Story
Dom is 5.5 months, born July 21st 2025. He comes from a litter belonging to my sister's cat and we've had him since he was about 4-5 weeks old. We wanted and thought that he was a female, but my nephew believed that he was male. He was right! So from the beginning we've called him "Dom", short for Dominic if male and Dominique if female. He is very playful and great with kids. Right now, we just can't give him the proper care and attention that he deserves, and we're hoping and praying that he can get placed with a loving home.

Story
Frankie was found as a stray and taken in when she got pregnant. She is so sweet that I suspect she was abandoned. She is estimated to be about 2-3 years old. She just recently became an empty nester and would be happy to find a home where she can be the main focal point instead of her kittens. She went from being a stray to a mom and I don't think she's really gotten a chance to just be young and playful herself. She will bring so much love to whatever family is lucky to have her.

Story
Everyone who knows us, knows we take in lost souls. We previously had 6 cats who got along wonderfully well with each other. Eight months ago, we took in Yoshi. He took to us, my daughter and I, very well. The problem is whenever he approaches any of our other cats, they end up cowering, hissing or swatting at his face. From the point of view of us humans it looks like he is simply approaching them to play or sleep with, but for whatever reason the other cats don't want anything to do with him. Yoshi is a rescue from the Scranton area. My daughter's friend shared that when her neighbors moved the left Yoshi behind. Knowing that we take in such cats my daughter brought him home. For the first month he stayed in her room and did very well with her and her other pets, a rabbit, snake and gecko. We've tried to be patient, but our cats just don't seem to like Yoshi. Yoshi has been neutered, chipped, and is up-to-date on his shots. Best guess on his age is between 18 - 24 months.

Story
Lammy is a 4 year old female cat who is healthy, sweet and friendly. She will sit with you when she wants pets but also she is independent and doesn’t follow you around all day begging for attention, she likes to do her own thing too. She loves treats and toys! Rehoming her isn’t something we wanted to do but we have come to the decision she could be having a better life than what we have had to change hers to. we had a baby 2 years ago and after our kid started to crawl, lammy and our other cat have become enemies and fight and hiss constantly when they are around one another. Lammy seems to be the one more obsessed with following our older cat around so she has been sectioned off to the 3rd floor of our house. We have tried multiple times over the year to reintroduce them but they will not get along. We do go upstairs and spend time with her and she even likes playing with our kid too but we feel bad she is alone mostly. We really love lammy and she deserves a loving home!

Story
Introducing the very lovely Kara. Her story is a sad one. Born in 2008, Kara had kittens who were adopted out, and Kara was spayed and adopted by a kind gentleman with several cats. Kara was well cared for, but one cat bullied her and made her timid. Her owner became ill and passed away in 2018. Kara was then adopted by another kind gentleman and friend of the rescue, who passed away very suddenly in June 2022. Kara is as sweet as sweet can be, but she needs some work and commitment from a special adopter to help rebuild her confidence. You need to seek her out, then she will thoroughly enjoy affection and will reward you with very loud purrs. Kara has been updated on all her vet care and is a very healthy senior kitty. She truly needs for her next home to be her last. A calm and loving home, ideally with no other pets (though she will adjust to kind ones), would complete Kara’s wish list. A senior human in need of a gentle companion would be just perfect. If Kara’s story stirs your heart, you just might be her person.
