Hi, my name is Tempest. I came to Cozy Cat with my babies in 2024. We were all very scared when we first arrived. Over time, my babies started trusting humans and found homes. I'm not quite there. I tend to avoid people when it's busy and if someone gets in my space, I hiss to let them know they are too close. When it's quiet, I don't mind if someone sits by me and talks to me as long as they don't try to touch me.

My blue heart means it's going to take a special person to adopt me!My name is Paddie and I was born at a mechanics lot in Shawnee Hills, Ohio with my sibling.  We were both adopted into different homes after being in foster care.  I was in my previous home for approximately 4 years and started having litter box avoidance issues.  It was also determined that I am high anxiety cat.  I was prescribed medications to help with both issues, but it was reported that these meds weren’t successful in that home environment. I tried staying on my meds at the center and is proved to be just as hard to medicate me here. What can I say, at the end of the day, I'm a cat.  Since I have been back at the Cozy Cat Cottage, I have had good behavior.  I am very affectionate and I loves pets.  I have gotten into a couple of squabbles here at the center, but at the end of the day I just want one on one attention.  A large cat/animal family wouldn’t be the best fit for me, since I get anxious.  I will make a great companion to someone.  A quiet laid back lifestyle would suit me best.  Please come and visit me to see if I would make your house a home.

Boots is a beautiful 4 yr old, creamy white with some brown markings on her face, tail and paws. She is an extremely friendly cat that acts more like a dog. She started as my daughter’s cat. I ended up with her 3 yrs ago when I was supposed to Grandcatma sit for a “month” that somehow never ended. She sits in my lap for hours. Sleeps with me and waits at the door for me to come home. She loves to be brushed. A must with her long hair. She gets a Churu treat every morning for breakfast. Has an automatic feeder and water dish. She loves to play with empty toilet paper rolls. She also has a treat toy that she’s mastered. She needs her person to be around a lot. I want her to go to someone who will give her lots of love and attention. I currently pay someone to stay at my house when I travel so she’s not alone. My schedule has gotten really busy and I’m not able to be at home as much as she needs. She comes with a cat tree, blankets, litter box, food dish’s, treats and a plethora of toys.

Hello, my name is Edger Allen Paw.I was left outside at a barn in London. No one really knows my story except for me… and I’m not telling. What I can say is that a kind human found me and reached out to a rescue friend. Because of them, I was given a second chance and a warm foster home.When I arrived, I had a pretty rough upper respiratory infection. I didn’t feel my best, but being safe and warm made all the difference. Once I started feeling better, I truly blossomed.I’m a gentle soul who prefers all four paws on the ground — being picked up isn’t really my thing. But pets? Attention? Quiet companionship? Yes, please. I would thrive in a calm home with older kids or adults who understand that love doesn’t always mean being carried around.There is just one very important thing you should know: I must have canned food. I go absolutely wild for it. It is essential to my happiness and overall best life.All I want now is a forever home — humans who will love me for exactly who I am, and let me love them right back.
