☠🏴 Ahoy, Meet Captain Hook! ☠🏴 Captain Hook is a 2-year-old bundle of sunshine ready to set sail for all his 10 lives with you! This friendly, sociable and silly pirate enjoys spending his days in the crows nest (cat condo) watching the mini outdoor seagulls and observing the indoor shipmates who ensure his food bowl, and heart, are full. Don't let the pirate name fool you, Captain Hook is a lovable lap cat who loves brushing and spending time with his special people. If he's not by your side, you can find him napping in the sunbeams, chasing his toys, or simply investigating (and potentially stealing) what you have on your dinner plate. He gets along with everyone he meets, and has earned the rank of CATalyst cat!Captain Hook is ready to sail away on his next adventure and hopes it will be together!*You can meet Captain Hook at PetSmart in Warwick today. Please avoid phone calls to the store, our team at Ten Lives is the best source to answer any questions you have.___________________________CATalyst cats:At Ten Lives, we believe in saving the most at-risk cats of our community. Many times, these cats require extraordinary medical care and extensive stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other cats who are in high demand–such cats aid us in catalyzing change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!Thank you for allowing us to continue our life-saving work!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
