Copper came from a family friend. He was born February 14, 2015, making him 10 years old. I am looking for a home that can take care of him and spoil him. Copper enjoys playing with his favorite little squeaky dog. He has been in a household that had another small dog, but the last three years he has been the only dog. He has done well with the children in his current home. Copper enjoys the sunshine, but he definitely has a favorite spot on the couch. He currently sleeps on the furniture with a soft blanket.

Suzi is an adorable little 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to us from Animal Control with her senior Doxie friend who recently passed away. We know that she would love having a little friendly canine companion in her forever home.. Suzi gets along with all dogs, both big and small. She seems to like most everyone she meets, although at first she is a bit shy until she gets to know them. Suzi is well housetrained, and currently sleeps in a crate at her foster home. We feel she would love to be invited to join her new parents in 'the big bed'. Suzi is used to having a fenced yard at her foster home where she loves to run around chasing squirrels and lay in the sunshine. We feel that it would be ideal for her to have a fenced yard in her new home. We are looking for a family for Suzi where she will have companionship during the day, and will not be left at home alone while the family is at work. Either someone who works from home or a young and active retiree would be perfect for this little girl. Also, having a canine friend for Suzi is important... one who will enjoy cuddling and her companionship. She walks well on a leash and rides well in the car, so hopefully she'll be able to go on many adventures with her new family! Suzi is current on her Distemper/Parvo and Rabies vaccine and is spayed and microchipped. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on Heartworm prevention. Suzi's adoption fee is $400.00. We accept checks or cash for adoption fees... sorry, we do not take cards. Suzi is a loving, active, and smart little girl who deserves only the best home and family! I have come to this great rescue from a local shelter, where I ended up there after my owners moved away, left me behind, then someone else took care of me, they moved, left me behind, and then I had puppies! My babies are on their way to their new lives, and now it's my turn! My foster Mom says that I am the best little girl! While I still have, which some of you ladies out there can relate, my post pregnancy body, I am weighing in at about 26 pounds, about 4 years old, and MAY have some Chihuahua in me? Whatever breed I am, I am cute, loving, and I smile!! Mom says that I am heartworm negative, had my vaccines, am chipped, house and crate trained! My spay date will be April 8, 2025. Jax is a lively, playful, 6 pound Chihuahua who loves his treats ❤️. He hasn't been around many other dogs or children... but, he's great with my 3yr old granddaughter. She expects him to play every moment.. and he usually needs a nap after she leaves..lol. He's also good with my daughter's 80 pound lab! He is pad trained. I bought Jax for my mom after my dad passed last year... but unfortunately, her health is in decline and she can't take care of him. He doesn't get the exercise/outside time a puppy needs... and unfortunately I'm not in a position to keep him. I would love for him to have another Chi to play with! He had his initial shots and will have updated ones before re-homing. He does have 'strawberry eye' in one eye. The vet says it can easily be removed... but, it doesn't cause him any issues/discomfort... and does not NEED to be removed.
