Story
This striking tortie is vocal, loves to be brushed, has a big personality and is looking for an adopter who understands that she has boundaries. She enjoys being petted on her own terms in the areas she likes (no tummy rubs, back or tail pets.) She would be a wonderful companion while her person watches TV on the couch. She does not get along with other cats and would prefer to be the sole feline recipient of your attention. She does receive a solensia injection once a month for her arthritis.

Story
Smokey came from the Forks sheter and was one of their most favorite cats to go through there. They loved him! He had been loose in a neighborhood for many weeks. He was finally brought to the Forks shelter and held on a stray hold. No one claimed him. He is very friendly and sweet. He really liked the kids who came to the Forks shelter to visit him.

Story
BO AND TINA ARE BONDED SIBLINGS AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER These two youngsters are a very bonded sibling pair who were originally adopted from us in 2020. Their folks are having to move and can’t take the kitties with them. These siblings have lived with a terrier-type dog, but haven’t spent any time with toddlers or children. Both are very sweet and loving. They have always had access to an enclosed catio. Brushing is a must for both of them. Occasionally they’ve been known to get the zoomies … tearing through the house (mostly at night). Sometmes this turns into a play fight. They have always slept together. At times they were contained to one room at night due to their busy and playful evening antics. We think their humans probably wanted some sleep! Bo is a very mellow lap cat. He purrs and likes to eat leisurely. He does talk a lot and loves his scratching post. Bo likes tummy rubs. Tina is a bit more aloof, and not a lap cat. She eats very quickly and will try to grab Bo’s food. We suggest that they be separated at feeding time, perhaps across the room from each other.Tina likes to scratch on the carpet / caat tree. She doesn’t like tummy rubs, but loves crackly things. She is very food motivated, and will scraatch at the kitchen cabinets for food.

Story
This poor girl was left behind on a property that had foreclosed. The homeless people that were previously living there were trying to keep up with feeding her. Then the property owner threatened to have them arrested if they kept coming on the property and feeding her. They grabbed her and tried a few other shelters that turned them away and finally made it to PFOA in late evening and pouring down rain. She was so thin and basically going to starve to deth if left on the property. Pepper was in desperate need of being rescued. She is a survivor! We are still working with her to see her true personality. She hs been nothing but sweet and loves her food since we've had her. It will be interesting to see her blossom with the comfort of food, a warm place, and love. Pepper will need to be on a special kidney prescription diet.
