Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.TEACHER was found living in a backyard under a shed and she’d been there since the wintertime. Suddenly 4 kittens appeared with her and we received a call to get them removed and into rescue, They were rescued on the Labour Day weekend so we named them Teacher and her subjects (Calculus, Drama, Gym and Library.) She’s been spayed, had her vaccines including a rabies shot, Revolution and a microchip plus a clean bill of health from the vet. If you’re looking for the cutest most affectionate cat then look no further as here’s your girl. She loves to snuggle up with you and turns into a purring machine and will head bop you to give her head scratches.  TEACHER is litter box trained and has been since she came into rescue. She’s fostered with 2 other adult cats and is very snuggly with them and will curl up and have a snooze beside them as well. We would love to see her go to a home with another cat as she does really enjoy their company but she can be an only cat provided she’s not left on her own for long periods at a time. She’s met a puppy and there wasn’t any issues at all so would suit being with a dog. We recommend as always a slow, monitored introduction between them while the dog is kept leashed. Children should be aged 6 years and up plus be loving, gentle and calm around animals. TEACHER loves to chase the other cats in her foster home around and has been caught many a time grooming one cat or another and sharing her food bowl with them. She eats both kibble and wet food and just loves Temptations treats and lick sticks. She’ll sit in the raised cat bed for a nap and has just started to sit in the window sill and watch with interest as the leaves fall off the trees and if she’s lucky enough she’ll spot a bunny or 2 hopping around.  If TEACHER sounds like she’d fit into your family then please submit an adoption application to meet her.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2025, 12:50 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.LIBRARY was found on a local property living under a shed with her mum, Teacher and her siblings (Gym, DRAMA and Calculus) and she’s now looking for her forever home. She’s spayed, had her two sets of vaccines including a rabies shot, Revolution, a microchip and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. She’s still apt to run away from anyone but her foster and has yet to let herself feel comfortable around strangers. She loves to be on the cat tree and is usually on there with either her brother, Calculus or her mum, Teacher.  LIBRARY has used the litter box since day one in foster care as she’s such a smart little girl. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food, have her water nice and cold plus she loves Temptations treats. She’s in a foster home with a puppy so she would suit a home with a dog as long as it’s cat savvy and as always we recommend a slow, monitored introduction be made between them. She has her siblings plus several other cats in her foster home so we feel she would best suit being with another cat. Children should be aged 10 plus due to her timidness and they should be gentle, loving and caring towards animals.  If LIBRARY sounds like she would fit into your family then please put in an adoption application to meet her. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2025, 8:22 pm

Story
Three year old Kevin is a special dude who's looking for an equally special home - If you love cats that are full of personality, mischief, and have a sweet n' sassy attitude, Kevin wants to get to know you! Kevin originally became a member of the Furry Friends Family after he was surrendered at our door. Although he was just a baby at the time, he was extremely frightened of everything around him and just had no idea how to exist without that paralyzing fear. We quickly discovered that hands, feet, and raised voices in particular terrified him, and in order to protect himself from these perceived threats, Kevin would bite and scratch to keep humans away. This reaction was of no fault of Kevin's own, something that clearly scared him right to his very core before we met him. It has taken almost three years to heal from his trauma, but Kevin has made absolutely incredible progress with the help of our volunteers and vets - Nowadays Kevin is a true kitty King in every sense of the word, and he continues to grow and learn every day! With an incredibly intelligent personality, Kevin likes to live life with a 'my way or the highway' mindset - He loves to push his boundaries and see just how much mischief he can get away with, which means that he needs an experienced adopter who can handle his antics! With gentle but firm guidance, Kevin knows how to be a perfectly good boy, even if he pretends not to sometimes. Playful, energetic, and an unapologetic couch potato once he works all of that energy off, Kevin loves to leap from cat tree to window ledge and back again. He has learned just recently that being brushed is GREAT, and he appreciates a well placed scratch on the head and shoulders. You will often find him melting in the sun, and he has even discovered that sleeping in a lap is amazing. Kevin can still become startled and momentarily revert back to the frightened kitten he used to be, and sometimes he will bite or scratch when he feels unsafe. He just needs a calm and steady human who is going to love him through his fears, and still be there on the other side for him. Kevin is looking for a home with no cats, no dogs, and no children. He would greatly benefit from an experienced adopter who is ready to go toe to toe with King Kevin's bodacious personality, and all of the wonderful quirks that come with a cat like him. He is also on a daily medication in order to help manage is anxiety, which he eats in his food like a champ. Kevin has come a long way on his healing journey, and with your help, he's only going to get better and better!