Story
Just under 3 years old, Lazlo is the purrfect combination of energetic orange mischief and irresistible cuteness. Bird watching? Check. Climbing to physics-defying heights? Check. Staring into your soul while plotting his next adorable move? Absolutely.Lazlo is affectionate, playful, and always down for a good wand toy session. His favorite toy is "Da Bird," and no day feels complete without a good chase. He may or may not believe your houseplants are part of a secret jungle mission. He’s easygoing and could potentially vibe with another feline friend—with proper introductions, of course.Lazlo is on a prescription urinary diet to keep him happy and healthy! This is the only food he should eat.So if you’re ready for a little chaos, a lot of love, and a lifetime of laughs, Lazlo’s your guy.___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
🖤 Meet Ashen — a soul as gentle as his heart 🖤Ashen is a stunning panther estimated to be around 13.5 years old who is looking for a soft spot to land in his golden years. With an adorable white patch on his chest and thoughtful eyes, he is an affectionate and gentle boy who brings calm and comfort to those around him.Ashen enjoys the simple things in life — long catnaps, a full bowl of food, and love from his human. After too many years outside, he’s ready to relax indoors, watching the birds and daily soap operas with someone special. Even at 13, he still enjoys wand toys and a little catnip as part of his peaceful routine.Ashen is looking for a home where he can receive plenty of love and pets while living his best, coziest life. He is currently eating a prescription kidney-support diet and is doing well on it. He has also recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and has started medication. He is hard of hearing, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from knowing when the squirrels are rustlin’ outside his window. Ashen has a few age-related health items that will need ongoing monitoring, including blood pressure, a mild heart murmur, and dental care down the road, but these will be managed as part of his routine veterinary care after adoption. In return, he offers soft purrs, gentle companionship, and the sweetest wet nose boops. If you’re ready to give this lovable senior the comfortable, loving home he deserves, please fill out an application today. 🖤___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Howie is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt, which allows you to bring him home on a trial basis before finalizing. Foster-to-adopt is limited to Rhode Island residents due to state regulations.👨‍🍳 Meet Howie — an aspiring purrsonal chef in urgent need of a Foster-to-Adopt home! 👨‍🍳Howie’s current foster can no longer keep him, and this orange + white foodie needs a new kitchen to supervise ASAP 🧡2-year-old Howie has surveillance ears that can detect food from a mile away. If you’re cooking, he’s involved. If you’re eating, he’s definitely involved. He’s just trying to perfect his secret recipes, obviously.Aside from his culinary ambitions, Howie loves hanging in his cat condo, bird-watching, and diving into playtime with his favorite toys. He’s an outgoing, silly guy who thrives when his brain is busy, so think play sessions, food puzzles, and anything that keeps him engaged. Keep him entertained and you’ll see his best (and funniest) self. He’s also your classic “dog-like” cat. He’ll follow you from room to room, supervise your daily routine, and make sure nothing happens without his approval.Because Howie is a high-energy boy (orange cat energy is real), he’s needed a little extra support. He’s currently on gabapentin and will be starting kitty Prozac to help him settle and succeed long-term. With the right home, he has so much potential to truly thrive.Howie is looking for:• A home where he can be the only pet (head chef only, please)• Older kids who understand his big personality• Someone who appreciates a cat with energy, opinions, and a lot of love to giveIn return, you’ll get a lovable, hilarious best friend who will sit on your lap, enjoy a good brushing session, and slow blink his love at you in the cutest way possible 💛Howie is a recipe for fun… he just needs a place to land. Please apply to adopt Howie on our website to be considered for foster-to-adopt!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
🐾 Meet Lothar! 🐾Lothar is a 2-year-old bundle of cuteness officially on the adoption scene! Lothar arrived to Ten Lives nervous and shy, working through trust issues and unsure of what to come. We've promised him nothing but love and lots of playtime, and he has been getting more confident by the day. Once he settles in, Lothar enjoys being pet and likes to play. He may spend some time in a cat tunnel or somewhere else that he feels safe in, but will gradually, but slowly, start to come out to explore. He would do best with someone that is patient and understanding that he might take time to build trust and warm up to them. Lothar loves to eat, it's probably his favorite past time, so he can be won over with treats, especially squeeze treats. He gets along with other cats and would benefit from having a friendly feline companion to continue to show him the ropes. If you think you could be Lothar's match, please fill out an application today!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Ideal Home: Quiet, patient, and with a confident feline friendPersonality: Shy Soul • Playful HeartMeet Aggie 💛At just 1, almost 2 year old, this soft-eyed beauty has officially been in our care for 486 days — patiently waiting for someone to see the magic in her gentle heart.Aggie is a quiet observer by day, happiest tucked into a cozy nook or peeking out from behind a curtain while she takes in the world around her. She’s still learning that indoor life is safe and that humans can be trusted. But when the lights go out? That’s her time to shine. 🌙 Once the house is asleep, Aggie lets loose — zooming, pouncing, and joyfully tossing her toys like the playful kitten she truly is.Aggie will thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that trust is built slowly. She doesn’t need perfection — just patience. A friendly, confident cat companion is a must for her. Another kitty helps her feel safe and shows her that humans = warmth, love, and reliable treat service. She’s available for regular adoption or a foster-to-adopt placement giving her (and you) the chance to build that bond at her pace.If you believe the quiet ones are worth the wait, Aggie just might be your girl. 💕 Fill out an application and come meet this shy sweetheart.___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Meet Winifred 💙Winifred is a truly special boy with a story that makes his transformation all the more incredible. At around two years old, this handsome, likely Siamese mix came from a large-scale hoarding situation, but you would never guess it when you see how far he has come in foster care. These days, Winifred is all about the simple joys. He loves wand toys and will happily chase them around with enthusiasm, bats his favorite little balls across the room, and never says no to a squeeze treat. He is also a sweet and chatty companion. He enjoys being pet and will softly “talk” to his foster mom to ask for attention or share his thoughts on the day.Winifred is looking for a home that understands that the best relationships take time to build. While he has made amazing progress, he can be a sensitive soul and will thrive with an adopter who is patient, observant, and willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his affectionate and playful personality really shines.Winifred is currently housed with his sister, Tiptoe, who is still building her confidence. While Tiptoe is not quite ready for adoption on her own yet, she does take comfort in Winifred and follows his lead. For a patient and understanding home, we would consider placing them together, as Winifred helps her feel safe and continue to grow.Due to his sensitive nature, he will do best with a slow, thoughtful introduction to another cat. We are unsure how he feels about dogs at this time. Because he appreciates a quieter environment, we think he would do best in a home with kids 7+ who can respect his space as he adjusts.Winifred is not just looking for any home. He is looking for the right one. Someone who sees how special he is and is excited to give him the time and understanding he needs to fully blossom. In return, you will get to watch a truly beautiful bond grow with a one of a kind cat.If you believe in giving cats the space to become their best selves, Winifred might just be your perfect match 💛___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives!
