Story
Kanolli is a 5 year old Chihuahua/cockapoo mix who was an owner surrender when his previous owner could no longer care for him.  He is doing his best and learning to adjust to a new life.  We know that he loves treats and is very treat motivated.  He is leash trained and absolutely loves to go on walks but startles easily so we are working on that.  He is almost fully housebroken although he still has an accident occasionally.  He is still nervous from his move to his new home so we are giving him space and time.  He does well with other dogs and will require a fenced-in yard so he can run and play. Everything is new and different for Kanolli so he will need a home that is calm and someone who can take the time with him.  Patience will be key but once he knows you are his new person, he should settle in fine.  If you are interested in meeting Kanolli, fill out an application today! Story
Ziggy is a lover boy who would love to have a home with you.  He gets along with all of the dogs in my home and plays very well.  He is completely crate and potty trained.  When you tell him to 'Go Home' he puts himself in his crate and telling him to 'Go Potty' he will run outside.  I have not left him alone in the home while I am running errands because he always puts himself in his crate.  He will eat with the other dogs but he likes to eat in his crate.  He does not have any food or any other aggression. Ziggy was an owner surrender from someone who had him all of his 3 years.  The owners living situation changed and she could keep him any longer.  When he first came to me he was very scared and confused which was understanding.  I completely left him alone so he could get use to his new environment, the dogs and me.  After 2 days he came up to me giving me kisses and he has been my best friend every since. On the day of surgery, he was nervous but he allowed the vet tech to handle him and he was so relieved to see me on pick up time.  Once he gets use to you, he is an excellent pet and no maintenance on a daily basis. Ziggy is 3 years old, weighs 8 pounds and a long haired Chihuahua that would need to be groomed about every 3 months.  If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. Sorry it is hard for me to get a picture of him by himself as he is always playing with one of the other dogs. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 7, 2024, 5:10 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This pretty little girl is LUNA, a 9 month old, 12 pound chi-weenie.  She is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and very social and happy.  She is happy to meet people and gets along with all of the dogs.  LUNA plays very well with the other foster dogs big and small but still likes to be a lap dog and snuggle with you. LUNA would do best in a home with a pet companion as she really does enjoy the company of another dog.  Her energy level is average but may be too much as an only dog. She is crate and potty trained.  Because there are several dogs in the home, LUNA is crated when left alone but has the run of the house while there is an adult present.  She comes alive with little kids, she loves to play with them. If you are interested in adopting LUNA, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org       ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Hi there! We’re are Ruby and Max - two small, sweet pups who have been together our whole lives — and we can’t imagine it any other way. We’re looking for a home where we can stay side by side, just like we always have. We’re cute, fun, friendly, and super social. We love meeting people, being part of the action, and just hanging out with our humans. We will show you how happy we are with tail wags, happy greetings, and sticking close to your side. We do everything together: exploring the yard, curling up on the couch, following you around the house, and keeping each other company. We have a strong bond and bring out the best in each other. If you’ve got space in your heart and home for a joyful little duo, we’re ready to fill your life with twice the love and twice the smiles. We can’t wait to meet you!
