a younger family since I am only a year and have quite a lot of energy.
