Story
Pepe is a 12yr old and needs a home where he can be the center of attention. Preferably with a female and no other animals. He has been a family pet, but primarily our daughter's dog. She has taken very good care of him but has moved out of state and is unable to bring him with her. Pepe was a rescue dog at 6 mo., while he had a hard start in life he has been spoiled with lots of love. He shared our home with a couple of other pups who have since gone over the rainbow bridge. We now have a 1 1/2 year old pup and if you can imaging pup energy with a senior dog some days are a challenge. Pepe does enjoy short walks, and 1 to 1 attention and would thrive with someone who would focus only on him.

Story
Sweet 9 year old rescue looking for a new home that can give her full attention. She has lived with dogs and cats and gets along with both. It can take her a moment to warm up to new people. She does better with people who are calm and can let her come to them. For this reason she is looking for a home with no kids or older kids who understand dog behavior. She loves being outside especially if there is a good squirrel to chase. She is also leash trained and loves to go on adventures to new areas.

Story
* Now fostered in NH* This cutie is Sweetie. She is around 5 months old and we think they may be a Chihuahua mix*, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Sweetie playful personality here: https://youtu.be/nAT2SCRJED0?si=8PAcS7NB5KVebkN5 Sweetie is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Sweetie is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Who’s tiny, white, curly and extra fluffy? Well, that’s Oscar for you! Oscar is a great boy who is learning the ways of the world. We estimate him to be about 3 years old. His tiny size comes from his Maltese Chihuahua roots if we’re going off of his good looks. Breed is never guaranteed in rescue— All we can do is guess! Oscar is about 15 pounds of pure lap dog though. Regardless of breed, these dogs are one of a kind. But especially Oscar! Oscar is currently in a loving foster home where he is fostered with other small dogs of his likeness. 7 dogs at that! He is having a great time learning all about toys, treats, and all things good. It’s been a pleasure to see him blossom into a playful little guy. One of his foster siblings is 19 years old, and Oscar makes sure he is gentle with her, never bothering her and taking corrections well. He is so funny— him and his siblings often play musical bowls, sharing their food at each meal time with no issues. They just move from one to the other. Sharing is caring! See Oscar being a little cutie pie in his video, then come back to read more! https://youtu.be/P2nA-U6pEBA?si=xrbMiQLueCUngvoR Oscar is the type of guy that likes to take things slow and he doesn’t move too fast on the first date. Earning his loyalty and trust is something that makes you feel so special. That’s why Oscar is so unique if he loves you, he falls hard for you and he’s a loyal little guy! His Foster says the Oscar is trusted to free Roam in the house and that he sleeps in bed with her at night. What a little cuddle bug! Oscar often finds himself on anything soft like the couch or his cozy dog bed on the floor. He doesn’t mind snuggling up with his new siblings and he’s always sitting on the porch with them enjoying the evening sounds. He will be your perfect morning coffee buddy watching you make breakfast in the kitchen and sitting outside enjoying the nice sunrise with you. Or sunset! Oscar isn’t picky, but you can tell that he is so thankful to be saved. We believe Oscar would be best in a home with a yard only because he loves being outside so much. His Foster will always find him in the shady spot underneath her sunflowers or following around the Blue Jays that she feeds. Sounds like it’s straight out of a movie! It’s almost like he is enjoying all of the little things that he didn’t get before he came to us. Although we haven’t seen Oscar with kids just yet we do believe the older kids would be best for this guy only because of his timidness. Like we said, he prefers to take things slow and he would he would love a life with a routine and calmness. Gentleness is the best thing about Oscar and he just craves peacefulness. Older kiddos that can understand and respect. His boundaries would be best! We have not seen him with kitties either, but we do believe that Oscar would be all right with a cat only because of his size. Eventually, he may want to play so we’re not recommending a home with just one kitty, but kitties and dogs alike would be fine. If you would like us to cat test him, please just say the word and we would be happy to help! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Pine Nut is a tiny, gentle soul with a heart full of sweetness. There is no better feeling than getting to be a part of a glow up journey with your adopted pup. Pine Nut will give you just that! A little love and patience and you will have the best companion! Watch her video and see for yourself why everyone who meets Pine Nut falls in love. https://youtu.be/bokajFwFY2o Piney is an adorable Chihuahua mix estimated at 5 months old. She is a petite 10 lbs of pure sweetness with the softest cream coat sprinkled with the prettiest tan speckles. She has the most dainty facial features, expressive little eyes, and tiny paws that somehow make her already small size feel even more delicate. She’s naturally a bit timid at first, but in the sweetest way. She’ll allow interaction and soft affection, and once she feels safe, you can see her confidence slowly bloom. Other dogs are her magic key….around them, she lights up with happiness and excitement, which helps her open up even more with people too! With a canine friend by her side, she becomes braver, brighter, and eager to connect. She’s gentle and respectful with kids, having met two 5 year old girls and handled herself beautifully. She was relaxed around the little humans, but their dino toy made her a little nervous. She’s also met our resident cat and chose to calmly avoid him. There is potential for her to coexist in a home with a gentle cat that will allow her to be relaxed. Piney is crate trained. Though it’s not her favorite, she does well in her routine…though she may whine a little just to remind you she’s still hoping for extra love and attention. This very sweet girl is full of potential and just waiting for the right home to help her blossom. Are you her missing piece?
