Story
Midnight and Shy 's Story Meet Midnight & Shy 🖤🤍 Midnight and Shy are an adorable, bonded pair of 9-month-old brothers who are looking for a forever home together. They were surrendered through no fault of their own when their previous owner could no longer care for them. Midnight is easy to spot with his sleek, shiny black coat and even easier to love—he’s over-the-top friendly, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing. Shy, his handsome brother, sports a soft white coat with brown tabby markings. True to his name, Shy is a bit more reserved at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet and gentle personality shines through. These boys balance each other perfectly and are just as cute as can be. They get along wonderfully with other cats and would thrive in a home where they can continue to grow, play, and cuddle together. If you’re looking to double the love, Midnight and Shy are ready to steal your heart and make your house their forever home. 🐾💕 Please apply for them at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

Story
I Adopted Tiger from a Shelter. He was there for months. Before the shelter he was surrendered due to a hoarding situation with his last owner. He does not bite and is sweet but very shy. He is good in a home with cats but my resident cat specifically does not get a long with him. He likes to be by himself. I don’t want to send him back to the shelter so I hope someone else can give him a wonderful life. He is 5 years old and I have all medical records to hand over.

Story
Tater's Story Meet Tater! 🩶🤍 Tater is a very handsome one-year-old grey and white male tabby with soulful eyes and a gentle spirit. He came to the shelter as a stray and, shortly after arriving, battled a pesky upper respiratory infection. The good news? Tater has fully recovered from his kitty cold and is feeling much better! Because he spent some time in isolation, Tater is understandably a little shy at first. But don’t let that fool you—he’s getting braver every day and showing more of his sweet personality as he learns the world is safe again. With patience, calm encouragement, and a little time, Tater will continue to blossom. Tater is looking for an experienced adopter who understands how to help a nervous kitty gain confidence and come out of his shell. In the right home, he’s sure to become a loving and loyal companion. ✨ Tater is healthy and ready for adoption—could you be the one to help him write his happy ending? Apply for Tater at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

Story
Cosima and Hecate's Story Cosima & Hecate are two 4-month-old female dilute torbies who came to the shelter as strays. Cosima has more orange on her face while Hecate has more white. The world is still a pretty big, scary place for them, so they’re shy and cautious with new people and new situations. Once they start to feel safe, their sweet sides shine through. Both girls enjoy gentle pets and will happily purr when things are calm and familiar. They’re still working on confidence and handling, and they’re not comfortable being picked up just yet—progress will come with patience, consistency, and kindness. Cosima and Hecate get along well with other cats and would likely do well in a home with a friendly feline role model. Because they’re timid and quiet, they’ll need an experienced cat person who understands shy kittens and can make sure they don’t “disappear” into a house while they’re settling in. These girls are not overly bonded and can be adopted together or separately. With time, gentle handling, and a safe environment, Cosima and Hecate have all the potential to grow into loving, trusting companions for the right home. 🐾 Please apply for one or both of them at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50
