Story
Meet Aurora, the Roman Goddess of the Dawn. She is affectionate and sweet 8lb puppy who embraces life enthusiastically. She starts each day with eyes wide open ready to explore any new adventure. She loves all dogs, especially those of similar size. She requests her future home to have another dog and be willing and able to enroll her in a training class as she is very smart. She would be safest in a securely fenced yard as she is very resourceful and could easily escape. Aurora is pee pad trained but is adapting well to house-training. Her new home would need to continue encouraging this transition. To be considered to adopt Aurora please complete an application on our website www.spottydogrescue.org. ##1865559##

Story
Scotty is such a special little man, a real gentleman. Easygoing, adorable, charming, fun, playful, affectionate, walks well on leash, does great with other dogs and was very respectful towards the cat we introduced him to. He is a little gem who will make a lucky someone very happy. His journey into rescue started when we received an urgent phone call from a local veterinarian's office asking if we could accept him into our rescue. We were told that his owner carried him into the vet's office with a very severe eye issue, placed him down, and turned around and walked out. All done without a word, leaving this poor little pup abandoned. We are grateful, however, that the person that left him, at least brought him to a safe place where he could be properly helped. Without hesitation, we said yes of course we will take him. The vet's office did a fantastic job performing surgery to remove his eye that could not be saved, and by the next day he stole the hearts of the entire vet's office. He has healed beautifully and is now ready for his forever home! We believe him to be a chihuahua mix, around 3-4 years old. He weighs 12 lbs, is up to date with vaccinations, neutered and micro-chipped. If interested in adopting Scotty, please email us for an application at adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org Please note we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs. If interested in making a difference in a dog's life we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent.

Story
Please apply to adopt at www.brasscityrescue.org Snoopy may be just three years old, but he already has the charm and cuteness to win your heart. This handsome boy was surrendered by his owner, but it was no fault of his own. Despite this, Snoopy never loses his adorable looks, even when he does something a little shady. One of Snoopy's special traits is that he always looks amazing, no matter what. But that's not all – he has also been doing great with crate training, so he's well on his way to becoming the perfect house companion. He would love a home with a fenced yard or a pen area connected to the house, as he can be a bit of a flight risk. This little guy is busy, energetic, and always up for some playtime. But at the same time, he loves being a constant companion, a best friend, and a lap animal. Snoop Dog is an affectionate and playful pup, but can be very shy at first. He's looking for a patient and loving family who will help him with potty training and socialization with people. He loves the car and he's a serial licker once he warms up! This chonk is a velcro dog! Snoopy gets along well with other dogs and cats, but older kids would be the best fit for him as he's still getting used to being around different-sized humans. He would also do well with a companion animal. He really needs a buddy to be with. He's from a house of several dogs, let us know if you want to adopt one of his buddies (wink wink). If you're looking for a cuddly, cute, and fun-loving addition to your family, Snoopy is your guy! We promise he'll melt your heart with his adorable looks and playful personality. Give Snoopy the home he deserves and make him a part of your family.

Story
Apply to adopt at www.brasscityrescue.org Meet Yoda, the tiniest little beast you've ever seen. This handsome male chihuahua may be small in size, but his personality is larger than life. At just 4 years old and weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds, Yoda is the perfect lap animal for someone who wants an energetic and affectionate companion. Yoda was surrendered by his previous owner, who had a whole house full of pets. But this little alpha didn't quite fit in with the other animals, making him feel lonely and out of place. He may get bossy with small dogs, so we are no longer sure if he should live with one. He might just want to have friends and no canine siblings. Don't let his size fool you; Yoda has a big, independent streak. He loves nothing more than sitting in your lap, soaking up all the affection and then suddenly bursting into energetic zoomies around the house. He's the perfect balance of cuddly and playful, making him the ideal companion for someone who wants the best of both worlds. But, beware, Yoda is not your average chihuahua. He has a bit of a feisty side, especially when it comes to the vet. He may be a psycho there, but we promise he's an absolute sweetheart at home. He just needs some help with potty training and socialization with new people. But once he gets to know you, he'll be your constant and loving companion. Yoda is still getting used to different-sized humans, so teenage kids are better for him right now. He barks at small kids because he doesn't know what they are. A quieter house would be better for him. So, if you're looking for a tiny but mighty addition to your family, look no further than Yoda. He's ready to be your loyal and quirky companion, and all he needs is a loving home to call his own. Come meet Yoda today and see if he's the missing puzzle piece in your life. Yoda is waiting to be your faithful companion and bring love and laughter into your home.
