Story
Meet Marshall, a 10-pound chihuahua with a spirit that’s as gentle as they come. Estimated to be around 10 years old, he’s had a hard life that makes him appear older than he is, but don’t let that fool you — this little guy has so much love left to give. Found as a stray in Texas, Marshall came to us in heartbreaking condition. His nails had grown so long they curled into his paw pads, and he is likely completely blind due to advanced cataracts. He also has arthritis in his back and hind legs. Despite everything he’s been through, Marshall remains an incredibly sweet, trusting soul who just wants to feel safe and loved. Because of his blindness and fear of navigating new spaces, Marshall prefers to stay within a small, familiar area. He’ll thrive with a patient adopter willing to create a cozy, predictable setup for him — a comfy bed close to his food and water so everything he needs is always within easy reach. Marshall is a mellow guy who enjoys just being by your side. He is currently in a foster home with other fellow senior pups and does great with them. Marshall is fully housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go out by crying or softly barking. Due to his mobility and vision challenges, he will need someone who can gently carry him outside when it’s time for a potty break. If you have a soft spot for seniors and a heart big enough for a dog who needs a little extra understanding, Marshall is ready to give you all the love he has. His adoption fee is $400 and Marshall is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and will be having full dental work done soon. He was never neutered and the vet recommended not doing so at his age. He also qualifies for our Senior-to-Senior program so if you’re 60 or older, you can adopt Marshall for $300. Story
*Name: Cosette *Age: 10 months old *Current Weight: 10 lbs  *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) This sweet 10-month-old girl has been through a lot in her short life — but you’d never know it from her happy smile and wagging tail! Cosette came to us needing shoulder surgery, and thanks to amazing veterinary care (and her incredible resilience!), she’s now fully recovered and thriving. Cosette is playful, affectionate, and full of love. She adores her people, enjoys snuggling up after a good walk or play session, and greets every day with pure puppy joy. She’s great with other dogs and would love a home where she can continue to grow, explore, and share her boundless love. After everything she’s overcome, Cosette truly deserves her happily ever after. Could that be with you? IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2553358##

Story
*Name: Chata *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 17 lbs *Rescued from: Texas (currently located with foster in Texas, transport will be scheduled once adopted.) *Adoption fee: $375 My family and I were found kept in a small cage exposed to the elements in Texas until we were welcomed into our wonderful foster home. My puppies have already found their furever homes, and now it's time for my mom, Emma, and me to find ours! Here's a bit about me: Crate and House-Trained: My foster mom says I'm such a good girl and well-trained. Cuddle Bug: I am a huge cuddle bug and love snuggling up any time of the day. Playful Spirit: I enjoy playing with my foster siblings. People Lover: I absolutely adore people and giving kisses is one of my favorite things to do. Friendly with Other Dogs: I get along well with other dogs, making me a great addition to any family with canine companions. Emma and I love to cuddle up with our human at the end of the day. I can't wait to snuggle up with my new family soon! I am looking for my perfect family. Could that be you? If you're ready for endless kisses, playful antics, and lots of snuggles, please fill out an application. I can't wait to meet my new family! To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1589428##

Story
🌟 Calling All Chihuahua Lovers — Meet Edward! 🌟 If you adore Chihuahuas, then say hello to Edward, a 6-year-old, 12-pound bundle of black furred brilliance who embodies everything people love about this spirited little breed! Edward is feisty, full of energy, and absolutely snack-motivated — his heart (and his tap-dancing paws!) beat a little faster at the sound of treats. He prefers a comfy halter over a collar, and once he’s suited up, he’s ready for anything: a car ride, a walk, a visit with friends, or a grand adventure. But this pint-sized powerhouse has a soft side, too. When the day winds down, Edward is more than happy to settle into hours of TV time, snuggled up like the loyal little shadow he is. He’s a true Chi through and through — expressive, animated, alert, and full of personality. He dances, he prances, and he brings an instant spark of joy everywhere he goes. If you’re looking for a festive, lively, endlessly entertaining addition to your home, Edward is your guy. Come meet him — he’s ready to charm you with every step! 🐾💛🐕

Bellie Bio Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying. &#226&#151&#143 Energy level: high &#226&#151&#143 Potty training: trained &#226&#151&#143 Fenced yard: not required &#226&#151&#143 Shared walls: suitable &#226&#151&#143 People: all &#226&#151&#143 Dogs: good with small and medium sized dogs       Overview Looking for a young, sweet companion with lots of love to give? Bellie the dachshund mix might be the perfect addition to your family.   Bellie is a 2 year old sweetheart weighing 14lbs with a beautiful smooth red coat. She was originally bought as a gift but ended up needing a new home when her situation changed. This loving girl is ready to find her forever family who will appreciate her gentle, playful nature.   Environment Bellie is a high-energy pup who loves her daily adventures! She thrives on two 20-30 minute walks per day plus shorter potty breaks, and she’s great on leash. While she’d love a fenced yard to play in, it’s not a requirement as long as she gets plenty of exercise and stimulation. She’s fully potty trained and loves her crate—it’s truly her happy place. Bellie also does well in a pen setup and is comfortable being left alone for short periods. Get ready for some entertainment, she loves to shred toys and has the most adorable sudden zoomies that will keep you laughing.   Pets & People Bellie does wonderfully with other dogs both at home and out on walks. She’s proven to be a great playmate and gets along well at dog meetups. With people, she tends to be a bit nervous at first, especially with quick movements, so she does best with patient adults who can give her time to warm up. She’s particularly good with women and older children. Once she’s comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and loving. Treats definitely help with introductions and she’s very gentle when taking them. Her ideal adopter would be patient and gentle with her.   Location Bellie is available for adoption from Miami, Florida and is great in the car. Please email juliejohnson@littlepawsdr.org with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Bellie is $375.00.
