Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet little Mya. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect little lady. Mya is a recent rescue that came to us from Texas. When she was initially surrendered to our rescue partners, Mya was emaciated, just skin and bones. Mya has showed everyone the resilience that dogs have. She is exactly what so many people are looking for. She will be a great addition to just about any home. Mya is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. She is smart as can be and loves to play fetch. If you decide Mya is a match for your home, you better have a ton of toys for her to play with. Mya loves to play fetch. Mya will play with you, or she will happily play by herself. Mya is a nervous when she meets new people and needs at least 24 hours to warm up to strangers. If you have people who visit, Mya may walk to them, or she will completely walk away from them and pretend they don’t exist. Mya can be stubborn too. If it is cold and rainy out, and Mya doesn’t need to go out, she won’t. You will have to force her to go outside. Mya does live with other dogs currently, but if she has a choice, Mya would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She wants to be the princess and the center of your world. If you are sitting on the couch, Mya will be on your lap or next to you, and give you lots of kisses. Mya wants to be wherever you are and will follow you all around the house. Mya is right behind you in any room you are in. She will make sure you know it too! Every now and then Mya will poke you with her nose. Just a quick boop to let you know she is there. When you come home, Mya will shower you with all the love and affection you desire. She is excellent in the car and an excellent co-pilot on a car ride. Due to the fact that Mya is nervous around new people, a home with older children (13+) would be best for her. If there is another dog, it should be a calm submissive dog. One that won’t really bother her when she is running or playing with a toy. She prefers the company of her people over the four-legged friends. Mya is not a barker so she would be good for apartment life. Mya does have a lot of energy, which is short lived, so she will need to be walked to help release that energy. If you think Mya is a match for you, make sure to apply today. Mya is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 30, 2024, 11:04 am
