ADOPT KOSHER! Kosher has been with us for over six months, quietly growing up in foster care while he waits for the right person to notice just how special he is. He is a playful, long-bodied boy with a sweeping tail and the softest fur you can imagine—now that his face is starting to fill out, he’s becoming quite the heartthrob. Kosher loves a good wand toy and will leap impressively high in pursuit, and laser lights are always fair game. He also enjoys gentle wrestling sessions with his siblings, followed by well-earned rest breaks on a cozy blanket or piled together on a cat tree. Lately, Kosher has found his voice. He chirps and meows for food, treats, and attention, and he is very food motivated—treat time is his favorite time of day. He’s also recently discovered that being held is pretty wonderful. Scoop him up belly-up like a baby, give him a few belly rubs, and he’ll happily melt in your arms. Kosher is a greeter, always meeting you at the front door, and when you pet him his entire body goes limp while his purr motor kicks into overdrive. Eden is the kind of cat who keeps you on your toes in the best way — a total lovebug with a very clear “okay, I’m done now” boundary. She’ll soak up affection, happily draped over your shoulder like she belongs there… and then, a few minutes later, she’ll politely (or loudly) request to be placed back on the ground. Quirky queen behavior. She’s blind and has hydrocephalus, but you would never know it from watching her move through her world. Eden is exceptional at being blind — confident, capable, and shockingly smooth about it. She’s a proud ground-dweller (no scaling cat trees over here), and she’s got one of my favorite little details: one side of her whiskers is white, and the other side is black. Eden uses the litter box perfectly. With other animals, she takes a little time to warm up, but she does get to a place of tolerance and routine. She could also do great as an only cat if you’re home a lot, because she truly enjoys being near her person (until she doesn’t, of course). Important care note: Eden has megaesophagus, which means she can only eat wet food and must never have access to kibble or any dry food — so her home needs to be a strictly no-dry-food environment. • Apply to Adopt Eden: Click Here
