Hi, my name is Sugar! I’m available for adoption as a bonded pair with my sibling, Cinnamon! Please read the questions and answers about us both to learn more. If we sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet us! Do you like other cats? I love my sibling, Cinnamon and need to go home with them! What do you think about living with a dog? Unknown, I would probably do best in a home without a dog.How do you feel about kids? I would do best in an adult only home. What was your previous home like? I lived indoors with my sibling Cinnamon and we were very loved. What’s your ideal home like? A calm and quiet home where Cinnamon and I can be together. Is there anything else we should know about you? I need to go home with Cinnamon and Ask Cattery staff about my medical release.

I’m available for adoption! Come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats? I should do well with another cat after a slow introduction period! What do you think about living with a dog? I would probably be able to adjust to living with a cat savvy dog after a slow introduction period. How do you feel about kids? I am very shy; kids can be a bit scary to me (loud noises/fast movements are very scary to me)! I need to go to a home with older cat savvy teens or no kids. What`s your ideal home like? I am looking for someone that has experience with shy/undersocialized cats and that will be understanding that I am shy and will need more time than a typical kitten to adjust to my new home! A calm quiet household would be best for me with no children. Since I am a kitten I have lots of energy and will require lots of play time! It would also be ideal if there was another kitten or young playful cat in the home to insure that I learn appropriate cat manners! Is there anything else we should know about you? I`m a very cute kitten! I would do best in a home with active/healthy adults who will be able to get down on the floor with me multiple times a day.

Story
Ariel and her daughter Amelia are a stunning tabby pair with a special bond — one that’s a little more “roommates who respect each other’s space” than “attached at the hip.” They’re both affectionate, playful, and curious. They are confident and enjoy meeting new people. While they sometimes bicker like family members do, they’re learning to share space and comfort. Just recently, they started sleeping on the same bed together with their humans— a big milestone for these two independent spirits! * * Ariel & Amelia must be adopted together. * * Mama Ariel is gentle, thoughtful, and affectionate on her own terms. She enjoys being held over your shoulder, especially when she’s feeling social, and she’s known to meow for attention at bedtime before hopping up for pets and play. Her amber eyes and darker tabby markings make her look especially elegant in a patch of sunlight, where she loves to lounge. Daughter Amelia is the more assertive of the two — a curious, confident girl who likes to climb right into your lap or claim your desk chair as her own. She’s affectionate, playful, and a little mischievous, with striking greenish eyes and a sleek tabby coat. Ariel and Amelia enjoy each other’s company most when they can do their own thing nearby — playing, napping, or watching the world go by from opposite ends of the couch. They’re a wonderful pair for someone who appreciates cats with personality, independence, and just a touch of sass. Ariel is about 2 years old, and her daughter Amelia is about 1 year old. They have been spayed, microchipped, and are up to date on vaccines. They tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $150 for both. If you are interested in meeting Ariel & Amelia please complete the adoption interest form on our website (www.pdx-petadoption.org) and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark. Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering our pets for adoption.
