My blue heart means it's going to take a special person to adopt me!My name is Paddie and I was born at a mechanics lot in Shawnee Hills, Ohio with my sibling. We were both adopted into different homes after being in foster care. I was in my previous home for approximately 4 years and started having litter box avoidance issues. It was also determined that I am high anxiety cat. I was prescribed medications to help with both issues, but it was reported that these meds weren’t successful in that home environment. I tried staying on my meds at the center and is proved to be just as hard to medicate me here. What can I say, at the end of the day, I'm a cat. Since I have been back at the Cozy Cat Cottage, I have had good behavior. I am very affectionate and I loves pets. I have gotten into a couple of squabbles here at the center, but at the end of the day I just want one on one attention. A large cat/animal family wouldn’t be the best fit for me, since I get anxious. I will make a great companion to someone. A quiet laid back lifestyle would suit me best. Please come and visit me to see if I would make your house a home.

My name is Sugar, and I came into this world outside with my sister, Spice. It was cold and rainy the day our mama left us on someone’s porch. We waited and waited for her to come back… but she never did.The kind person who found us kept us safe and dry while they watched for her return. When it became clear she wasn’t coming, we were taken in and given a second chance.From the very beginning, I’ve been a shy girl. The world felt big and a little scary. I spent 12 weeks in a loving foster home with lots of other kittens to play with. My foster mom held me every single day and showed me what gentle hands and kind voices feel like. Yes I’m beautiful! I have long white hair and a petite stature. People naturally want to reach out and touch my beautiful hair and try to pick me up, which makes me very uncomfortable.Prior to coming to CCC, I lived in an environment that had too many cats and not enough resources to take care of us. I learned that I could not depend on people to take care of me. Since being at CCC, I’ve met a lot of wonderful people and there is an abundance of food, plenty of warm beds, and lots of friends. I really like most of the other cats at the shelter, but am still not sure of people. Especially those who want to touch me just because I’m beautiful.I would do best with a patient adopter who understands that some of the most rewarding bonds take a little time to grow. In return, you’ll get a loyal, tender-hearted companion who will blossom even more once I know they're finally home. I would also like to live with other cats, because I’ve never lived without a bunch of other cats and find comfort in having a lot of friends.
