Meet sweet Andy!! Andy was adopted from PAR as a puppy, and recently returned due to an owner life change. It was a difficult decision, but she wanted to give this precious boy the opportunity to live his best life. Andy is about 1.5 years old and is a perfect size at 35 lbs. (His mama was a 9lb chihuahua, btw!) Andy is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and loves a car ride!! He is very playful, but enjoys chllling on the couch too. Andy does great with other dogs and kids, so he would make a perfect family dog. This awesome boy can't wait to find his forever home! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt! Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We do charge a nonrefundable application fee of $10 to ensure that you are serious about adopting the pet. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. Galileo is around 9 years old, and is an absolute sweetheart. He is very energetic and playful, with fetch being his favorite activity. Balls are his favorite, but any toy (squeaky ones are best) will keep him happy. He can get a little angry and growl and huff if taken away from his favorite person, but has never acted out because of it. He has a slight ear infection that irritates him, and he is not house trained and is currently wearing diapers. With me moving out soon no one will be able to take care of him. All I want is for my buddy to be taken care of as he deserves, and I hope you can fulfill that for him.

He is a approximately 1-2 year old, 8 lb, Chihuahua Mix. He is dog and cat friendly, unaltered at this time and will be receiving his shots and microchip in the coming week. Depot will need a home without small children. He is reported to not be good with young children. He is very shy and reserved and gives excellent kisses and loves all the loving he can get. Rodney is a very curious, mischievous little guy who gets into everything, just like a little puppy. They say this guy is around 8 years of age and weighs 12 pounds, but he acts like a kid and he shows it by running a lot out of pure joy and fun and he adores being outdoors and laying in the sun. He is not good on a leash yet and is not housebroken but we are working on both. Cats are not welcome in his world at this point because he finds them strange and annoying. But he redeems himself with a family by loving to cuddle and snuggle. Can you believe that underbite he has? I mean it is the first thing you sort of notice about him. It might make him look tough but Rodney is a 'softie' through and through. He is just an adorable, sweet pup and he deserves a much better home than the hoarding conditions that he came from. My name is Prince Charlie and I am truly a dog with some royal habits in my everyday life. I was found on a rural back road in Tennessee and I just think that somehow my owners were misguided in dropping me off in the middle of nowhere. They didn’t explain but I think it was financial problems. But apparently the vet says that I am an adorable 8-year-old cream-coloredPug/Chihuahua boy with a heart of gold! I really don’t weigh much at all and the scales at the vet said 13 pounds. What I can say is that I am a strong and “bounce back “ boy that is ready to make your life happier and more loving with me by y our side. But listen up. I may be 8 years old, but I have a whole lot of energy to spare and so “senior” movements are not what I am all about at all. I can have the zoomies like the best of the youngsters out there. Hey…maybe they guessed my age wrong. Anyway, calling me a senior is maybe just in age but I don’t act like one and I don’t intend to. I am a boy that you can take out on walks, hikes, or social events outside and I will help you make more friends than you could ever imagine. I love all the dogs and cats at my foster home. I just love anything and everyone! The one thing that I am still learning after a short time in my foster home, is the house-training skills. But I can say that I am eager to please and so I am a great student trying to pass my house training exam. I am ready to be your fun machine, your love machine and your friendship matchmaker.
