Story
Maple is a very sweet and loving cat who absolutely loves pets! She’s not initially outgoing, but warms up very quickly. she would prefer a home where she will be the only cat. She has the cutest meow and flops on the floor to be pet more. She will jump on your shoulders or lay on your chest. She would love a quiet environment and would even love a screened in porch or balcony to sit outside. We are just looking for a great home for Maple to go to, she is a great cat and very easy to take care of. She was also declawed on her 2 front paws by the previous owner before us, but still has her back claws.

Story
Meet Sunny, a special little girl who needs a special home. She ended up in rescue because her family had more animals than they could care for. Not long after she went to a foster home, she developed FIP, which was diagnosed on 1/9/25. She immediately started the treatment, which has been completed.  As part of her post-treatment bloodwork, she was combo tested and turned out to be feline leukemia positive. She had previously tested negative. A separate test to confirm the diagnosis revealed that it is 'regressive'. If you Google 'regressive feline leukemia,' you'll get an excellent overview of her condition, and you'll understand why she needs to be in a home with no other cats.  We don't want to put Sunny with other leukemia cats, because we don't want her to become 'progressive.'  And we don't want her to be with cats who don't have leukemia, since she could pass leukemia to other cats.  You know who wouldn't be a problem? Dogs and people!!  She loves attention.  She has lived with dogs and teenagers, and we think she’ll be fine with younger kids as well.  Sunny has been vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas, vet checked, and spayed.  SUNNY IS A COURTESY POST.  If interested in Sunny, please contact Michele at 719-482-8002 or bygolley1@aol.com.    We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.March 8, 2026, 10:40 am

Story
Pepe is a short-haired black and white male cat about 2 years old.  He loves to snuggle up on your chest if you let him. He enjoys the company of other cats and especially loves to nap with them.  He is good with kids and other cats but is scared by dogs. He loves to play with toys and other cats.  He is a peaceful, calm cat.  Pepe’s owner is trying to rehome him, because he has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in his current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept him separated from the other pets, he has used the litter box faithfully.  He is current on her vaccinations and is otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of his vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.netWe are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Ruby is a pretty short-haired deep brown, almost red looking female cat about 4 years old.  She loves people and is definitely a lap cat. She’s chatty and enjoys following her humans around the house.   She is a peaceful, calm cat.  She is good with kids and other cats and is unphased by dogs.  Ruby’s owner is trying to rehome her because she has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in her current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept her separated from the other pets, she has used the litter box faithfully.  She is current on her vaccinations and otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of her vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Sabrina is a cute short-haired calico female about 10 weeks old (DOB about 3/15/25).  She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them.  She is VERY playful and active.  She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored.  She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had her first distemper vaccine, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.  Additional vaccines included in the adoption fee.  Preference will be given to local adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten or are willing to adopt a pair.  We do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet.   If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (Land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net.   We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens.
