Story
Pepe is a short-haired black and white male cat about 2 years old.  He loves to snuggle up on your chest if you let him. He enjoys the company of other cats and especially loves to nap with them.  He is good with kids and other cats but is scared by dogs. He loves to play with toys and other cats.  He is a peaceful, calm cat.  Pepe’s owner is trying to rehome him, because he has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in his current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept him separated from the other pets, he has used the litter box faithfully.  He is current on her vaccinations and is otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of his vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.netWe are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.April 2, 2025, 2:56 pm

Story
Ruby is a pretty short-haired deep brown, almost red looking female cat about 4 years old.  She loves people and is definitely a lap cat. She’s chatty and enjoys following her humans around the house.   She is a peaceful, calm cat.  She is good with kids and other cats and is unphased by dogs.  Ruby’s owner is trying to rehome her because she has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in her current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept her separated from the other pets, she has used the litter box faithfully.  She is current on her vaccinations and otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of her vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Meet Sunny, a special little girl who needs a special home. She ended up in rescue because her family had more animals than they could care for. Not long after she went to a foster home, she developed FIP, which was diagnosed on 1/9/25. She immediately started the treatment, which has been completed.  As part of her post-treatment bloodwork, she was combo tested and turned out to be feline leukemia positive. She had previously tested negative. A separate test to confirm the diagnosis revealed that it is 'regressive'. If you Google 'regressive feline leukemia,' you'll get an excellent overview of her condition, and you'll understand why she needs to be in a home with no other cats.  We don't want to put Sunny with other leukemia cats, because we don't want her to become 'progressive.'  And we don't want her to be with cats who don't have leukemia, since she could pass leukemia to other cats.  You know who wouldn't be a problem? Dogs and people!!  She loves attention.  She has lived with dogs and teenagers, and we think she’ll be fine with younger kids as well.  Sunny has been vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas, vet checked, and spayed.  SUNNY IS A COURTESY POST.  If interested in Sunny, please contact Michele at 719-482-8002 or bygolley1@aol.com.    We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Creamsicle is a strikingly handsome, short-haired neutered male orange tabby, about 1.5 yrs old (DOB 6/25/24.) His mom is a friendly stray that delivered Creamsicle, his brother and three sisters in a flower bed next to our garage. All of his littermates are mostly black so he is really an eyecatcher! He has always been affectionate towards his foster family and purrs loudly when held. He loves to play soccer with a “fuzzy ball“ (yarn pom-pom) and then curl up on your lap to nap. He’ll melt your heart when he looks into your eyes and meows “hello.”  He’s current on his distemper and rabies vaccines, been tested for Felv/FIV, on Frontline plus flea and tick treatment, and gets his claws trimmed every one to two weeks. He’s strictly an inside kitty and has used a litter box reliably since he was five weeks old. He’s never been around dogs, but gets along well with other cats. He’s had limited exposure to kids and seems to enjoy them.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Skippy is a delightful torbie (gray tabby with orange highlights) female cat about 2-1/2 years old (DOB about 4/1/23).  She has big, beautiful green eyes.  She is also a tripod missing her right front leg.  Her right front leg was broken and atrophied, so it had to be amputated when she was a kitten.  Skippy is very sweet and loving.  She loves to cuddle with you while watching TV and sleeps with me at night.  She is laid back and relaxing and not super active.  She currently lives in a multi-cat home, and, unfortunately, she is being picked on by the other cats in the home.  The owner has tried anti-anxiety meds and taken her to the vet to ensure that there is not a medical issue involved.  The vet is recommending that she be rehomed, since she is being picked on so much, and that she be the only cat.  I think she would be ok with older kids, but she has not lived with kids or dogs.  She is current of her vaccines (had her exam and vaccinations in early Sept) and weighs around 8 lbs.  If interested in Skippy, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Beauty and Brave are a bonded pair of 11-year-old litter mates looking for a forever home to enjoy their golden years in. They were found together as kittens, and have been inseparable ever since, especially after losing their owner last year. Beauty, or Beauty Queen as we lovingly refer to her, is a spayed all white female cat, with one blue eye and one green. She is so sweet, loves to be held like a baby, and as long as she has a nice fluffy place to lay and a window to look out of with her brother, she is perfectly content. Brave is an orange tabby and white neutered male. His name is a little deceptive, as he is not very brave, but once given the time to adjust, he loves people, ear scratches, and cuddles. Though they're getting older, they still love to play with toys and each other occasionally. They've never been in a home with other pets before, so we're not sure how they would react to dogs or other cats. A quieter home without much going on might be best for them. Their previous owner fell on hard times and surrendered them to a local vet.  They are heathy, happy, and up to date on vaccines. Brave and Beauty are SPONSORED CATS.  A generous donor had paid their adoption fee to help them get adopted.  If interested in these wonderful, gracious cats, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens.
