Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, my name is Lucy,Female - SpayedBritish Short Hairapprox. 1 years oldHere's a little insight into my background and personality: I'm in search for my forever home! I love my independence, you can often find me exploring my surroundings and playing with my toys! But don't let that fool you, I love snuggling and being affectionate. Unfortunately at a year age a bit of my independence was taken away, I've been diagnosed with diabetes and require regular insulin injections to help me. Don't let this scare you though! With proper care I can live a very long and healthy life. Watching me thrive despite my condition can be the most incredibly rewarding. My reactions to:Cats - I would prefer not to have close interaction with other cats and would do best in a home as an only cat or have separationDogs - I don't have much interaction with dogs. I would likely do best in a home without a dogMeeting new people - I can be shy at first, possibly hiss or swat but I warm up fast. Something I even give headbonks and purrChildren - I don't have much interaction with children.Litterbox - I have no concerns using my litterbox.Stressful situation - I can be OK. I ride in the car with no issues and did very at my last vet examPlaytime - I enjoy playtime and chasing a laser pointer though I'm not interested in too many toys. I not only like to be the middle of things, I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll make plenty of time to show my affectionate and sweet side, like my name! I'm a demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat brimming with confidence? That's me!My reactions to:Cats - I can be reactive towards other cats and would prefer a home where I can be the only catDogs - I haven't had much interaction with dogsMeeting new people - I enjoy meeting new people, I may be shy or timid but do warm up quicklyChildren - I haven't interacted with many children. Story
Misty, a DSH female brown Tabby, was rescued by GFCC with her family. She was born on April 13, 2023, and now lives in a foster home with 3 foster feline brothers and a small senior family dog. Hi, my name is Misty, and I'm a beautiful, playful cat who loves to play with string toys, chase laser lights, and bounce around with spring toys. I'm a bit shy, so I would do best in a quiet home with older children who will give me the attention and love I deserve and a feline who wouldn't mind if I tag along... I love to follow my foster brothers around the house and see what adventures they're up to, and I always make sure to be the first one at my food bowl when it's time to eat. I'm a bit particular about my water, and I like to drink it by dipping my paw into the water bowl and then licking my paw. I love chin and head scratches from my foster mom ... I love to sit on the tree house with my foster brothers and watch the squirrels and birds in the garden, and when it's time to rest, I love to nap on the bed or under the bed, where it's nice and cozy. Once I am awake I look for my foster brothers to see what adventures they're up too. If you , your family and your feline friend don't mind having me around, I would be thrilled to become a part of your family and share in the joy and love that comes with it.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Harriet has settled into her new foster home after living in a pet store for the last couple of years. Harriett was stressed in the store from barking dogs and young kids. She loves attention and will bring you her toys to interact with you so you will throw them for her to go get. She will walk in front of you and roll over for some much deserved belly rubs. She also rubs against your hands and legs for some petting. She will play with toys as long as you are playing also. You will find Harriett wherever there are people as she wants attention and will chat with you to let you know. She is a confident independent kitty who will inspect things around the house. She has good manners around food although she likes to try and steal your milk. At night you will find her sleeping with you on your feet or pressed against your legs or tummy. She always wants to be with someone all the time. This kitty wishes to find a home where she can be spoiled rotten and have your undivided attention.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sheldon was born in a shed on our property with 2 other kittens. We think he was born in mid-July last year. His mother cat, a feral we fed, brought the kittens one by one to my husband at around 8 weeks old. Mamma cat came as well to help take care of them. Of course they were all scared but we needed to start socializing them as soon as possible. It took us five days to catch them all! Momma kitty whom we call Bow because of the small white necktie was trapped, spayed and returned outside. We still feed her daily. Sheldon is a hilarious cat. He will often bring toys to play fetch with. He loves to play with a dragging toy, especially if it has a feather at the end. He likes ouncing on grocery bags. He has a great meow. He would be okay in a quiet house as an only cat or in a busy house with other pets. He has been socialized with other cats, dogs and guinea pigs. He is very good with our daughter as well. He doesn't like being picked up but will hang out happily until you put him down. Our 17 years old cat, Maynard and Sheldon get along very well with each other. Sheldon is a very handsome kitty! He has a beautiful grey coat with stripes and dark spots (like a wild cat's coat). He has one white sport center of his neck like a bowtie. Beautiful eyes as well. He's a good boy.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mabel is a sweet and lovely spunky kitten. She was born August 23/23 and is bonded with her sister Dixie. It took us awhile to find a suitable foster for these two sweeties but they are now starting to soar in a quiet household with some house cats. Mable is extra cautious around loud noises and sounds and an adult only home is probable where she will be happiest. Mable will sleep on the bed at night with you and all the other cats but prefers the bottom of the bed. Her safe space is under the bed but will soon come out to see what the fuss is about. For some reason she loves to want belly rubs when you are in the middle of cleaning the litter box. Mabel and her sister Dixie love to chase each other around the house and wrestle. Her favourite toy is the ball tower. Mabel will sit beside you for pets while her sister likes to sit in your lap. Each morning their foster mom picks them up for some quick good morning kisses. Would you welcome these two sweethearts into your home and love them forever?
