Story
DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT OWNED A PERSIAN OR HIMALAYAN CAT!! Whitey is an Exotic Longhair at 5 yrs. of age. He is laid back likes to play. He is used to sleeping in round kitty beds and does not like to be bathed and dried. He has dirty eyes that must be cleaned every day. He is good with having his nails trimmed. Whitey gets a heavy coat that needs a lot of grooming or you may opt to shave him. If interested in giving Whitey his forever safe, indoor home, please email the rescue for an adoption application at ccrescue614@yahoo.com. One of our volunteers will send you one ASAP. YOU CAN ONLY MEET CAT(S) AFTER SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AND BEING APPROVED TO ADOPT.

Story
Teddy Bear must be adopted by a previous owner of a Himalayan or Persian cat. He requires a predictable, adult home only. No children or other pets, no exception! He was abused before coming into the rescue and will need time to slowly adjust to his new home to build trust. We prefer he stay in Columbus as we have a groomer he likes and trusts to groom him and cut his nails. When rescued, he had major ear issues, Due to severe damage, part of his left ear had to be removed and the other fixed. He is healed and is doing great, but does need regular ear maintenance. Once he knows you and fels safe he is very loving. He will find your lap, give you hugs and cuddle. If you cannot fulfill all his requirements, do not apply. He's had so much unhappiness in his life we won't risk sending him where he isn't cherished and loved. If interested in giving Teddy Bear his forever safe, indoor home, please email the rescue for an adoption application at ccrescue614@yahoo.com. One of our volunteers will send you one ASAP. Story
We found Pepper back in November around our neighborhood. Very sweet and playful as well as very food motivated. She's estimated to be about a year old now. She's very good around people and can be picked up and played with, unfortunately our older cat does not tolerate her well and we are trying to find a home that can be a more calm environment for her.

Story
Luna (Spanish for moon), is an eight-year-old cat that was born on Cinco de Mayo. She is a very sweet and vocal kitty who loves getting treats, wet food, scratches behind the ear, and sitting on your lap once she gets to know you. She prefers to be in a home that is not particularly noisy, but she comes and greets you at the door when you get home like a dog. Since she lost her brother in July, she has been extremely lonely, and very needy of my attention when I am home. Sadly, I am gone a lot and the loss of her companion has had a detrimental effect on her. It will be just as hard to say goodbye to her as it was my cat who passed away. I am rehoming her because she is a sweet girl who she deserves a loving home. She loves chasing a laser, eating catnip, using her scratch pad, and belly rubs.

Story
I am trying to re-home my kitty Milo, because he is not happy with my other cats. Milo is harness trained and loves to take walks like a dog. Milo was found as a stray. He is a 3-year-old orange tiger tabby. Milo is neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, tested for FeLV and FIV (negative). He has a microchip. He has had all his shots for the year. Milo would be better and happier with someone who doesn't have other cats. Dogs should be okay. Milo is a very friendly kitty and very social and energetic. He would be great with a pet parent that is adventurous and active. He loves people, cuddles, playing with toys, and taking walks. He does not like being alone, car rides, or being in a carrier or being confined.

Story
Her name is Katie. She is 8 years old. She is a sweet cat with a boisterous voice. She is cuddly and will sleep with you if you let her. She is a lap kitty at times. I believe that she needs to be an only cat. She does get along with dogs. She has had her front paws declawed. She is purely an indoor cat. We adopted her as a kitten but she has not adapted well to our other cats and dogs.
