Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Wizard Waverly! This charming little 10-pound Chiweenie may have a magical name, but his greatest spell is how quickly he can steal your heart. At just 3 years old, Wizard Waverly is a bright, curious, and affectionate pup who’s learning what it means to be loved and cared for. Wizard came to us from a heartbreaking situation — a home with over 30 dogs living in unsafe conditions. Thanks to the efforts of multiple rescues (including ours!), Wizard and his friends finally got their chance at a better life. Despite his rough start, Wizard’s resilience shines through every day. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and making great progress learning to use the doggy door. He’s still working on his leash training, but he’s such a smart boy that he’s picking it up quickly! Wizard loves toys, especially ones he can chase or squeak, and he’ll happily entertain himself or join in a play session with his humans. Wizard can be a bit shy and skittish when meeting new people or encountering new situations — understandable given his past — but once he feels safe, his sweet, snuggly side shines. He loves attention, gentle pets, and being close to his trusted people. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to give Wizard Waverly the safe forever home he deserves, this little guy will reward you with endless love and loyalty. Interested in becoming a forever home for Wizard? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Whimzy Winslow! Say hello to Whimzy Winslow, a 2-year-old, 10-pound Chiweenie who’s as charming as his name suggests! This little guy may be small, but he’s full of heart, curiosity, and playful energy. Whimzy came from a tough beginning — a home with over 30 dogs living in poor conditions — but thanks to the efforts of multiple rescues (including ours), he finally has the chance to enjoy the good life. And he’s making the most of it! He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and learning to use the doggy door. Leash walking is still something he’s figuring out, but with how smart and eager he is, he’s improving every day. Whimzy loves playing with toys and spending time outside — exploring, sniffing, and soaking up the sunshine are some of his favorite things. At first, Whimzy can be a bit reserved around new people or situations, but once he feels comfortable, he shows his true colors — affectionate, funny, and full of love. Whimzy Winslow is ready to find a forever family who will give him the patience, kindness, and care he deserves. In return, he’ll be your loyal little shadow and bring endless joy to your days. Story
Meet our sweet all-black Pom, Olive. Born October 2023, she is a pure-bred, 7-8 lb little love bug who truly lives to cuddle. She wants to be in your lap, next to you on the couch, or being held like a baby as much as possible. She’s gentle, affectionate, and bonds closely with her people. She loves playing fetch with her stuffies and has done well around other older dogs at family gatherings. She knows what “potty” means and will sometimes go to the door, but due to our family’s separation over the last 1 1/2 years and work schedules, we haven’t been able to keep a consistent routine, so she still has indoor accidents. With structure and patience, she can continue improving. She can be protective of high-value treats or chews, so we always trade or distract to avoid growls/bites. She is otherwise very sweet and loving. We adore her, but she deserves a home that can give her the consistency she needs. Our hope is to find her a calm, loving forever home where she can truly thrive.
