Story
Sugar is a loving cat, he will turn 2 years old in October, he likes to stand at the window to observe and he sleep in the day and at night he is awake, he knows how to use his sand for both needs, he does not like noise very much and he has never left the house, he loves to be scratched near his moustache and belly, I am giving it up for adoption because my sister-in-law came out allergic to cats during her pregnancy and I have nowhere to shrubble it, I would like him to find a home that gives him as much love as we do.

Story
As part of our special “Survivor 50” group, these two boys came to us from a home with over 100 cats. Despite their difficult start, they’ve made incredible progress and are ready to find a patient home where they can continue to grow together. Boston Rob and Colby are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Their friendship has been a huge part of their journey, and we've seen firsthand how much confidence they give one another. In fact, since Colby joined us, Boston Rob has become noticeably braver and more comfortable around people. Colby is the social butterfly of the Survivor group and has truly embraced the good life. Once he settles in, he absolutely loves attention from his people. He enjoys pets, seeks out companionship, and is a playful, affectionate boy with a sweet and silly side. Whether he's chasing toys or soaking up attention, Colby is always happy to be part of the action. Boston Rob is still building confidence, but he's making progress every day. While he's not quite ready for hands-on affection, he's become very interested in spending time near people—especially when food is involved! This handsome guy has earned a reputation as a foodie and has recently started coming up to greet us at breakfast time. Watching him make these small but meaningful steps has been incredibly rewarding, and we know he'll continue to blossom in a home where he feels safe. Because they came from a hoarding situation, both boys will need adopters who understand that transitions take time. They're looking for a calm, patient home that will allow them to settle in at their own pace and continue building trust. The reward will be watching two deserving cats discover just how wonderful life can be. Story
Meet Rick Devins & Christian 🐾 Part of our special “Survivor 50” group, Rick Devins and Christian have an incredible story of resilience. They came to us from a home with over 100 cats and have been slowly learning what it means to feel safe and cared for. Now, they’re ready to begin their next chapter—together. These two are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted into the same home. They lean on each other for comfort and confidence, often sticking close together as they navigate new experiences. While they’ve made wonderful progress since arriving, they’re still shy with people and will need a patient, understanding family willing to let them settle in at their own pace. Coming from a hoarding situation means the world can still feel a little overwhelming at times. A calm, quiet home with cat-savvy adopters will help them continue building trust and confidence. With time, routine, and gentle encouragement, Rick Devins and Christian have so much potential to grow into loving companions. If you have room in your heart for two cats who just need a little extra patience and kindness, this sweet duo may be the perfect fit for your home. For more information or to set up a meet-and-greet, please email hmaclellan@parl.org and fill out an adopter profile on our website.

Story
Goldie is just beginning her next chapter and is still figuring out what shelter life is all about. New places and new faces can be a little overwhelming at first, so she may start out on the quiet side. Give her a little time, though, and you'll likely find a cat who settles in quickly and becomes a comfortable part of your daily routine. Goldie could fit well into many different homes, including those with other pets and cat-savvy children who understand that trust takes time to build. She's looking for a family willing to let her adjust at her own pace and discover that home is a pretty great place to be. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours!
