BONDED PAIR: Rusty and Rosie Some things in life are simply meant to be together — bacon and eggs, cookies and milk, Kermit and Miss Piggy… and Rusty and Rosie. Rusty (tan/white) and Rosie (black/white) are 6 year old littermates who have spent their entire lives side by side. They recently lost their beloved human, and they’ve been leaning on each other for comfort as they grieve. Now, these two are hoping for a new forever home where they can stay together and feel safe again. They are wonderfully cared for — spayed/neutered, fully up to date on veterinary care, and front paw declawed. They groom each other lovingly, have the occasional sibling spat, and then make up just as quickly. They adore being brushed, and a lint roller feels like spa treatment to them. Rusty is the biscuit making brother with a loyal heart and a lot to say. He used to sit on his human’s shoes to keep her from leaving, and they both greeted her at the door when she returned home. Rosie is the quicker eater and a bit more reserved, but she’s just as affectionate — and usually patient when Rusty steals the prime lap spot. They are indoor only, use their litterboxes, and would likely thrive in a quiet home with a predictable routine, just like the one they are used to. Rusty and Rosie are part of Mercy Hospice’s Pet Peace of Mind program, which believes pets are family and works to ensure our patients’ companions find loving, stable homes. For more information about this devoted duo, please text or email: 314 956 8931 or Nancy.Preheim@Mercy.net. Rusty and Rosie are located in Sullivan, Missouri.

Story
Orange cats are often described as affectionate, playful and social and Dylan is no different. Dylan is incredibly friendly and lovable. He loves being petted and especially enjoys curling up in his human’s lap or beside her in bed. He has been around dogs, tends to be frightened by younger children, and has not been around other cats. Dylan’s beloved human is currently on hospice, and this sweet boy is in need of a loving forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and cared for. Dylan is a handsome 5-year-old orange tabby. He is neutered, litter box trained and has been declawed on his front paws. He has received vaccinations in the past and will need his updated shots. Dylan is part of Mercy Hospice’s Pet Peace of Mind program, a compassionate program that recognizes pets as family and helps ensure that patients’ beloved companions find loving, stable homes.

Story
Looking to re-home my two year old cat. She’s very sweet, chill and healthy. She’s spayed and has been vaccinated. I travel with work, personal time commitments won’t allow me to give her the adequate time & attention I know she deserves, & would love to re-home her to someone who already has/had a cat. I've called several rescues already and checked in with friends and family. No luck. Located in St. Louis She loves company, but she’s pretty reserved and observant during big transitions, so it may take her a week or two to cozy up, but she’s cuddly, clingy to her human, routine-oriented & curious. She loves sleeping in different spots, window sill, bed, couch and loves to bask in the sun. Loves frequent pets.

Story
Dustin is big cat. He is very active and loves to run up and down the stairs and play with balls. He's not so much of a lover but more of a manly- like cat. He does like sitting on laps. If you want him to want him to go somewhere all you need to do is to put dry food in a bowl and shake it and he will follow you anywhere. He gets along with other cats and dogs. Please contact my foster mom Kate at 314-550-5523We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Kelsey is a very sweet, loving cat who craves attention. She has a soft meow and is very quiet but loves when you rub her. She rubs on my legs and lets me sit next to her. She still shy, but will warm up to patient person who lets her have time to feel comfortable. This sweet girl kitty loves to play, especially with wand type toys. The toys really helped to draw her out.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
