Story
He is 35lbs and 4 years old - Doesn't get along with the other dog in the photo. We have two small kids so we want them to feel safe. Yogi has been trained and we will send him with the rest of his food, large crate if needed and his training collar. He is the sweetest dog to children, he just fights for alpha and we are saddened to not be able to keep him. He will be great in a home with kids but only him as he fights for attention and to be alpha. We would like to make sure he is given to a great home. Wont give him just anywhere... Thanks

Story
Ladies, here is the man for you... he prefers women over the male species and is a typical chihuahua who is loyal to his person. He is good with dogs his size. He is around 10 years old and needs a loving home for his senior years. If you understand those sweet chi personalities and think Bo might be your man, please read on. RECOMMENDATIONS & PROCEDURES Please note, the following are recommendations for puppies and different breeds of dogs. We will evaluate each application on an individual basis to see what is best for the dog/puppy and the potential adopter. Puppies are very fragile and not toys. We recommend children be at least six years old to be considered to adopt a puppy. Small breed dogs ( such as chihuahuas, yorkies, shih tzus , etc) we recommend children be at least eight years old. Herding, working breeds we recommend children to be at least 12 years old. Again these are recommendations. Adoption Procedures: We will travel up to two hours ( one way) to do physical home visits and we do not do virtual home visits. Most of our dogs come from bad situations and we want to know where their forever home is going to be. While we do not require fencing on all dogs, certain dogs that need a fenced in yard, will not be adopted unless potential adopter has one. We also adopt some dogs to people who live in apartments ( as long as the landlord approves) but not all dogs. We do not adopt to anyone under 21 years of age. We also do not feel college students are the best fit for most of our dogs. Most of our dogs again, come from bad situations and need lots of attention. Most college students have financial responsibilities and we feel need to be focused on school. Our goal is to match the dog with a family that fits the dog’s needs. We are solely focused on what is best for each dog in our rescue. These dogs have had enough moving around, dumped out like trash, and we want to ensure they find their forever home. We do require you sign a contract and if at any time you cannot continue to provide for the dog, the dog comes back to the rescue. Your first step to adoption is filling our our on line application. You will then get an automated email stating we got your application Next our adoption coordinator will be in touch either by phone or email If your references check out, a home visit will be scheduled. After the home visit is done, a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in and/or any other available dogs we have will be scheduled If the dog and you are a match, contract will be signed and you may take your new family member home. **PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!!** 1-17-26: "Are you looking for the sweetest Chihuahua Feist mix around? Well, look no further, here I am! My name is RUBY, and I am happy to meet you! I have come to this great rescue with 2 of my "sisters" after our owner was no longer able to care for us. We ended up at the local Shelter, and boy, was that scary for us little girls! Mom saw us and wasted no time in helping us bust out of there! I am, as I mentioned earlier, a Chihuahua Feist mix, weighing in at 24 pounds, about 3 years old, house and crate trained, had all my vaccines, spayed along with micro chipped! The good news is I am heart worm negative! My leash manners are pretty good, just a little hesitant at times. Mom says I am loveable, sweet, just a little shy, learning my new life. I would love to meet you. I'm good with other dogs, but Mom does not know about Cats or children" "Do I sound like a girl you'd like to add to your life, to be your constant companion for life? If yes, just email my Mom and she will send you an application right out or answer any questions you may have about me. FOR FASTEST RESPONSE, PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER ON HERE, EMAIL, AS EMAILS ARE CONSTANTLY MONITORED!! My adoption fee is $250.00 to help cover my vetting" "Till we meet" Love, RUBY **GOOD VERIFABLE VET REFERENCE REQUIRED!!**

**PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!!** 1-11-26: "NUGGET here, and I just know that you will fall in love with me now that you clicked on my profile! I am the sweetest Chihuahua mix boy, weighing in at 16 pounds, 3 years old, chipped and vaccinated. I am also happy to report that I am heart worm negative! My manners are that of the finest boy around with my crate and house! I do need to be neutered, and that is in the process of being scheduled. I can't leave till that is done, but you can come meet me and PRE-ADOPT me if you like! My leash skills are good! I am enjoying my time at my foster home, and Mom just loves me! I am great with the other dogs, but cats and children, I can't say, as there aren't any in my home. Mom chose me at the local shelter after my previous owner's landlord said they had to rehome several of my friends and I, and they chose the shelter for us. Mom has found out that I will be my best with a secure fenced yard, as my previous owner just let us run, and I can't get that out of my system, lol. If you don't have the fenced yard, I can NOT be off leash at any time. My adoption fee is $250.00 to cover my vetting" "Well, if I sound like someone you'd like to meet, just email my Mom, and she will send application right out to you. For quickest response, PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER on here, email, as emails are constantly monitored" "Hope to meet you soon!" Love, NUGGET **GOOD VERIFIABLE VET REFERENCE REQUIRED**
