Meet Gale! She's approximately 16 weeks old, and somehow, despite being everything you could hope for in a puppy, she isn't getting any adoption applications. Here's what you're missing: She's SWEET. Really, really sweet. She's already housetrained! She absolutely loves people. She loves other dogs and is always up for making a new friend. She loves to PLAY just as much as she loves to CUDDLE. She's ready for car rides, adventures on the trails, or a lazy evenings snuggled up on the couch. She's at that perfect puppy age where she's discovering the world, learning new things, and waiting for someone to make her a permanent part of theirs. Be Gale's somebody, & the reason her waiting ends. Sometimes a name just fits, and Precious is definitely one of those dogs. At 10 years young, she's a sweet, gentle, low-energy girl who can be timid at first, but give her a little time and her affectionate personality begins to shine. Precious gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has settled right into her foster pack (3 large dogs and 2 other chihuahuas) she's even starting to play a little! She loves being near her person—curling up beside her foster mom while she works or occasionally deciding they should share the office chair. She enjoys cuddles but is also perfectly content relaxing on her own. Once Precious bonds with you, she becomes your little lookout and will alert you when she hears something unfamiliar. She's shy with new visitors and just needs a little time to warm up. She's crate trained, walks well and has the cutest little prance. She gets around great and even uses a stool to hop onto the bed. Precious is also discovering TREATS—and she's a big fan! She's got quite the nose for people food, too. One exception: peanut butter is unacceptable. Precious has standards. She's still working on potty training and will let you know when she needs a nighttime potty break. She has no known pre-existing medical conditions. Precious may be 10, but she's still discovering new things and showing us more of her personality every day. She's looking for a patient, loving home where she can enjoy plenty of cozy spots, treats (hold the peanut butter!) and companionship. Sweet, gentle and just a little shy—that's our Precious. Peanut has a big dog personality and if he sees other dogs, he gets super excited, and the yipping sounds scary, but he just wants to play!! He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness.In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. Hi, My name is Charlie. I am the cutest LOWRIDER. I was born on a cold day in January. I had 11 siblings, but my mom couldn’t feed us all. I was taken in by my foster mom when I was just two days old. I was so small. Now I’m a big boy! Ok, I may be small in size, but I have a big personality! I’m not yappy like a lot of small dogs so I won’t disturb your neighbors. I love playing with other dogs. I also like to play outside where I can chase bugs and play with leaves and sticks. I love chew toys like my Nylabone. I also like tug and crinkle toys. I’m crate trained and do okay in a crate, but I prefer to be with my people. Ever since I learned to go potty outside, I’ve had the run of the house and I even get to sleep in bed with my foster mom and dad. Did I mention I loooove food? I’ll show you some cool spin moves when you bring my meals. I also know how to sit patiently and wait my turn for treats. I’m new to walking on a leash, but I’ve been doing really well. I ride really well in the car and would love to be your co-pilot and best friend. Athena is a 2 1/2-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 6 pounds, but don't let her tiny size fool you, this little girl has a heart big enough to fill a room! Athena has been through something no dog should have to experience. She suffered a head injury that left her with some permanent brain damage. Thankfully, she does not have seizures, but she does walk with an adorable head tilt and has a bit of a goofy, quirky way about her. Her differences only make her that much more special. Athena is good with other dogs and would love a peaceful, quiet home where she can feel safe and take her time settling in. She can be shy when she first meets someone, but once she realizes she is loved and safe, she warms up beautifully. And when Athena loves you, she loves with her whole heart. IMPORTANT: Athena needs a FEMALE-ONLY home. Because of her tiny size and delicate nature, we are also looking for a home without small children. Her ideal person will be patient, understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to build confidence and adjust to her new surroundings. Athena may do things a little differently, but she doesn't let that stop her from being a sweet, loving little dog.
