Story
Carl is probably the coolest cat that ever existed. He was over socialized in a college apartment and has always loved people. Got him in the middle of the road with his litter in West Virginia. He used to fetch items and pant after running around like a dog. He truly is the most unique cat I’ve ever owned. He’s an old man now, but he’s got some life left. I’ve got 4 children under 5 and we simply do not have time to pay attention to the cats, and I’d like to see them rehomed so someone can give them the attention they deserve. He’s about 15 years old. He has a sister named Ella who I’ll upload shortly too. Shes a year older, but shows less signs of slowing down. Thanks for looking!

Story
Meet Nyx! 🐾 Nyx is a gentle and sweet 2-year-old girl who’s a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s incredibly loving and affectionate. She just needs a little patience and a calm home to help her feel comfortable. Nyx hasn’t had any vet visits yet, so she’s not vaccinated or spayed. She currently has fleas — we’ve been treating them but haven’t had full success, so she’ll need someone who can continue with flea care and regular vet visits. She also has a sensitive tummy, so we feed her a mix of wet food and dry food made for sensitive stomachs, which she does well with. Nyx would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her the love, care, and gentle attention she deserves. 💕

Story
Meet Ryo! 🐾 Ryo is a sweet and friendly 2-year-old cat looking for his forever home! He’s neutered and up to date on his rabies vaccine. Ryo loves attention and being around people — he’s truly a lovable baby who just wants affection and companionship. Full transparency, Ryo appears to be in good health and has a healthy appetite. However, he does currently have some fleas. We’ve tried to treat them but haven’t had full success, so he’ll need someone who can continue with flea treatment and regular vet care. With a little extra care, Ryo will make a wonderful, affectionate companion who will bring lots of love into your home. 💕

Story
Meet Captain Cat Sparrow! Sparrow was brought into the shelter in active labor, and ended up giving birth to her babies in her kennel. We brought the whole family home shortly after, and immediately noticed that when Sparrow walked, her tush lagged a few steps behind her. Her foster mom joked that she must be a pirate because seems to have lost control of her booty   We originally assumed that she must have a neurological condition causing her wiggle, but it turns out she likely had a uterine infection that was causing her pain. As soon as she was spayed, she was able to run and jump and was 10000x happier. She is the sweetest snuggliest most funny girlie, and would be happy with or without a cat friend, as long as she has a human whose plate she can steal cheese from. She can be adopted with one or more of her kittens but she does like to have time away from them sometimes. Could Sparrow be your new first mate?  All Biscuits and Breadsticks kittens will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations, and be microchipped prior to adoption.  Interested in adopting one of our kittens? Go to biscuitsandbreadsticks.org/adopt and complete an adoption application to be considered! Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to all inquiries individually. If your application looks like it may be a good fit for your selected kitten, one of our adoption coordinators will be in touch within 10 business days to set up a phone/zoom interview. We appreciate your patience, and we look forward to learning more about your family!  ##2423614##

Story
Age: 3 monthsMeet Birdy!  Birdy came to us from an overcrowded shelter, where she and her two siblings—Fern and Romy—were left without their mom. Despite her rough start, Birdy has grown into a kitten full of love, resilience, and happiness. This girl is extremely lovable and lives for attention. If you’re nearby, Birdy wants to be involved—whether that means playing, cuddling, or showing off her very silly personality. She’s very playful and always ready to turn any moment into fun, keeping her people smiling and entertained. Birdy thrives on interaction and affection and would do wonderfully in a home that enjoys an outgoing, attention-loving companion. She’s proof that even the smallest beginnings can grow into something truly special. Birdy is ready to leave her shelter days behind and start her next chapter in a forever home filled with love, playtime, and plenty of attention.