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DEER was found living in a backyard under a shed and with her Woodland Litter (Squirrel, Chipmunk and Hedgehog) when we received a call to help rescue them from where they were living and get them to safety. She was a wonderful mum to her 3 girls and now it’s her time to shine and find her forever home. She’s been spayed, had her 2 sets of vaccines including a rabies shot, Revolution and a microchip plus a clean bill of health from her vet. If you’re looking for the sweetest most affectionate kitty out there then look no further as here’s your girl. She loves to snuggle up with you and turns into a purring machine when she gets the attention she craves. She loves being around people and everyone she meets gets greeted with loud meows. DEER is litter box trained and has been ever since coming into the rescue. She’s fostered with a few cats and kittens and is very social with them and will even curl up and have a snooze beside them as well. We would love to see her go to a home with another cat as she does really enjoy their company but she can be an only cat provided she’s not left on her own for long periods at a time. She hasn’t met a dog but if there’s a cat savvy one in the home then they should do well together. We do always recommend a slow, monitored introduction between them while the dog is kept leashed. Children should be aged 6 years and up plus be loving, gentle and calm around animals. DEER loves to sit in the cat tree and have a nap and she also uses the scratch pad attached to it. She’s very playful and loves to chase the little plastic balls around especially the ones with the little bells in. She eats both kibble and wet food and just loves Temptations treats and lick sticks. If DEER sounds like she’d blend right in with your family then please submit an adoption application to meet her.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 21, 2025, 10:59 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.MULTIGRAIN hails from Sandy Lake and came south in search of her forever family along with her mum, Bread and 3 siblings Sourdough, Wholewheat and Pumpernickel and she’s now looking for her very own loving forever home. She’s had her two sets of vaccines including a rabies shot, Revolution flea and tick treatment, a microchip and been deemed a healthy girl by the vet. If you’re looking for a loveable little princess then look no further as this is she. She’s also an active, mischievous little girl who’s adventurous and loves exploring all the nooks and crannies in the room. She loves to play with her toys and chase her siblings around. She’s one of the most loveable little kitties her foster has ever known as she loves it when she’s picked up and snuggled with.  MULTIGRAIN has used the litter box since day one in foster care as she’s a such a smart little lady. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food along with nice cold water to drink. Plus her all time favourite though are the treats she has and most notably, Temptations treats. Chasing crinkly toys around is one of her favourite pass times and she’s just discovering what fun all the kitty toys are that she has. She loves the cat tree and uses the scratch post that’s at the bottom of it too. She’s in a foster home with a puppy so she would suit a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made between them. Another cat in the home or even one of her siblings would be ideal for her as she’s always been with several of them and actually never lived alone. She can be an only cat though as long as she’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6 plus and be caring, gentle and loving towards animals.  If you would like to meet MULTIGRAIN then please submit an adoption application for her. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 31, 2025, 2:55 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CALCULUS was found on a local property living under a shed with his mum, Teacher and siblings (Drama, Library & Gym.) They were trapped on the Labour Day weekend and just in time for back to school so this little family became “Teacher and her Subjects.” He’s now looking for his very own loving forever home. He’s neutered, had his two sets of vaccines including his rabies, Revolution, a microchip and been deemed a healthy boy by the vet. He’s a quiet, friendly boy who likes to get to know you first before he’ll come over for pets or to be picked up. He’s come along way since being in his foster home and isn’t the very shy boy who arrived a few weeks ago. He’s not what you’d call an adventurous boy as he would rather sit back and watch the other cats get up to mischief while he just sits back and watches what they get up into.  CALCULUS has used the litter box since day one in foster care as he’s a such a smart boy. He loves to eat kibble and wet food plus drink nice cold water. Temptation treats are his favourite and if he hears that container shaking then he comes running. Chasing crinkly toys around is one of his favourite pastimes and he’s just discovering what fun all the other kitty toys are that he has. He really enjoys hanging out in the cat tree and is often caught having his nap on it. He’s in a foster home with a puppy so he would suit a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made between them. He’s also fostered with several cats so would definitely suit being with another one in the home. He’s still with his mum, Teacher and his sister, Library, so he would definitely suit staying together with one of them as he loves to snuggle up with them. They’re both beautiful all black cats just like he is too. If he isn’t adopted with one of his family members then he should go to a home with another cat as if he’s not snuggling with his family then he’s snuggled up with another cat in the home. Children should be aged 10 plus just because he’s on the timid side and they should be caring, gentle and loving towards animals.  If you would like to meet CALCULUS then please submit an adoption application to do so.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 30, 2025, 11:24 pm
