Story
Meet Percy, a handsome 6-year-old gentleman who’s blossomed into a loving, loyal companion. Once a shy guy, Percy has really come out of his shell and now enjoys cuddles, cheek scratches, cozy naps, and window bird-watching sessions. He’s a mellow lap cat who just needed time to feel safe—and now he soaks up affection from his favorite human like a pro!Percy would love to be the only feline in a quiet home where he can be the center of attention. He might be okay with a calm, respectful dog after a slow introduction, and he’d do best with kids 12+ who understand gentle boundaries.Food is the way to Percy’s heart—he’s a big fan of Friskies wet food and Churu treats! With a little patience and a lot of love, Percy will reward you with endless snuggles and sweet companionship. Ready to meet your new best friend?___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
