Story
Sire is a Leo, born 7/25/2022. I’ve had him since he was just a month or 2 old. He’s a big boy now, about 15 pounds. He’s always been an indoor cat. He’s actually afraid of the outside. He also doesn’t do well with strangers (he hides & will not come out until they are gone) which is part of the reason why I have kept him for so long. I worry he won’t adjust easily to a new home. However, I work 6/7 days a week, mornings and late nights so he’s alone most of the time and always waiting by the door crying for me when I get home. He needs a home where he will have companionship and unfortunately I have not been able to provide that in a couple years now.

Story
Meet Moby! Moby is a very affectionate gentleman who loves attention from his people. As soon as he sees someone at his kennel, he comes right up to the glass looking for affection. Open his cubby, and he’ll happily offer his head for pets! If you’re looking for a cat who truly enjoys being loved, Moby may be your guy. Moby also seems very interested in exploring, so he may be happiest with a dedicated room or space where he can safely stretch his legs, climb, and get comfortable while he settles in. Moby does have diabetes and requires insulin, so his new family will need to be prepared to work closely with a veterinarian to establish an appropriate treatment and monitoring plan. Because of his medical condition, treats should only be given as recommended by his veterinary team. Moby previously lived with other cats, but he began having conflicts with them while he was experiencing medical difficulties. For that reason, he may be happiest as the only cat in his home, which would also make managing his diet and diabetes easier. Since he was successful with other cats in the past, he may be able to warm up to a calm companion with a slow and controlled introduction. Despite everything he’s been through, Moby is still eager to connect with people and soak up affection. He’s looking for a patient, caring home that can give him the medical support he needs—and plenty of head scratches along the way. If you are interested in Moby, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Story
Meet Truffle! A friendly and affectionate cat looking for a loving home to call his own! Truffle is a social guy who enjoys attention from his people and is always happy to soak up some affection. He has a sweet personality and a playful side, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a cat who can be both loving and fun. Truffle has lived successfully with a dog and enjoyed playing with his canine companion. He may also be a good match for a home with cats and older, cat-savvy children. As with any new relationship, slow and thoughtful introductions to resident pets will help everyone settle in comfortably. Truffle has occasionally experienced accidents outside of the litter box. His previous family felt this may have been connected to having a high traffic environment. A quieter home with a patient family willing to give him time to adjust would be ideal. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate, and playful companion who is ready for a fresh start, Truffle could be the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested in Truffle, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time.
