Story
Hector and his younger brother Felix were owner surrenders. They are located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so these sweet little boys are willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. They do not need to be adopted together. Hector is a quiet, loving, little apple-head chihuahua. At 8lbs and around 2 years old he is as big as he will get! He has a huge heart and a smile that you will instantly fall in love with him. He doesn’t nip or yap but does bark in appropriate situations. Hector is being fostered in a home with his younger brother and several, mostly large dogs. He is dog-friendly and likes to play but LOVES snuggling with people and is an expert at it. Hector burrows in his blankets and makes a game of it (the blanket monster game) to play with his younger brother. Hector would be a fantastic apartment condo dog as he is paper-trained but will also go potty outside. Hector has never been alone so he would do best with a stay-at-home parent or another low-energy small dog companion. His dream home would be a retired person who wants a lap dog. His younger brother is also available for adoption but it is not required that they be adopted together. Because Hector is so small, he must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt him. He must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Hector must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. To avoid injury, he will need steps to get on and off the couch and other furniture. Hector must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Hector is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Hector's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to the Pittsburgh area. He is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this sweet little boy. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so these sweet little boys are willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. They do not need to be adopted together. Felix is a fun and loving chihuahua. At 8 lbs and around 1 year of age, he packs a big punch of love! Felix LOVES to socialize with people and other dogs and wants to make as many people and canine friends as possible. He is generally quiet but does bark in appropriate situations. Felix and his brother Hector are being fostered in a home with many other big and small dogs. He will meet the other dogs through his kennel with a wagging tail. He has had successful play dates with the little 18lb terrier but has not been out with the big dogs yet (although he would like to be). Felix is paper-trained and will also go potty outside. He would be a fantastic apartment dog. He would need a canine companion or a situation where he is not left alone while you are at work. Because Felix is so small, he must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt him. He must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Story
Introducing Tucker the Explorer! This wonderful boy is a lovable, cute, expressive dog looking to become someone's forever companion! He's very well trained - knowing how to stay in a crate, go potty outside, and even go through the doggy door! Tucker is a very chill and low energy dog who enjoys everyone. Sometimes Tucker experiences some anxiety when people leave him to go to work or run errands but that's about the extent of it. Tucker would do well in a household where there are other dogs around to bring out his playful side. Potential adopters should know that Tucker is a velcro dog and will be stuck to your side at all times during the day and night. He loves a good nap with his family! Don't wait, Tucker will give you a wonderful buddy for LIFE :) Look in his eyes and ADOPT HIM!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there. I am Ory, short for Oreja (means animal ears in Spanish). As you can see, I have quite large ears so foster mom thought the name fit me well. I am a 15 pound, male, chi mix ( most likely chiweenie). I have a long daschund body, expressive eyes ( for catching the babes) and fox ears. I was found running down the alley in foster mom's neighborhood. I wasn't chipped and no one recognized me so foster mom took me home and got me into the rescue. I did turn out to be heartworm positive but just went through treatment and I'm a new guy! I'm ready to go to a home that will keep me on heartworm prevention so that I don't get those pesky worms again. I am housebroken, crate trained and very obedient. I love going on car rides and for walks. I am a very quiet dog who likes to sit next to my person while they watch tv or read a book. Foster mom says I'm a major cuddler who loves to sleep under a bunch of blankets in my crate. She sometimes can only see my tail! I get along with other dogs and respect their space. I love people and allow children to pet me when they come up to me on walks. It is unknown how I do with cats as foster mom does not have any. I do love to chase squirrels and birds though so it's possible I might chase cats too. I do have some mild separation anxiety and would love to be in a home with a retiree or someone who works from home. It isn't necessary to have someone home all the time though as I do settle down in my crate after just a few minutes of crying. I do need to live in a home with a secure fence as I have a tendency to run away if given an opportunity. The tendency to take off is probably why I ended up being found as a stray since I definately didn't look like I had missed any meals! Iol So, as you can see, I'm an all around good guy to have around for someone looking for a companion. Are you that person? If so, have your peeps call my peeps and I'll be right over.

Vicar is the most reserved of the group. Once he knows he's safe he loves a good cuddle. He's playful with his siblings. Great with other dogs and cats. Though he is a little nervous at first he warms up quickly. Local adoption fee is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
