Story
Pickles is a sweet and charming three y/o lil gentleman. He used to be barncat and while not feral, is very skittish. But with a gentle touch, he'll show you all the love and charm he has to offer. He loves to be pet, held, and cuddled. Also has serious doll eyes. You can just pick just him up and show him whatever. Emily's laders. This guy has been my lil dude for the last year. I'm blessed to have adopted him and have also realized he needs much more attention and stimulation than I have capacity for at the moment. He will come with his automatic food and water dispensers.

Story
Meet Gracie 👑 Gracie is a 14-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves to share her opinions—especially when it’s breakfast or dinner time! If you enjoy a chatty companion who will happily keep you company, Gracie will fit right in. This lovely senior would do well in a calm home, and may be okay with cat-savvy children who understand and respect feline boundaries. Gracie prefers to be the queen bee, so a home without other pets is ideal for her to feel secure and confident. Gracie is currently available through our Special Medical / Hospice Adoption program. She has several age-related conditions, including hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and dental disease. She is medically stable and receiving ongoing care, including medication for her thyroid and a prescription renal diet to support her kidney health. With close partnership with a veterinarian and thoughtful monitoring, many cats like Gracie can continue to enjoy comfort and a good quality of life. While her lifespan may be more limited due to her chronic conditions, Gracie has so much love left to give. She would thrive in a peaceful, supportive home with adopters who are comfortable providing ongoing medical care, regular check-ins with a vet, and—most importantly—lots of affection. If you’re looking to make a meaningful difference in a senior cat’s life and are ready to open your heart to a special soul, Gracie would love nothing more than to spend her golden years cherished and adored. 💕 Gracie is in our special medical adoption program. If you are interested in meeting her, please complete an adopter’s profile at parl.org and email clinic@parl.org to set up a meet and greet.

Story
Meet Luke, a very sweet but shy boy who is looking for a patient and understanding home. Luke has had a difficult time adjusting to shelter life and can be fearful in new or busy environments. Because of this, he will need extra time and a slow, gentle transition into his new home. It’s very important that his adopters understand that trust will not happen overnight. Luke will thrive with calm energy, predictable routines, and people who are willing to let him move at his own pace. Luke has no known experience with children or other animals. Due to his shy and sensitive nature, any introductions to new people & children or other pets must be done very slowly and thoughtfully. Once he feels safe, Luke is truly a sweet and loving boy. He just needs time, patience, and reassurance to show his affectionate side. With a compassionate family who understands that adjustment can take some time, Luke has so much love to give. If you’re willing to go slow and give him the space he needs to blossom, Luke will be a deeply rewarding companion. ⭐ If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours! ⭐

Story
Meet this precious bonded pair! Ozzy and Sharon are an incredibly special, deeply bonded pair who must stay together. Ozzy is the picture perfect kitten, sweet, affectionate, playful $ endlessly charming. He adores people, loves interactive play and brings out the very best in his best friend, Sharon. These two are truly inseparable and thrive in each other’s company. Sharon is a wonderful, loving cat with a gentle spirit, but she does have ongoing medical needs that require a committed, medically cat savvy adopter. She is mostly blind and has underlying neurological issues that will require consistent monitoring, frequent veterinary care and a home that is dedicated to maintaining her health, comfort, and quality of life. It is absolutely essential that her adopter is prepared for long term medical management and understands the importance of regular vet visits. Sharon has a medical disclaimer that must be thoroughly reviewed before adoption, and she will also need both a clinic counseling and a veterinary counseling session prior to going home. We want to ensure that her next family fully understands her needs and is able to support her so she continues to live a safe, happy, and healthy life, exactly what she deserves. Ozzy and Sharon can do well with cat savvy children and mellow, cat savvy dogs. They are also good with other cats. As with all multi pet households, slow and patient introductions are necessary. These two are absolutely amazing cats with a once in a-lifetime bond. They bring out the best in each other, and with the right adopter-someone dedicated, patient, and medically knowledgeable, Sharon and Ozzy will continue to flourish. They are ready for a home that understands their unique needs and will cherish them both forever. ⭐ If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours! ⭐
