Story
Papillo was adopted as just a kitten from a big litter. He was the most playful and outgoing cat from the litter. He enjoys salmon treats and playing with toys that make noise or roll around. Napping all around the house is his specialty. He doesn’t like closed doors. Papillo is very verbal and will let you know how he feels. He had a sister named Penelope who he lived with and shared space till 2022. His owner developed asthma and severe allergies and Penelope was rehomed. Still looking for the right home to fit papillo.

Story
Snowdrop's adoption fee is sponsored for an approved adopter! Meet Snowdrop, the charming 7-year-old kitty with a heart as pure as her snowy white (and black!) fur. Snowdrop is seeking an adoptive home where she can share her boundless love and affection. Snowdrop's temperament is as sweet as can be. She adores snuggling up with her favorite blankies, indulging in delicious meals, and basking in grooming sessions Despite her special needs, including bladder and bowel expressions 2-3 times a day, Snowdrop's gentle nature and loving personality shine through. She thrives on routine care, including full or half baths with assistance using the litter box, and her area fur trim helps her stay clean and comfortable. Remarkably calm during face washes and nail trims, Snowdrop's purrs of contentment will melt your heart. Additionally, Snowdrop is on a prescription diet and medication for seizures three times a day.Snowdrop currently lives with other cats and does well, but she would also be perfectly content as the sole feline companion in your home. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loving companion, Snowdrop is eagerly waiting to become your forever snuggle buddy. We are dedicated to Snowdrop's success and want to ensure that she thrives in her adoptive home. She is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt! ___________________________Ten Lives’ Foster-to-Adopt program gives potential adopters the opportunity to interact and bond with a cat in a home setting prior to making a lifelong commitment. This program is a great way to see a cat’s true personality and watch how they integrate into your household. Please note, only cats listed as foster-to-adopt are eligible for this program. How does it work?Foster-to-Adopt applicants are approved through our normal adoption process and based on the specific needs of the cat. Once approved, you will bring home your new friend and have 30 days to determine whether they are a perfect fit for you and your family. During the 30-day foster-to-adopt period, you will be responsible for providing food and litter; however, Ten Lives will provide outstanding veterinary care at a partner veterinarian. Please note: Ten Lives will not cover care provided by a non-partner veterinarian. Please take this into consideration when submitting a foster-to-adopt application. At the end of the 30 days, you can make the adoption official by signing an adoption agreement and paying the adoption fee or you can return the cat to the care of Ten Lives. If you wish to continue fostering until adoption, Ten Lives will list the cat for adoption on their website and social media pages! Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in fostering-to-adopt from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/foster-to-adopt/___________________________ABOUT TEN LIVES:Ten Lives is a foster-based program and does NOT have a brick and mortar facility with regular visiting hours. We are a 100% volunteer-powered organization and require an approved adoption application prior to scheduling meet and greets with animals. This is out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, as well as helping to ensure our animals are matched to the homes that best meet their needs. We require that all applicants have a satisfactory veterinary reference and provide proof of homeownership OR landlords approval. We will contact all applicants who meet our minimum requirements within 96 business hours of receiving your application. During kitten season wait times may be longer. We ask for your patience as we are all volunteers! All Ten Lives cats are spayed/neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Comet here, and I'm a dapper boy just under 6 years old who is on the hunt for a sunny spot to call home this spring and summer! I'm a joyful panther who thrives on spending quality time with my humans, especially when there's playtime involved. Whether it's chasing after toys or indulging in some catnip fun, count me in!Now, here's a little backstory about me: I came to Ten Lives after facing multiple urinary blockages, which led to a successful PU surgery – a procedure aimed at reducing the risk of future blockages. Since then, I've been doing great and haven't had any blockages! However, to keep me in tip-top shape, I'm on a special prescription urinary diet. It's essential that I stick to this diet to maintain my health, as I'm still prone to UTIs and may require additional vet visits when these occur. Despite these considerations, I'm a loving and affectionate companion who's ready to be your one and only feline friend, though I love kids and dogs! My pals at Ten Lives have been amazing in taking care of me, and I'm forever grateful. They can provide all the details about my special diet and medical needs when you inquire about adopting me. Together, we can make every day feel like a sunny adventure! And guess what? My adoption fee is is sponsored! I am now accepting adoption applications, available below!Have questions about PU surgery? Story
Hi there, I have a question for you! Where does the black cat go when she loses a tail? A re-tail store! Michelina here, and I am full of fun jokes that we can share over tuna treats. I am just 3 years old and enjoy the luxuries of a quiet home with cozy beds and a cat tower to survey on. Oh, and scratchy towers too, they're the cat's meow. I love to explore and play with catnip toys, and when I'm not doing all of these things I'm usually on the prowl for my delicious wet foods. When we first meet I will be shy at first, but don't worry- I come out of my shell and will show my calm, gentle and independent panther self. Let's take it slow and we'll be best friends once we get comfy. I might even enjoy a kitty-companion to hang out with. So what do you say, think we could be a match? I'll wait here while you fill out an application. See you soon!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Penguin here, and I am a handsome fella just under 3 years old who enjoys playtime with my favorite feather wand and delightful catnip mice! I am looking for a laid back home with another friendly kitty to keep me company and show me the ropes. I'm looking for a home with a special someone who is willing to take things slow as I'm still working on my socialization. Since I arrived to Ten Lives, I've made some great progress. In fact, I've really been blossoming and showing how silly and playful I am! My other hobbies include climbing high where I can su-purrvise, enjoying some catnip here and there, and trying to figure out these fun food puzzles! Got some time? Spend it with me and we will work on my awesomeness together!I am now accepting adoption applications, available below!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Meow there, my name is Ace and I'm a handsome 1 year old happy boy ready for my next adventure! I enjoy hanging out with people and would love to spend my day just being with you and casually placing a Chewy order for a snack delivery, or two! I'm kind of new here so my foster human is learning about my each day, but so far I've shown that I am a well behaved, affectionate boy who is sure to make a great companion. I'm really excited to meet my forever person, perhaps that is you? Let's learn more about each other, together! I am now accepting applications, available below!Ace has a heart murmur that requires no additional medication or testing at this time, but it should be monitored annually.___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives!
