Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our beautiful Sadie is ready for her forever home. Talk about a Velcro dog that has so much love to offer; that’s our Sadie girl! Sadie is a 3-4 year old chihuahua. Sadie initially came in from Texas and was adopted. Sadly Sadie found  her way back into foster when her family had some unexpected changes and they could no longer keep her. Since being in foster, Sadie has proven herself to be wonderful little lady.    Sadie can be shy at first, as any chihuahua tends to be, but she will warm up rather quickly given a day or so. Sadie loves her people hard. She is always around her foster family. She loves to cuddle up next to them, rub herself under their chin, and is full of kisses. Sadie loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home. She will run and chase them through the yard and in the house. Sadie may be small but she is mighty and fast! Sadie is right behind her mama no matter where she is.  Sadie enjoys being on the couch, or in bed with her family at bedtime. If mama is in the kitchen, so is Sadie. Outside gardening, so is Sadie. Want to go for a car ride, Sadie is ready to go! She is happy to be buckled into her seat and ride shot gun with you.    Sadie is crate trained, and housebroken, although accidents may occur during her initial transition. Sadie is leash trained and walks like a pro. She has been a little nervous when approached by new dogs, when on a leash, in the past. She can be a little snappy with them. The best way for Sadie to meet new dogs, is either off leash or with a good old fashioned butt sniff, nose to nose is never good.    Sadie would do best in a home with older kids (12+), kids who can give her the space needed to adjust to a new home. Sadie does not live with cats currently, but we think she would be ok with them. She lives with guinea pigs and tends to leave them alone. Sadie does tend to be a bit of a barker. An apartment probably would not be the best living situation for her.    Sadie is a well adjusted little lady. If you think you can give her the home she deserves, make sure you apply today.  Sadie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 8, 2024, 12:40 pm

Story
My name is Paco. I'm an older gentleman with a very sweet and mellow disposition: calm, quiet, and very agreeable. My favorite thing is simply your friendship. A friend to give me some love , attention , pets and lots of love and affection is what I dream of . I would be the perfect pup to keep you company while you work at home or study, content to simply hang out, happy to be together. I'm ready to go home with you; are you ready to welcome me in?

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. We transport to most state across the country.  Thank you for looking. If interested, please submit an application on our website at www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         May 8, 2024, 8:12 am

Story
ADOPTED!!! This cute little nugget is Henry.  He is 3 years old and weighs 10 pounds and will not get any bigger.  Henry is a sweetheart, loves to cuddle and he is a quiet Chihuahua.  You hardly know that he is there.  He gets along with all of the other foster dogs in the home big and small.  And he is okay with cats. He walks well on a leash and does not get car sick.  Henry would love to snuggle up with you and be your best buddy.  He is very low maintenance on a daily basis.  He has been medically vetted and his medical records come with him at the time of adoption. If you are interested in adopting Henry, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you for looking. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
This guy cracks his foster mom up.  Although he is playful with the other foster dogs in the home, Calvin acts as if he is the stepdad to everyone.  He does not tolerate any fussing among the dogs as he thinks he is the only one that can do the fussing.  He can be grouchy sometimes.  He still loves to be held and cuddle up next to you for some love. Calvin is 3 years old and 15 pounds.  We are not sure what he is mixed up but he will not grow anymore.  This touch guy is a heartworm survivor.  We pulled Calvin from our city's very high kill shelter when no one wanted him because he was heartworm positive.  His foster mom is glad she pulled him and saved his life as he has been a good houseguest.  He has successfully gone through 2 treatments to get rid of those pesky heartworms.  Calvin is ready for his own home now so he can be the boss.  He walks well on a leash and  does not get car sick.  I will try to get some better pictures of him from his foster mom and hopefully a video to share but I wanted to get him posted so he can find a home where he does not have to share all of the love. If you are interested in Calvin, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
