Story
I promised to care for my dad's cat, Lucy, following his death earlier this year. I have tried, but after my second bout of pneumonia due to kitty-induced asthma exacerbations, I realize that I cannot keep Lucy in my home long term. Lucy is skittish and takes a minute to warm up, but once she knows you are her person, she will love you unconditionally. She could probably live with another calm animal that won't chase or torment her. She showed friendly interest in our dog, but the sentiment was not returned (don't worry, we keep them separated). I am looking for a loving home to add this pretty kitty to their family. Lucy is a 9 year old gray tabby, spayed, vaccinated, claws intact. Despite all her upheaval with losing my dad, she has never had a potty accident and has been a perfect house guest. Please consider providing this kitty a loving home.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is TJ and I am a sweet and beautiful male gray and white kitty approximately 9 and 1/2 years old. Sadly my previous owners were evicted in the city and proceeded to leave me behind in the apartment. It got even worse when the landlord threw me outside:( Thankfully a kind woman dedicated to TNR saw how sweet I was and how much I was struggling to fend for myself and sought a rescue to help me. My foster mom says I am just the sweetest and most affection kitty who will give you lots of head boops!! Even though I am a little older I still love to play and my favorite toy is a butterfly toy! I have very good potty manners and I love to be brushed. I am slowly gaining wait from my time on the streets when I was struggling to find food. I have just begun to cuddle with my my mom and hope to be able to that a lot more in my new furever home! If you are looking for a total sweetheart to be your new furry companion please don’t hesitate to fill out an adoption application for me at www.kittyjunction.org or if you have any questions at all about me please email KittyJunction@aol.com!

Story
Hi friends! My name is Fendi and I am just the sweetest female brown tabby approximately 6 1/2 years old. I was found desperately following people around on the streets of NE Philly begging for help. My rescuers were so excited to find that not only was I microchipped but also that it was actually registered to an owner. It turns out I was adopted from ACCT as a kitten and per the microchip company only have had one owner my entire life. Sadly that excitement quickly turned to disgust when after contacting the owner and verifying that all of the information was correct, she claimed to not know me, own me or any cat matching my description which means I was dumped:( My foster mom says that it’s ok as I deserve so much better than that! I am so incredibly outgoing and affectionate:) I will follow you hoping to receive some pets and attention and as soon as you look at me I start to purr! I am playful too, with catnip toys and feather wands being my favorites! I can also chill with the best of them, hanging out on the window sill watching the world go by or curling up next to you feeling connected. I love my food and have already gained back a lot of the weight I lost trying to survive on the streets. I also have perfect litter box manners! My only pet peeve is that I don’t feel comfortable around other cats. While I LOVE humans, I don’t love my foster roommates so I sadly need to stay in a crate while my foster mommy is at work. She tries her best to give me some alone time in the foster room in the evenings so I have a little more freedom but I desperately need and deserve more time and affectionate with humans. I would love to find a loving forever home with someone who maybe works from home or is retired so I can spend a lot of time with you! If you are looking for an amazing companion kitty who will keep you warm and feeling loved in the upcoming winter months, please consider adopting me by filling out an adoption application at www.KittyJunction@aol.com! I promise I will be your best friend!!

Story
Hi! Our names are Vaska and Murzik and we are a beautiful pair of brother kitties approximately 11 months old. We were the victim of sadly a way-too-often occurrence of being replaced by a younger kitty. Our previous “owners” decided we were getting too big and were going to dump us outside when a kind neighbor stepped in. Thankfully she did, as we never would have survived on the streets and worse we were never even neutered nor vaccinated. They had already replaced us with a new younger kitten by the time we were removed Our foster mom says we are two super sweet boys who were initially shy but warmed up in just a few days. Once we feel safe, we start looking into your eyes, sniffing your face, rubbing against you and will lay down next to you for attention. We will follow you around and talk to you with chirping sounds! We will also sleep with you in bed at night Our rescuers feel that a home where we are the only pets would be best for us. If you have room in your heart and home for two very deserving boys, please don’t hesitate to fill out an adoption application for us at www.kittyjunction.org or if you have any questions at all about us please email KittyJunction@aol.com!

Story
We got him from Furever Friends rescue 4 years ago when he was a kitten. He is a beautiful black cat, 4 years old, loves getting pets and is very sweet. He, however, does not get along with other cats. We'd had another cat for several years and wanted another so they could play together. There have been more and more issues with Ozzy over the years and between the vet and our own research, we all believe them to be because Ozzy does not get along with our other cat. We love him and will have a very hard time parting with him, but believe this is the best choice for him at this point. If you are wanting a cat, do not currently have another cat, nor plan to get another in the future, Ozzy could be a great cat for you. He is up to date on all shots other than the rabies shot, and is very friendly with humans (he is especially cuddly at night!). Please let us know if you have any questions or are interested in adopting him.

Story
Cricket is a male, gray & white cat. We approximate his age to be 2-3 years old. He was picked up off the streets of Philadelphia. He’s had his shots, been microchipped and house-trained. Cricket does have considerable stamina and plenty of energy to expend. He enjoys playing with strings, wands, scratching posts, motorized toys, etc...Furthermore, he likes to run & bird watch outside. It would be great to have someone who can indulge him in his outdoor activities. This all may sound daunting, but Cricket is usually out like a light most of the day. The main reason we are re-homing Cricket is because our older cat doesn’t get along with him. Our older cat is highly irritated with Cricket’s attempts to play. Therefore, we presume Cricket would be okay with another young & playful cat (if not alone). We suspect that Cricket won’t do well in a household with young kids as it will likely be overstimulating, so a living situation with just adults is preferred.
