Story
MEET OLIVER!Oliver is a 4 year old jokester with SO MUCH to say! Oliver has the funniest monotone meow - think Gary from Spongebob, but even cuter because he is genuinely excited to talk to you. He also is kind of a neat freak and will groom our staff and volunteers almost as if to say `When was the last time you showered? You smell like an animal shelter!` Thanks, Oliver...Oli is a pretty laid back and chill guy who enjoys playing for a little, but would much prefer to patrol the premises and make sure everything is tidy and where it`s supposed to be. He isn`t really the clingy type - though he loves attention, getting scratched, and casual conversation, Oliver has a job to do and it is something he takes very seriously. He WILL however give you kisses right on your lips if you allow him (and yes... we do.) His love language is keeping the household together through vigilant security and moderated affection - come on, what more could you ask for?We do suspect that Oliver has hyperesthesia, which could be triggered by stress. We started him on a course of medicine once a day, which he happily takes in his food, and it`s been smooth sailing since with no issues! Although Oliver is FIV+, he can live a happy, healthy, normal life as long as he is kept indoors only and stays up to date with his vet, just like any other kitty!Oliver is neutered and up to date on vaccines and prevention. If you`re looking for someone who would love to bring some comfort and order to your life, you`ll have to meet Oliver!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
MEET FRECKLES!3 year old Freckles is everything you could want in a kitty - he is affectionate, goofy, playful, and SO handsome! This boy is the purr-fect mix of a lovable snugglebug and fetch partner, all rolled into one speckled bundle of floof!Freckles is SO perfect that he will be the only cat you need, which he considers a requirement. While we think he might react differently in a home environment, Freckles has not been a fan of the other kitties here at the shelter and does not care to share the affection that should obviously be solely given to him. We can`t blame the guy - he wants to be the ONLY center of your universe and we think he deserves that title.Freckles is up to date on vaccines, neutered, current on prevention, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. All he needs now is a bed (your bed) to snuggle in!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
MEET HANNAH!Hannah is a 10 month old social butterfly with the cutest little chirps and the most love-filled energy. After arriving at our shelter with her siblings, Hannah blossomed from a scared kitten into the wonderful, affectionate, and bright-eyed girl we know now! With some TLC and quality time, her personality is now in full-force and her happiness is contagious! Hannah is a huge fan of other cats and was previously co-housed with several of her siblings. She would easily fit into a home with an existing kitty, or would be perfectly content as your one and only BFF! Hannah is the perfect mishmash of personality - she is both playful and cuddly, super snuggly and spry, and is excited to chase around a feather toy, but also totally down for a night on the couch! We can`t stress this enough - Hannah is the cat you need if you just want someone to share your home with. If you want to play, she will play until one of you gets bored. If you need a serotonin boost, she will be your personal soft blanket of purrs. She is perfection in an adorable white and tabby package!Hannah is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. All she needs is you!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. MEET CHUCK!Chuck is an all-around good boy looking for his forever home! 3 year old Chuck (aka The Chuck-ster) is a sweet and laid back dude with a heart of gold. He is the perfect mix of calm cuteness (especially when he gets curled up in a plush cat bed) with a playful side that will chase laser pointers and bat at string toys. He is a very go with the flow kind of guy and enjoys having someone to hang out with! When we aren`t paying him any attention, Chuck does his own thing - climbing his cat tower, throwing around a jingly ball on the floor, or snoozing until his next meal time. He is such an easy going guy - he just needs someone to love!Chuck is neutered, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention, and FIV/FeLV negative. Come meet him and you`ll see why we are all crazy about the Chuck-ster!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
Meet Ryder!! Ryder is an adorable 4 month old American shorthair kitten who was found in the dumpster thrown out like trash behind a grocery store! He had to be bottle fed because he was only 3-4 weeks old, but it just turned him into the most loving angel ever! He loves nothing more than to be wrapped in a blanket and held like a baby and even loves his butt being patted!  He loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters and does his zoomies twice a day to show off  his cool moves :) He is up to date on all vetting and will be ready to go as soon as he weighs enough to be neutered! Story
Milo sounds like a grumpy old man when he meows. He will love you like no other. He does like to do his own thing and be left alone at times and should be a one cat person. While he gets along with other cats, he will sometimes get slap happy.
