Story

Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. Hank is a handsome young man- he is just over a year old and strong at 65 lbs. He is neutered and has completed basic obedience training to which I can provide receipt. He is leash trained. He is such a goof ball and loves to play, he is the best car rider ever, and enjoys all types of company! He is a big boy and deserves all the attention he can get by an owner that is able to handle his stature- He needs to be in a an active dog only household. I am looking to rehome him to give him the fullest life has to offer. He is incredibly smart and his personality is undeniable! I know his gorgeous coating and manners will allow him to find a new home.
