Ellie May is a sweet 9-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua mix with a gentle heart and a loyal spirit. She may be a little shy at first while she settles into a new home, but once she learns your routine, she forms a deep and devoted bond with her person. If you’ve been dreaming of a constant companion who will happily follow you from room to room, Ellie May could be your perfect match. She gets along nicely with other dogs and tends to be more of a quiet observer than an active playmate. Based on her easygoing nature, she would likely do well in a home with cats, too. She is very smart and wouldn't mind polite children.  Ellie May is crate trained and mostly housebroken. She understands to go to the back door when she needs to go out, though she isn’t always able to hold it, so she will benefit from a consistent schedule and a patient adopter as she adjusts. Storms can make her a bit uneasy, but she finds comfort staying close to her person during those times. Ellie May is ready to find a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and right by your side. I’m a 3-year-old scruffy chi mix with an adorable, slightly tousled look that gives me tons of character (and charm, if I do say so myself). I’m playful, social, and happiest when I have a furry dog friend by my side. Kissy is a sweet elderly lady. Being a senior, she does have a few health issues. She does suffer from kidney disease and requires IV fluids every two to three days. Despite these issues, she would be an excellent companion for some doting family.

Luna and Harry must stay together for Harry's sake. He is the more nervous and tends to shy from new things. Their brother Henry we were able to separate after many months of work with Henry going to visit for an hour or so and then extending the time. Sadly this didn't work for Harry. They are 3 1/2 years old. They had never been outside and we had to acclimatize them to the real world. It took a year before they would willingly walk out the door on leash. Both are very sweet dogs once they get to know you which doesn't take long. They are pee pad trained but are going outside now. Small children are not recommended as the pair are not well socialized with small kids and the pups would probably react badly to pulling or trying to be picked up the little ones. They do well with some dogs but not all they meet, with a little work they can adjust.
