Story
Artemis is a 6 month old sweetheart who is gentle, curious, and full of charm. She may start off a bit shy, but once she feels settled and has a confident feline friend to guide her, she blossoms into the snuggliest little companion. She loves exploring, watching everything you do with wide, curious eyes, and rolling over to proudly show off her belly when she is feeling especially content. She is currently fostered alongside another young cat named Persephone, and they get along well, but they do not need to be adopted together. What truly helps Artemis thrive is having a friendly, confident cat in her new home who can show her the ropes.Artemis would likely do well with respectful kids 5 plus and dogs with proper introductions, but she has not formally met either. If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who just needs a bit of reassurance to shine, Artemis is ready to win your heart.*You can meet Artemis and other adoptable cats at PetSmart in Warwick today! Please avoid phone calls to the store, our team at Ten Lives is the best source to answer any questions you have!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
