Story
Genesis is a stunning 1-year-old spayed female with striking black-and-white markings and bright green eyes — she even has a little black heart 🖤 on her right hip! This sweet, vocal girl loves attention and enjoys being close to her people. She’s playful and affectionate, often rolling over for belly rubs, but can be a bit shy in a crowd of other cats. Genesis would likely do best in a calm home without small children and perhaps one or two friendly feline companions. She hasn’t been tested with dogs yet. She is litter box trained and ready to become a cherished member of your family. *Indoor-only homes, please *We welcome out-of-state adoptions, but we do not provide transport. She is in foster care. - Email us at etnfoa@gmail.com - For questions, call East Tennessee Friends of Animals at 865-294-3189 Adoption Fee: $30 Includes: - Spay/Neuter - FVRCP & Rabies Vaccinations - Microchip - Flea Treatment & Dewormer - FIV/FeLV Testing (Negative) Bonus Goodies: - Free Veterinary Visit - Free Automatic Laser Toy - Free Cat Toy and more! Story
Meet Bullet! He is a super sweet boy. He loves people, even children. He's only 2 years old and absolutely fantastic. Bullet is FIV positive, but positively adoptable. If you are interested in this guy, don't let his positive status scare you as it is the least important thing about him. He is fixed and friendly so no worries about transmission. Bullet is litter box trained, well-mannered, and ready to become a cherished member of your family. *Indoor-only homes, please *We welcome out-of-state adoptions, but we do not provide transport. Story
Hello! We estimate that Miss Kitty is at least 9 years old. No known health issues, UTD on shots and spayed. She is a gorgeous green-eyed cuddle bug, goes with the flow, loves to eat, and is a couch potato who sleeps in odd places and is hit and miss with toys and playing. Very low maintenance and calm and all she asks for is pampering. Great and oh-so-loving around any humans, but she is frustrated around other animals and has been nicked by a large dog before. She is currently homed with a small playful dog who she tolerates and plays with occasionally but Miss Kitty prefers a home where she gets all the attention. We are needing to find her a loving household where she can spend her senior years. She is completely non-aggressive and is the sweetest cat we have ever met. She has a shelter history, she deserves a home outside of the shelter. We have a cat tree, litter box, automatic feeder, water bowl, and right now 6 months prescription flea and tick and a bag of food for her.

Story
Hi, I’m Munchkin. I used to be called Velvet, but I got this name because I’m just a little guy. Even though I’m a year-old brown tabby, I am only about 11 pounds. However, I do have a big personality, and I love to leap high into the air to catch a string toy. Boy, that’s my favorite activity. My foster mom has taken lots of videos of me chasing those toys. Most of the time my foster mom can find me sitting by one and begging with my eyes for her to 'make it move”! The treat game is another of my favorite activities. See, we have a puzzle that my foster family uses and she puts treats in them. Then I have to figure out how to get them out. I do love treats. OOOH and that push-pop-licky thing - I think she calls it a Churu… wow those are awesome! Like, I’ll do anything for one of those. I am a bit nervous around strangers, and dogs really scare me. I’d love a forever family that is older and quiet. I don’t remember what happened to me or how I ended up in the shelter (I was really young), but,  it must have been a little traumatic- all I remember is my foster mom picking me out of all the others. She said she saw something special in me. I’ve been with her for about 9 months, and I’d really love to find a forever family. I think I could be a wonderful emotional support animal. I will make a strong bond to one person and they will be my forever person. I will head butt them and rub on their legs while they are cooking dinner. I love to cuddle up while you watch TV and I’m a good nighttime cuddle buddy. Maybe you are looking for me, just as I am looking for you?
