Story
Meet little senior sweetheart BISCUIT! Senior rescues are amazing pets for: - 1st time adopters - Families with other senior or adult dogs - Senior citizens! Senior dogs are pretty much "ready to go" and can require pretty low-maintenance, being happy accompanying you around the house doing chores, going on errands to pet stores, or enjoying cuddle/lap time while you enjoy relaxing at the end of a hard day. Biscuit is around 7yrs of age and is getting along famously with her foster's resident senior small breed dogs, already picking up how to use the doggy door and working on crate training.since arriving to Portland Oregon from Guadalajara Mexico Jan 29th! Biscuit weighs around 12 lbs but could stand to take off a lb or so through daily walks and caloric restriction. Story
Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 2 year old 13 pound mellow boy. He is a heart throb and everyone who meets him says he captures their heart with his quiet, shy manner. He's a young boy who would do well with someone who would help build his confidence.  He's excited to see you and jumps enthusiastically when he sees you! Tucker is not a barker, and loves his tummy rubbed. He's working on his leash training and should progress nicely as he likes to stay right by you.  He is very playful with people and with the other dogs in his foster home. If there is another dog in his potential home we'd for sure want to do a meet and greet. We think Tucker would be a great only dog too. He fancies himself a lap dog for sure! He is dog door and outdoor potty trained, but as we always say, there may be some training involved when transitioning to his new home.  We think Tucker would thrive with positive training with confidence building games.  Are you looking for a mellow, playful pup? Then Tucker is your guy! Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $280. He is being fostered in McMinnville. A lovely drive out in wine country! You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually. For updates on all the Underdogs be sure to follow the Underdogs Rock Rescue Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UnderdogsRockRescueFebruary 9, 2025, 6:02 pm

Story
Meet Hope the Pasadena Sweetheart! She is currently 15 weeks old, only 11 pounds, and we think she may be a small Chihuahua/Pittie mix mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Hope's video here: Hope is simply amazing. She will dazzle you with her good looks and charm you with her endearing personality - this petite girl has it all and she's ready to give it to you, right alongside all her love and adoration! Hope loves to play, and this girl wants - no, she NEEDS - all the toys. (And we mean ALL the toys!) You can't help but laugh watching her stockpile toys and then romp and play with her favourite ones. (Don't worry, she shares toys - she will bring them to your lap and expect to have a seat there, a snuggle, and a relaxing chewtime, too. We absolutely endorse these laptime love sessions!) We adore Hope's joyful attitude and her charm and happiness is contagious. This girl and her zest for gentle puppy play will have you giggling and smiling, and her never-ending quest to deliver all the kisses you can stand will soften every beating heart she meets. She is definitely a people-person (uh, dog), and has never met a stranger - Hope loves everyone. Hope is currently in a loving and experienced foster home with several other dogs, ranging in size and age. She's also great around cats, generally giving them a wide and respectful berth, and chickens too! She has mastered several commands like "sit" already, and is learning to be perfect on leash too. Hope has it all - she is living her best puppy life and all she needs right now is YOU! Hope is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Story
Hi - my name is Rigby and I was just recently rescued from a California shelter, where I was made urgent for who knows what reason. I had pretty bad teeth, so my rescuers just took me in for a dental, where I had 13 teeth pulled! I am quiet and easygoing, and I do well with other dogs. I would love a home where I can retired, have a nice, relaxing life and have a person or people who love me. I weigh only 7 pounds! Please email for an application.

Story
Tada came to us with his litter mates, mom and dad from California where they were strays that showed up on someone's property. The property owner asked for help and we gladly accepted this little family into our program. - Tada is 5 pounds and will be 8 weeks old on 2/15/25. He has the cutest nubby tail like his mom! - His mom is 25 pounds and his dad is 18 pounds. Both are very sweet little dogs and we'd be happy to share photos and video of the parent dogs which are also in foster with us. - We are not certain of the breed mix but mom might be an American Staffordshire/Chihuahua mix and dad looks like a scruffy, wire-haired gray Terrier. We anticipate pups will likely be around 25-30 pounds full grown but cannot guarantee full size at maturity. - Pups are being cared for in a loving, nurturing foster home with lots of handling by adults and gentle children. Additionally, the litter has gentle adult dogs in the home to also interact and socialize with. We look for adoptive homes that understand that pups are a lot of work and take a lot of supervision and training. We seek adopters that value socialization and gradual exposure to new people, places and things so that their puppy will grow up into a well socialized adult dog. Adoption fee includes first round of puppy vaccines, two rounds of dewormer, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, a free wellness exam at one of our four partner veterinary clinics and neuter before one year of age. Puppies are adopted out on a spay/neuter contract. $450 adoption fee Fostered in Gresham, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT TADA ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

A home with a yard would be ideal for this sweet girl to stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate companion, Callie might just be your perfect match! Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
