Story
Nova is a beautiful 2.5-year-old girl who has already done one of the hardest jobs there is—being a mama. She’s spent much of her young life raising kittens, and now that her mom duties are finally behind her, Nova is ready for something she’s never really had: a forever home of her very own. She’s friendly, affectionate, and absolutely loves attention from her people. Nova is gentle, loving, and happiest when she’s being doted on and reminded that she’s safe and cared for. She’s ready to trade motherhood for a life of naps, cuddles, and being someone’s special girl. Nova is looking for a fresh start where she can relax, be spoiled, and finally be the center of attention—exactly as she deserves. 💜🐾 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. Meet Lery! This 8-month-old bundle of energy is all about fun, games, and being delightfully goofy. He’s curious, playful, and always finding new ways to entertain himself—whether that’s zooming around the room, pouncing on toys, or inventing his own games. Lery gets along great with other cats and would love to be adopted with one of his brothers or buddies—Bugsy, Ralphie, Laurie, or Ripley. If that’s not possible, he’ll also thrive in a home that already has another friendly feline to pal around with. With his happy attitude and silly antics, Lery is guaranteed to keep you smiling and your home full of life. 😸🎉 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! Story
Petite Penny is just over a year old and as delicate as she is darling. She’s a very sweet girl who prefers to take things at her own pace, especially when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar places. Loud noises can make her a bit nervous, but with patience and a calm environment, Penny’s affectionate side shines through. She would do best in a quiet, loving home where she’s given time to settle in and feel safe. Penny would also enjoy having another friendly, respectful cat to keep her company and help her feel more confident. Once she warms up, she’s a gentle, loving companion who will reward your patience with trust and soft affection. 🐾💜 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! Good with cats,
Story
Hello, I'm Hermey! I'm a young gentleman, about a year and a half old, and I'd like to file a formal complaint; my people moved away and left me behind, with the door open! The nerve! I stayed put like any respectable cat would, guarding my home from whatever riffraff might wander in. Eventually, a nice ACO came along and called to me kindly and convinced me it was safe to come on out. I was a bit shy at first but, once I realized I was in good hands, my sweet side showed right up. Now, I am a total love and roll over for pets and I enjoy attention. I do love hanging out with my people! If you are seeing me for a second time, I recently came back to PAC, my family loved me and loves me but their allergies were just too much. Please adopt me so I can let them know I am alright!

Meet Petunia! Adoption fee: $249 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 It was a busy day at a local warehouse when an employee heard the softest little mews coming from inside a stack of pallets. When they looked closer, they found not one, not two… but NINE kittens tucked safely inside! They immediately called our rescue for help, and we brought all these little ones to safety. These kittens appear to be three small groups, likely born at different times, but all found together in the pallets. They’re all healthy, thriving, and absolutely adorable. We have all different colors and personalities—something for everyone! These sweethearts can be adopted in pairs, and we’re happy to help you choose the perfect match based on age, personality, and what you’re looking for. If you’re ready to add a pair of warehouse-cuties to your family, reach out to us! We’d love to tell you more about each one and help you find your perfect kittens. They would thrive in homes where they’ll get plenty of love, attention, and companionship. Adopting in pairs is highly encouraged so they’ll always have a buddy to play and snuggle with, but they can also be adopted individually to a home with another friendly cat. Apply today to give one (or more!) of these sweethearts the forever family they deserve. Fill out an application today and bring home your new best friend—or adopt a pair for double the love! We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. We have many adorable kittens to choose from—click our Petfinder link to see the full lineup and find your perfect match: https://www.petfinder.com/search/pets-for-adoption/?shelter_id%5B0%5D=AL450&sort%5B0%5D=recently_added We would love to see these kittens adopted in pairs, as they’re closely bonded and would thrive with a sibling by their side. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21
