You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.HEY!! Is anyone looking here?!! If you aren't, then you should be! You are so missing out on learning about me, Daisy!!! Do I have your attention yet? Good, now listen I am a petite little girl with a big personality. I need someone who will treat me like a princess and spoil me like I so deserve! I do not need to share my space with another dog, so please only look if you are looking for an only child.  I would also like to have a fenced in yard for outside time with you! I demand your love, attention and most of all your lap space. I will promise to cover you with kisses and keep you feeling loved all of the time. Now we do need to talk about potty training. I really need this one on one thing so we can get this bathroom thing going in the right direction. Oh and I like riding in the car and leash walking, so I am requesting that rides for pup cups must be a necessity in our relationship. If you think you can handle all of this Daisy love, then go on to www.allmuttsmatter.org and apply for me. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2025, 2:06 pm

Story
Meet Hilo (Heelo)!
Age: ~13 years
Weight: ~29 lbs
Breed: Chihuahua / Beagle mix Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. In the event you have a question that is not covered in the bio, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application which can be found at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/. Please note that because all our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from Wilmington, Delaware for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit. Hilo is a lovable senior gentleman looking for a forever home to enjoy his golden years. He is fully housebroken, healthy, and has a wonderful, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. Hilo is a medium-energy pup who absolutely loves his walks — so much so that he does adorable little hops with his front paws when it’s time to go out. He also enjoys car rides, treats, toys, and being close to his people. He’s happy to nap independently but also enjoys attention and companionship. This sweet boy gets along great with dogs, cats, and older children. He barks minimally, walks nicely on a leash, doesn’t mind being handled or picked up, and sleeps comfortably in a dog bed. While he’s not crate trained, he does very well in the home. He can do stairs and is still gaining confidence with them. A fenced yard is not required as long as he gets regular walks. Hilo has had a mass removed and a few dental extractions and is currently on monthly preventatives. He has no ongoing medical or behavioral issues — just a little extra weight he’s happily working off with his newfound love of walks. One of Hilo’s cutest quirks? He recently discovered the toy basket and will bury his entire head inside to pull out every toy, one by one. He’s silly, sweet, and loves being your little shadow. Ideal Home:
A loving home where someone is around often and enjoys having a calm, affectionate companion nearby. Hilo truly thrives with people around and would love a home full of love and routine. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal senior who still has plenty of joy for life, Hilo is ready to meet you!

Story
We accept applications within 1hour drive of Claymont DE 19703. Mr Cookie has quite a little story. He originally was brought into a facility as a stray. Since no testicles were seen they assumed he was neutered. Male dogs that are not neutered typically have a chip on their shoulder and this guy sure did. He was adopted out and returned. He was then transferred to a rescue, where he was adopted out and returned. Someone sent his bio to his current foster mom because these are type of dogs she likes to help. They worked on things for months but something just wasn’t right. She thought MAYBE a testicle didn't drop and someone didn't do a full neuter. Was she surprised when the vet felt 2 testicles that didn’t drop! This explained everything. So Cookie was finally neutered! But sadly he had some learned behaviors (he was about 2 years old now) and also is was obvious that he had been abused because of it. It’s been a long road, but this dog is amazing and all he wants to do is please and be loved. His ideal forever home would be a parent or 2, no children and another dog. Another dog isn’t a requirement but doggie play dates would be nice. We think he would miss playing and wrestling with another 4 legged friend. Cookie is crate trained, we can not say he is house broken. He loves to play with his tiny Kong tennis ball. He will even put it on the ramp himself so it rolls down and he can chase it. He IS neutered and UTD on vaccines, HW negative, and microchipped. Please email us gor an application AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com. Please remember chi experience is necessary for this special pup. .

Story
We prefer adopters be within 1 hour drive of Claymont, DE 19703. Sweet Oreo joined All Our Love Animal Rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. Oreo is a typical chi, tiny who thinks he’s mighty🙄 He likes to play with other pups, but he likes to be the boss so let’s call him dog selective. He was an only pup before coming into the rescue, and he would be fine as an only pup, but play dates with friends is always a good thing, to help keep him from becoming reactive when out and about. Oreo does get nervous in the car, so foster mom is taking him out on small errands in hope that he becomes more comfortable and can relax. Oreo definitely is all snuggles when it’s his turn to sleep with foster mom. We feel Oreo would do best in an adult home, with teenagers and older. We do require chihuahua experience. This breed can be spicy at times, and the parents can’t or shouldn’t allow them to rule the house. Once everyone knows their true place in the pack, spoiling them rotten and allowing them to think they are the boss can be fun at times. But they need that structure at first. Oreo has been neutered, vaccinated, HW & Lyme checked (both negative) and he is microchipped. If you would like to inquire more about Oreo please email us at AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com. We want nothing more than to help Oreo find his forever home.

Story
We prefer adopters to be within 1 hour of Claymont DE 19703, and for the adopter or their family to have a vet reference. Email us aolanimalrescue@gmail.com with questions or for an application. Carmelo joined our pack when his prior family couldn’t care for him anymore. Carmelo is very sweet and loves LOVES people! He enjoyed playing with the kids. The kids enjoyed playing with Carmelo too despite Carmelo’s lack of manners. We suggest children over 5-7 years old would be the best for Carmelo since he is still a little bit of a mouthy puppy, but it also depends on the child. youngest age of a child and family too. Carmelo is about 11 months old and he is still learning. And he gets so excited over everything so it’s hard for him to hear direction. His foster home has a few other dogs which makes it difficult for Carmie to focus. Carmelo is crate trained as long as he isn’t left too long. A nice walk before before being crated and he is good for 6-7 hours. We are working on house breaking, doesn’t mind the belly band too much. He enjoys car rides and walks. He does however think he is big man on campus when it comes to playing with the other dogs, so some dogs might not like Carmelo’s little tough boy side of him, and he makes growly noises when he plays so that can be misinterpreted. He got along super well with a mid size older submissive dog, of course she cared less about who the boss was. He came with the name Carmelo. If foster mom were to name him she would probably call him Squiggy (from Lavern & Shirley show). Carmelo has been neutered, vaccinated, HW and Lyme tested (both negative), and is microchipped. He is ready for his next chapter! If interested in adding this cutie to add to your family, please email us for an application AoLanimallrescue@gmail.com
