Meet Tiptoe 💫True to her name, Tiptoe moves through the world slowly, carefully, and on her own terms.Tiptoe came from a home with more than 100 cats, where she didn’t have the chance to learn that humans can be safe, kind, and predictable. Because of that, she is an incredibly sensitive and shy girl who is still figuring out how to trust.Right now, Tiptoe prefers the comfort of her hidey spots, where she can observe the world from a safe distance. But she is making progress. She will venture out for her favorite things, especially food. Churu is the way to her heart. She has even come out for short play sessions with a wand toy when she is feeling brave.One of the sweetest glimpses into her personality happens when the humans step away. She will relax enough to cuddle up on the couch with her brother, Winifred. In a quieter home with more space and time, we believe we will see more of this softer side.Tiptoe is not a cat who will seek out attention or ask to be pet right now. She may not for a long time, and that is okay. What she needs is an adopter who truly understands shy cats and is willing to meet her where she is. Someone patient, gentle, and committed to letting her move at her own pace without expectations.With time, consistency, and a steady supply of Churu, we are hopeful Tiptoe will continue to build confidence and trust. 🐾 Meet Lothar! 🐾Lothar is a 2-year-old bundle of cuteness officially on the adoption scene! Lothar arrived to Ten Lives nervous and shy, working through trust issues and unsure of what to come. We've promised him nothing but love and lots of playtime, and he has been getting more confident by the day. Once he settles in,  Lothar loves being pet and will give you gentle headbutts for kisses. He may spend some time in a cat tunnel or somewhere else that he feels safe in, but will gradually, but slowly, start to come out to explore. Lothar loves to eat, it's probably his favorite past time, so he can be won over with treats, especially squeeze treats. 🌲 Meet Ernest! 🌲Affectionately known as Ernest Leonard Toes, this 4-year-old sweet boy  is an absolute sweetheart! All he wants is love, food, pets, and more love! He is extremely affectionate and is always giving adorable headbutts in hopes of getting chin scritches and endless attention. He's a gentle giant who just wants to be with his person.Ernest's other hobbies include playtime, especially with his wand toy, and recharging in the warm sunbeams while dreaming of catnip lollipops and other delicious treats. 10-month-old Agnes is ready to light up your life! This special girl is looking for an equally special person to spend all her days with. Agnes has been making progress but is still a shy girl who will need a calm, gentle routine to keep that confidence building. She can never say no to a squeeze up treat on a spoon, and is showing that playful side with her fishing pole toy! Agnes will do best in a patient home that will give her the time and hidey spots she needs to observe from a distance and get comfy. She gets along with other kitties but has not been tested with dogs. Young children are likely not a good match given her reserved personality.
