Jelly Roll is an adorable, 4-lb, 8-week-old Chihuahua mix who arrived in foster care as an only pup with his mama. Like all babies, Jelly Roll has a itsy-bitsy puppy bladder, so he needs an adopter who isn’t gone all day and is ready to help him master house-training and crate-training. Bonus points if you’re familiar with the legendary Chihuahua sass! He get along well with respectful, dog-savvy kids—especially those who understand that his little puppy teeth are just part of normal puppy play, not him trying to hurt anyone. Jelly Roll enjoys the company of other dogs and, with proper introductions and training, should do well with cats—though he may try to topple them during play, as he believes everything is a toy. When he’s not bouncing around with his toys, Jelly Roll is a total cuddle bug. He adores snuggling with his humans and fur foster siblings, so another friendly pup in the home would make his tail wag even faster. He is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 12/16 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2576713##

I'm nine years young, neutered and quite handsome, if I do say so myself! My favorite place in the world is on a lap—I'm a champion cuddler and thrive on affection. I'm a very friendly boy, but I'm much more comfortable in a calm, adult environment. I do not like young children because their energy and quick movements make me nervous. Luna and Harry must stay together for Harry's sake. He is the more nervous and tends to shy from new things. Their brother Henry we were able to separate after many months of work with Henry going to visit for an hour or so and then extending the time. Sadly this didn't work for Harry. They are 3 1/2 years old. They had never been outside and we had to acclimatize them to the real world. It took a year before they would willingly walk out the door on leash. Both are very sweet dogs once they get to know you which doesn't take long. They are pee pad trained but are going outside now. Small children are not recommended as the pair are not well socialized with small kids and the pups would probably react badly to pulling or trying to be picked up the little ones. They do well with some dogs but not all they meet, with a little work they can adjust.
