Story
Meet Calypso, A stunning young medium-haired calico with a personality as vibrant as her coat. With her striking colors and confident presence, she’s the kind of cat who naturally stands out in any room.Calypso is independent and knows exactly what she likes. She enjoys affection on her own terms and will happily spend time near her people, but she’s not the clingy type. She has a playful, energetic side and isn’t afraid to show it—her play style can be a bit rough, so she’ll do best with someone who understands and appreciates her spirited nature.Because of her strong personality, Calypso would thrive as the only cat in the home, as she prefers to be in charge of her space.Calypso is looking for a home that will respect her independence while giving her plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and shine. In return, you’ll get a beautiful, bold companion who brings character and charm in equal measure.*Calypso is being housed at Pet Barn pet store in Portland, where she can be visited anytime during their business hours!Adoption fee includes:✅ Spay/Neuter✅ Vaccines✅ Microchip✅ Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Calypso?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMay 17, 2026, 7:43 am

Story
Bean is the world’s best- he is just looking for love all the time. His older sister is mean and stresses him out- I want him to be in a safe, happy place. I don’t want any money for him. I will send food. I will do whatever. I am just sad to let him go, but I want him to have a better life. He has a peeing problem- he pees on soft things on the ground. If nothing is on the ground, you’re in the clear. I think single pet occupancy would be best because I don’t know if it’s my other cat or him that is so stressed out.

Story
What my friends at OHS say about me:I am a sweet and sensitive lady who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.I enjoy gentle pets, yummy treats, and quiet afternoons lounging in the sun.I should be pursuing a career in cat modeling, but instead I'm just looking for a nice family to call my own.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am declawed and will need to live indoors only!Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. Handling Sensitivity: I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home. The type of home I'm looking for:I may do best with an owner who has had experience owning or caring for shy and fearful cats.I need a home without cats or other small animals. It could be with you!
