Story
This is Orien! He was my husband and I's first pet together and we adopted him about 3 years ago. He is about 6 years old, and a cat. We got him from the Humane Society. Orien is an incredible cat. He's very lazy, but he LOVES to play "bottlecap fetch" and chase string. If you take the plastic caps off water bottles, he'll meow very excitedly and will retrieve them if you throw them. It's very cute. He's also incredibly affectionate. He greets us at the door every day and will sleep with you and want to be around you 24/7. He gets along great with our other cat, and gets along decent with our dogs (mostly avoids but doesn't mind if they sniff him). He never bites, scratches, or hisses. However, he sheds like CRAZY and unfortunately has issues with litter boxes. If the litterbox is not completely pristine, he will pee in a random corner of the house. We recommend him to be an outdoor cat due to this. He was indoor with us, which is why we never re-vaccinated him. He LOVES nature.

Story
Billy is a 2-year-old female cat, born in our home and raised in a loving environment. She has a gentle, playful personality and can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she is very sweet and enjoys quiet, playful interactions. She is an indoor-outdoor cat and is used to having safe access to the outdoors, so an environment where she can continue this (or a very enriching indoor setup) would be ideal. Billy would do best with a patient owner who can give her time to adjust and respect her softer nature. She is well-mannered, not aggressive, and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate cat.

Story
I’m a big, fluffy 2-year-old boy who loves good food, cozy naps, and a bit of outdoor adventure. I’m gentle, affectionate, and enjoy daily petting and attention. I’ve grown up around other cats (my mom, uncle, and sister), as well as dogs and kids, so I’m well-socialized. I’m an indoor-outdoor cat and would thrive in a loving home where I can get plenty of companionship and care.

Story
Astrid is a very affectionate and friendly cat. She even loves belly rubs! Her exact age is unknown but she’s most likely a young adult. It’s important that’s she’s able to go outside as much as she wants, otherwise she will meow, wanting to go out. Unfortunately where we’re moving, it’s not safe letting her out and she isn’t happy as a fully indoor cat. Looking to rehome her where she will get to live her best life in and outside and get lots of love and attention as well. She needs time to warm up to other cats, only took a week for her to make friends with our kitten.

Story
We adopted Romeo from the STL Humane Society in Maryland Heights. He is 14 years old and would be a great cat for a loving home. I believe since he is getting older that perhaps a senior woman that just wants to have a loving, cuddly cat to keep them company would be best. Visitors will always be greeted and escorted back to the door with a nice good bye rub or good petting. Romeo isn't like normal cats that hides away.. He does like visitors and kids.We are moving to California soon to where my kids are. We can't bring Romeo with us as I don't think he would like the 3 day drive there. Think it is best to find another good home to love him. We will give the new owner, our Iam's cat food bag (unopened), automatic cat litterbox, liners, litter, and cat treats to start you out right. We live in South St. Louis County, MO near Hwy 55 and Butler Hill Road. We want a good home for him.Terri

Story
Hamlet is playful, affectionate, and direct with what he wants. He enjoys chasing after strings and pen, climbing/jumping into corners you didn't know existed, and sometimes hiding while simultaneously staring at you from the middle of a room. I have given him Purina cat food as long as I have had him and will happily send him off with a full bag. I would describe him as shy at first, but he becomes comfortable after a week or two. The only issue I ever have is getting him into his carrier, but once he is in he is usually quiet after the first few minutes. Although he has lived with just me, I do feel like he would do well with other animals, and would enjoy not being alone for hours at a time. If I were not moving overseas this summer I would not be rehoming him. I will also be happy to send him to his new home with all of his old toys, tower, and some food. Only asking for him to have a good home
