Alyla is a beautiful friendly tabby kitty who is about 5 months old. She came from a Breeder in Elmira, NY a family of 5 kittens and she was the runt of the litter. She loves to play but when she’s sick all she does is sleep and has no energy! I don’t want her to suffer anymore she needs a lot of care and attention than I can offer for her and I do a lot.

Smokey is a spunky 2 year old girl with a big personality. She loves attention, but can sometimes become frustrated if behind a closed door or barrier. She prefers to be able to see all of her surroundings and come to people for pets instead of the other way around. Smokey seems to prefer women over men, though she has been warming up to all kinds of people here at the shelter. Smokey may need some extra time to settle from over-stimulation when first acclimating to a new home, but has so much love to give the lucky person who forms a bond with her. Jonathan is a friendly young 6 month old boy. He came to us with a surgically "tipped" ear meaning he as likely trapped as a feral stray and neutered before being released back into the wild. A good Samaritan found him around their home and took him in to care for him and found that he did not really act all that feral. Since entering the shelter, Jonathan is still slightly nervous with people and sometimes takes a while to accept pets without running away, but as soon as he's comfortable, he melts into a puddle of purrs and cuddles.

Kevin is a reserved and calm 6 year old black and white girl (yep, girl) who came to us with her sister Kevi when their owner could no longer care for them. She is often at her happiest finding a warm safe place to hide away and nap the day away. While she prefers her solitude, she is tolerant of other cats and is familiar with living in a household with others. She is a very affectionate girl once you get to know her and bring her out of her shell.

Jadis is a 5 year old black and white girl with a big personality. Her favorite past-time here at the shelter has been laying around upside down and lounging about most of the day. She is affectionate and greatly appreciates head pats, chin rubs, and cheek scratches, but can be a bit testy about being picked up and held. her left ear is a bit crinkled, we believe from an old abscess that has since healed and is no longer in need of medical attention. If you have lots of cozy, warm spots in your home, Jadis would love to come lounge around with you!
