Story
PENNE a cute and affectionate little gray tabby male teenager kitty.  He loves to stretch out really long and pull himself across the carpet like a snake.  He is very friendly with any person that he meets, and he also enjoys other cats.  Penne lives in the master bedroom with his foster parents, and will cuddle in bed with them every night.  He likes to play with his siblings and their toys, but his favorite toy is a wadded up sock!  Penne and his siblings ORZO and ZITI were dropped off in a box—wet, cold, and hungry.  Penne was immediately friendly and purring. This sweet boy has been through a lot, and deserves a loving forever family to call his own. PENNE has been neutered, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet PENNE at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.  The $155 adoption fee ($280/2 teenagers) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Story
**Sweet- Bashful - Beautiful** Max is a hunky 2 year old male and Dory is a petite 4 year old female. While in foster, they were very active from 10 pm to 6 am each night. They ate, played, looked out the window, and hung out in the cat tree. When daylight comes, they like to find a dark place to nap the day away. If you work swing or night shift and are looking for daytime sleeping snuggle bugs, these two are perfect. Max loves batting the ball around in the tower of balls toy and stalking toys through his crinkle tunnel. Dory loves cat nip and will spend quite a bit of time with the Halloween themed kicker toy in the room. She will also chase after a wand toy with feathers. Max is a skilled jumper, so would probably check out higher places and then once investigated he loses interest. Both like to be groomed with a brush, and start purring when their cheeks and chin are scratched. Initially, Max is the more outgoing of the two and will seek out pets and attention. Dory is more cautious, but is very gentle and friendly when being picked up. She will hang out on your lap for a little while and get pets, but then wants to explore the environment. (smj 5/25) Dory and Max are a bonded pair and looking for a home where they can stay together. Their combined adoption fee is $200 (includes a $50 discount for the pair). For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org.HOW TO MEET ME: These kitties are currently in a foster home. To start the adoption process for them, please APPLY ONLINE — applications are reviewed in the order received. After you apply, we may contact you to schedule a virtual or in-person meet-and-greet at the foster parent's residence.. If you then decide to adopt, you'll complete an adoption counseling session and we'll schedule a pickup appointment. Adoption pick-ups may happen from the foster's residence. **Hunky - Glorious - Sweet** (fk 4/25)Max is here with his very special friend Dory, and they are looking for a home where they can be together. If you're looking for a few new best friends, they may be just the pair for you. These two are totally in love and devoted to each other, and it makes it fun to watch their interactions. Max is friendly, but can be a little shy and needs some time to relax and open up. (SF 04/25)While in foster, they were very active from 10 pm to 6 am each night. The foster home where they were is quiet and there were no dogs or children. Unexpected or louder noises - trash truck or school busses - seem to scare them and they retreat to a "safe" area. A few moments later and they emerge and continue to engage with people or each other. Story
!!-I come as a pair with my brother Slick-!! Rescued from a neglect situation. He is just about 1 year old. He is very food driven, you'll be his best friend if he sees you with his treats. He is a bit over weight because of his love for food, not horribly but a diet is something we have recently started. He is not a fan.. He loves to talk, and is very good at holding a conversation. Being near your side napping is his favorite pass time, and a good petting would top it off for sure. Ohh and i almost forgot the most exciting thing he has ever seen.. The lazer pointer. He will do anything to ensure he figures out where it comes from one day.

Story
Hello, I'm Maggi. I'm a bit shy, but don't let that deter you. I'm friendly and gentle too. I may take a little time to warm up to you, but once I do, I'll be your best friend. I love soft whispers and gentle strokes. My purrs are my way of saying thank you. I'm not much of a mischief-maker, but I do enjoy a good play session with a ball of yarn. I'm also quite content to just sit by your side, enjoying your company. I believe every home needs a quiet, loving soul like me. I can't wait to bring a touch of calm and a whole lot of love to your life.If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm.If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
