Story
Starla is a sweet, almost 3 year old cat that we adopted 2 years ago. She is so great with our kids, our dog, and loves all people she meets. As much as we’ve tried the last two years, she and our resident cat still don’t get along and frequently fight (our older cat is the primary aggressor). The fighting causes Starla to occasionally urinate outside the litter box, so an experienced adopter would be best to help her feel secure in consistently using her box. We love her so much and are so sad to let her go, but she is stressed by our older cat. We want her to have the best home!

Story
Max is 5 yo. I adopted him with his (very young) mom in the fall of 2020. He is the sweetest boy, but he and his mom don’t get along despite my every effort with meds and other strategies with my vet and other experts. I think Max will be happiest in a home without another cat, where he can get plenty of love from his owner. He is energetic and VERY affectionate and loves to play with his toys. He is an indoor only cat — it’s all he’s ever known. I’d never suggest he be outdoor. He is a beautiful boy and I’m heartbroken to have to list him. He is good with older kids — I’ve not seen him with young kids. Of course, any children and adults should be respectful with pets.

She is gentle with humans and kids and likes being pet on her head and back only. She will playfully grab you if you go for her belly. She prefers to live without other animals, although she currently lives with another cat and a dog. She will sometimes get annoyed at them at swipe her claws at them but has never hurt the other animals. She loves being in the same room with her human and will nuzzle to be petted. She loves treats and food. She has a special need of food that helps her with a kidney issue. The veterinarian noticed signs of kidney stones and she has been on the special food for a couple years with no issues.

Story
Hi! My name is Jeff. I am a brave soul with a remarkable journey, and I have overcome so much to find my place in the world. For years, I lived outside as a feral community cat, fending for myself and keeping my distance from humans. But when the cold became too much, my kind caretakers brought me inside, and my life completely transformed. I now live happily with four other cats who have become my friends, and I've discovered the joys of indoor life—soft blankets, cozy spots, and endless affection. I'll be honest: trusting humans didn't come naturally to me. But these days, I absolutely love being petted! I give enthusiastic head butts and purr so loudly you might think there's a motor running nearby. I'm still learning what it means to fully trust, but every day I'm getting more confident and comfortable. I enjoy the company of my feline roommates, and I'm proving that even cats who start out wary and independent can blossom into loving companions when given patience and care. I'm looking for a forever home where someone understands my journey and appreciates the incredible progress I've made. I have so much love to give, and I'm ready to continue my transformation with a special person or family. If you have room in your heart and home for a cat who has truly earned his second chance, please reach out. I promise you won't regret it—my purrs alone are worth it! traveljunkie345@yahoo.com

Story
Lily is ~14 years old, Maine coon. Well behaved. She is calm aside from 1-2 playful hours/day when she will pull out her toys. Functions best in a calmer home without dogs and appreciate consistent human presence when possible. Lily is fine with kids but I would say she is less stressed in a childless home. She appreciates snuggles, a good brushing session, sunshine through a window and a bowl of fresh wet food. She is spayed and pass yearly exams. Lily has chronic mild-moderate upper respiratory issue (mainly congestion with occasional sneezing), the vet and I decided to hold off on the rabies vaccine this year as she is strictly indoors. I’ve paid for extensive work ups to diagnose/treat Lily’s respiratory issue but concluded environmental allergies that are best managed with minimal fresh air and allergen exposure. She is an easygoing and loving cat with minimal demands.
