Zanzibar 10 yrs old, Indoor ONlYZanzibar is a spunky, spirited guy with a big personality. He is a wonderful companion for someone who understands and respects feline boundaries.Personality: He is affectionate on his own terms. He is a "look but don't touch" guy in certain moods; he will let you know when he’s had enough petting, so he requires an owner who is observant of his cues. He will sleep right next to you at night.Favorite Things: Bird-watching from the window, lounging in cardboard boxes, and playing with toys, loves fresh water dailyCare: He is neutered. He is not a fan of nail trims (we usually do one paw per day), & he thrives best when his litter box is kept very clean. He is also not a fan of the cat carrier, so I do use a dog crate and normally try to have him go in on his own.Daisy & Zanzibar share a lifelong, comforting bond. While both can thrive alone, I prefer to keep this pair together, as they provide each other with essential security. Can’t be with any male cat

Story

Gracie is a playful and funny sweetheart. She is approximately 13 years old. She was found in a box as a baby in Woodburn Oregon and I adopted her 13 years ago from a veterinarian that had her up for adoption. She is healthy, keeps to herself and will get playful sometimes. We got a dog that she is terrified of and she won’t come out of hiding. She is very unhappy in our home and has since began not using her litter box correctly. I think she would be much happier being in a home as the only pet and have the house to herself. She appears to be mostly gray in color with some calico markings on her back. She has a little white bow tie marking on her neck. I want her to be happy and thrive in her final years and not be hiding. I’m hoping someone would love to adopt an older lady and give her the love and care that she deserves.

16 month old bonded brothers that need to be kept together. They love people and are very good cats, very curious and love to be involved in what is going on in the household. They are indoor cats at this time and have no experience with the outdoor world. I am giving them up as my life has drastically changed in the past 6 months and will be out of the country for weeks or months at a time. I love these guys and it is important that they go to a good household.

We got Minnie from someone that traps, neuters, and releases feral cats. Minnie was so cuddly and affectionate that they believe she was an abandoned pet rather than feral. She's about a year old, loves attention, snuggles, and to be pet. She'll climb up into your lap and continually push her head into your hands for more petting.She's fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FELV.We've had her for a couple of months now and our existing cat has just not warmed up to her at all, causing stress for both cats, which is why we are seeking to rehome her.She has firm boundaries regarding being pet on her stomach and the front of her neck, and will enforce them with hissing and sometimes nipping. We would recommend that she go to a home without children. Her rescuer said that she did not tolerate being around dogs either. She seemed willing to get along with out existing cat, but we'd still recommend a slow introduction if brought into a home with other cats.

Puma has been with us for 11 year since she was a kitten. She was a rescue from Humane Society in Phoenix. She is a sweet cat and very loving. Unfortunately my son has allergy/asthma issues with cats necessitating a new home.
