Story
Artemis is a 6 month old sweetheart who is gentle, curious, and full of charm. She may start off a bit shy, but once she feels settled and has a confident feline friend to guide her, she blossoms into the snuggliest little companion. She loves exploring, watching everything you do with wide, curious eyes, and rolling over to proudly show off her belly when she is feeling especially content. She is currently fostered alongside another young cat named Persephone, and they get along well, but they do not need to be adopted together. What truly helps Artemis thrive is having a friendly, confident cat in her new home who can show her the ropes.Artemis would likely do well with respectful kids 5 plus and dogs with proper introductions, but she has not formally met either. If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who just needs a bit of reassurance to shine, Artemis is ready to win your heart.*You can meet Artemis and other adoptable cats at PetSmart in Warwick today! Many times, these cats require extraordinary medical care and extensive stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other cats who are in high demand–such cats aid us in catalyzing change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!Thank you for allowing us to continue our life-saving work!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Meet Saoirse the 5 year old Highland Lynx. This bob tail, double pawed beauty is looking for a less stressful home. We took Saoirse in a little over a year ago to help someone who couldnt keep her due to allergies and we so badly wanted to keep her, however, she gets stressed out very easily and with many new changes at home- new baby, moving ect, we found she is no longer thriving as best as we would like. Saoirse is an amazing, loving, cuddly cat. She's very vocal! Because of her breed, she requires weekly ear cleanings and nail trimmings. Saoirse does great around our baby and other cats, however, she can get slightly aggressive with the other cats (we think dominance plays a part) and we see this more when she is stressed out. She loves pets and rubs but not on her belly or neck - she will gently bite to tell you "no more rubs thank you." Fully vetted, fixed and on monthly flea/heartguard medication. Please let me know if you think she is a good fit!
