Tiny Tim is a 14 lb 4-5 month old Chihuahua mix who is looking for his new best friend. Tiny Tim was found after being thrown from a car during a snowstorm. Despite this rough start, he has nothing but love to give and is a resilient little soul with a huge heart.  Tiny Tim loves to be involved in whatever you’re doing. If you’re heading out for a walk or playing in the snow, he’ll want to come along; if you’re settling in to watch TV, he’ll happily chew his bone and then curl up on your lap for a cozy nap and snuggles. This loving goofball has a playful, silly side that keeps us laughing daily. He loves to proudly zoom around the house, carrying his favorite toys from room to room. For Tiny Tim, the more toys the better, and he'll try to carry several at once. He also loves chasing and wrestling with his foster dog brother. He's very smart and has already picked up a few tricks. Tiny Tim is still a puppy and will do best with an adopter who understands puppy training and is ready to continue reinforcing his routine as he grows. Tiny Tim is playful, affectionate, and deeply connected to his people, and he’s going to make someone an incredibly loyal and joyful companion. ##2639328##

Meet Earl Earl is a 3-year-old, 11-lb Chihuahua mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love to give. He came from a hoarding situation and was once very scared and shy, but with patience and kindness, Earl has truly blossomed and continues to come out of his shell more every day. When Earl arrived, he had lost patches of fur from lack of care, but his coat is already starting to grow back and is expected to be beautiful once fully healed. What he may have lacked in the past, he makes up for now with endless affection—Earl adores his people and would happily spend most of his day curled up in your lap, soaking in cuddles and attention. Earl is just discovering what it means to be a dog. He has recently learned about toys and is beginning to play and enjoy them, which is incredibly heartwarming to watch. He gets along well with kids and other dogs. He has not been around cats. He is crate trained and sleeps perfectly through the night in his crate. Before coming to Pittsburgh, Earl had never been outside, so he will need a patient adopter willing to continue working with him on outdoor potty training. He is currently pee-pad trained and has done a great job keeping his crate clean. Earl is truly a diamond in the rough—a gentle, loving boy who just needs someone ready to give him the love, patience, and security he has always deserved. Luna and Harry must stay together for Harry's sake. He is the more nervous and tends to shy from new things. Their brother Henry we were able to separate after many months of work with Henry going to visit for an hour or so and then extending the time. Sadly this didn't work for Harry. They are 3 1/2 years old. They had never been outside and we had to acclimatize them to the real world. It took a year before they would willingly walk out the door on leash. Both are very sweet dogs once they get to know you which doesn't take long. They are pee pad trained but are going outside now. Small children are not recommended as the pair are not well socialized with small kids and the pups would probably react badly to pulling or trying to be picked up the little ones. They do well with some dogs but not all they meet, with a little work they can adjust.
