Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beautiful Bria is ready for her new home! Bria came to us from Texas with her sister Baylor.  We are not sure what her mix is, possibly Chihuahua and she weighs around 14-15 pounds.   Bria and Baylor had a rough start before being rescued. They were found as strays, wandering the streets, pregnant, and also tested positive for heartworm. Fortunately, our partners in Texas took them in. They received heartworm treatment in Texas and they will require monthly heartworm prevention for the rest of their lives. Bria is an absolutely delightful little girl! She might be a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, her sweet and loving personality really shines through. Bria loves to be with other dogs and enjoys cuddling up next to them or just hanging out together. She is playful too but snuggling is her super power! She would be happy to have a furry friend in her new home to share adventures with! In her foster home, Bria seems to be housetrained, and having a fully fenced yard is a big plus—she adores sunbathing in it! Just remember that she might need a little time to adjust to her new surroundings and routine. Bria is working on her leash skills, and with some patience and encouragement, she’ll be walking right by your side in no time. She’s also crate trained and has a lot of fun with her toys and chewables. This calm girl really enjoys the cozy comfort of home, whether it’s snuggling on a soft bed or lounging on the couch. Bria is hoping to find a laid-back family who will love her and provide a safe, loving environment. She can’t wait to meet you! Bria is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and treated for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 2, 2025, 1:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet little Nana is available for adoption! Nana is an 9-year-old Chihuahua who weighs 9 pounds. She is short, chubby, and absolutely adorable! Nana reigns as the queen of her domain; she is definitely the boss! She enjoys having her little bed close to her foster mom and loves to snooze the morning away while her mom works. Always wagging her tail, Nana seems to be hoping for a treat! Her short legs make her even cuter, especially since she is a bit chubby. Nana carries around a little brown toy that she treats like a baby – it’s hers, and she loves it fiercely. If any pesky puppies get too close, she will chase them away to protect her toy. Nana is great with calmer dogs and will happily snuggle with them to keep warm on chilly days, especially if they are other Chihuahuas. She walks well on a leash, but in her foster home, she enjoys a fully fenced yard. She regularly uses potty pads indoors. While Nana can manage stairs, going down can be difficult for her, so she will need to be carried. Nana loves to be held and is quite the lap dog. She does well with people, and we believe she would be fine around children. Nana would thrive in a calm and cozy home with someone who appreciates little dogs. She is a good listener and enjoys watching TV. If you think Nana would be a great match for your home, please apply today! Nana is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. She has also had her bloodwork done. Her adoption fee is $425 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 4, 2025, 9:08 am

Story
Ziggy is a lover boy who would love to have a home with you.  He gets along with all of the dogs in my home and plays very well.  He is completely crate and potty trained.  When you tell him to 'Go Home' he puts himself in his crate and telling him to 'Go Potty' he will run outside.  I have not left him alone in the home while I am running errands because he always puts himself in his crate.  He will eat with the other dogs but he likes to eat in his crate.  He does not have any food or any other aggression. Ziggy was an owner surrender from someone who had him all of his 3 years.  The owners living situation changed and she could keep him any longer.  When he first came to me he was very scared and confused which was understanding.  I completely left him alone so he could get use to his new environment, the dogs and me.  After 2 days he came up to me giving me kisses and he has been my best friend every since. On the day of surgery, he was nervous but he allowed the vet tech to handle him and he was so relieved to see me on pick up time.  Once he gets use to you, he is an excellent pet and no maintenance on a daily basis. Ziggy is 3 years old, weighs 8 pounds and a long haired Chihuahua that would need to be groomed about every 3 months.  If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. Sorry it is hard for me to get a picture of him by himself as he is always playing with one of the other dogs. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 7, 2024, 5:10 am
