He’s a fun-loving guy who lives for playtime, especially tug-of-war with his favorite humans and a good game of fetch. He also enjoys racing around the yard with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to keep him company (he’s more of a chase-and-run kind of player than a wrestler so far). Koda is affectionate and bonds closely with his people, which means he doesn’t love being left alone for long periods. He’ll thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, and ideally with another dog to help keep him feeling secure. He can be a little anxious at first, but once he settles in and feels safe, his loving personality really shines. This agile, athletic boy enjoys going on walks, is very food-motivated (treats are the way to his heart!), and already knows sit and listens pretty well. Our family will be moving, and due to needing to downgrade our lifestyle and move in with other family members, we are unfortunately unable to take our wonderful 2-year-old dog with us. He is a male Catahoula Leopard, neutered, and up to date on all of his shots. He is great with kids, and we’ve made several attempts to rehome him, but have been unsuccessful. At this point, we are hoping to find a safe and caring environment for him.

Beau is a sweet 7 year old dog that loves people. He always wants to be wherever you are. He is a playful dog who also likes to snuggle with you and nap. We adopted him before we had kids, and now that we have four kids we just do not have the time to give him the attention he needs. He has some separation anxiety. We have given him Prozac with some improvement, but he just needs more love and attention. He is a really sweet boy that gets along well with other dogs but is nervous around children. He absolutely loves adults and is happy to go on walks, chase tennis balls or just run around a big yard. We hate to rehome him, but we believe it is the best decision for him.
